Reporting a passport lost or stolen is mandatory and I have never heard of anybody having a problem when doing the report due to an overstay. Doing the report can be the first step of sorting out a possible overstay.

Returning on my Non-Imm Visa Extension
ubonjoe replied to carlyai's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
1/2. You will only need 30 days of insurance that covers covid 19. There are some companies shown here. https://tqm-app.com/static/thailandpass/index.html This will issue insurance up to the age of 99. https://www.tipinsure.com/CovidRegional/product_detail 3. You will need to upload your vaccination certificates. If they have a QR code you will need to upload it as well. -
VISA requirement
ubonjoe replied to Kenneth White's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
They have denied applications using income proven by transfers from abroad. Unless you can get proof from your embassy it is not possible to use the income option. -
Question on Non Imm O Visa

You can apply for the Thailand Pass before leaving the country. If you are leaving after being here for a long period of time I suggest you apply for a tourist visa at the embassy in Phnom Penh instead of entering visa exempt. There have been reports of immigration making problems for those entering the country with a visa exempt entry and denying them entry after being here for a while. If you do enter visa exempt I suggest you have ticket out of the country within 30 days and the equivalent of 20k baht in cash to show immigration if asked or them.

Dodgy stuff happening when importing personal effects to Thailand
ubonjoe replied to rose33's topic in General Topics
No directly related to visas or extensions. Moved to the Business, banking and etc. forum. -
The police will not know about that or care when the police report is done. There is no way to avoid doing a police report sine that is required to get a replacement passport at their embassy.

How were they lost? You can do a police report for a lost or stolen passport without being arrested. You were given false info from the person that told you that would happen. You need to contact the agency and get them to assist you with your problems.

If you used the combination of income and funds in the bank the funds only need to be in the bank for 3 months after the day you applied and then at least half of it until you apply for the next extension using the income option. I assume you will be able to show at least a year of months 65k baht transfer from abroad when you apply for your next extension.

Question on Non Imm O Visa
ubonjoe replied to bluebanana's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Do you have a multiple entry non-o visa issued by a embassy or consulate that is valid for a year and allows unlimited 90 day entries. No need for a re-entry permit if that is what you have. Or do you actually have a one year extension of stay for for the 90 day entry from a non-o visa you you applied for at a immigration office. You will need a re-entry permit to keep your extension of stay valid when you enter the country using it. -
Changing B Visa to Medical visa
ubonjoe replied to Tom Vanderlay's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
They can be issued up to 90 days each time a application is done. There is no limit for the number of them that can be issued as long as the supporting documents state it is needed. -
Changing B Visa to Medical visa
ubonjoe replied to Tom Vanderlay's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
You would cancel your current extension a and apply for the extension for medical care on the same day. I assume an agent could do it if they had all the supporting documents from you doctor and/or the hospital. -
Changing B Visa to Medical visa
ubonjoe replied to Tom Vanderlay's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
You cannot apply for a visa while in the country. You can apply for a extension of stay for medical treatment when your current extension is canceled. It can be issued up to 90 days per application for it. General requirements for it is here at at number 25. https://www.immigration.go.th/en/?page_id=1890 -
She could do it the same day you do your extension. It can only be done at immigration. Download: TM30 Form Notification of aliens staying at a residence101.92 kB · 1348 downloads

You will have to cancel your current extension at the office where you applied for it. You will need a termination letter stating your last day you will be working for them before applying for a extension based upon retirement. Most immigration offices will post date the cancelation date if you request it be done before the date on the letter. That may give you time to apply for your extension based upon retirement at the new office.

You daughter would do the the TM30 report since is the owner of your residence. Since it should be a one time thing unless you leave and re-enter with a new visa it would not be worth the trouble to register to do it online. She can complete it and submit it in person.
