If using the 800k baht in the bank option it will need to be in the bank for 2 months. You current extension of stay will be valid to the day it expires.

Pre covid 19 there were reports of them doing a multiple entry non-o for retirement. If I recall correctly they wanted the same financial requirements as a extension of stay based upon retirement.
