  1. A short trip out of the country would not be a problem. I would say not more than a month but less would be better.
  2. It is a letter from the bank confirming your account is valid that has your balance on it for the day it is written. Some offices may not accept it if it is more than the day before you apply. You will also need to show your updated bank book and copies of it,
  3. I am not sure it would be possible and of course it could depend upon the crossing they used. Most reports of doing it are from people that have done it by air.
  4. He applied for non-o visa online to the Thai embassy. They issue a e visa that is emailed to the applicant. He did not get the email until he arrived here.
  5. I doubt very much you will be denied entry since you have been out of the country for some time now. Showing you have a onward flight already to the officer would insure you would not be denied entry. Are you sure you will have to go through Thai immigration. You should be able transfer to your connecting flight to Vietnam.
  6. The mobile app for 90 day reports is known to have problems with it. Perhaps try the new online reporting site. https://tm47.immigration.go.th/tm47/#/login It will work on mobile browsers.
  7. Those are only for Bangkok immigration. It has been on general forum for many years. I took over a few years ago when the admin doing it before left the forum. A pinned topic on this forum would just be wasted space since nobody would look at it.l
  8. There is a pinned topic for holidays on the general forum.
  9. Have you considered applying for a single entry non-o visa based upon your marriage to a Thai. That would allow a 90 day stay without applying for a extension. I think you will find it easier to apply that a tourist visa. No need for a flight out of the country to apply for it. See: https://thaievisa.go.th/non-immigrant-o You could enter visa exempt to get a 45 day entry that can be extended for 30 days and after that you could apply for a 60 day extension to visit your wife.
  10. There is are websites that provide legit temporary onward tickets. So a search for onward ticket an you find sites offering them.
  11. The e visa site is only for applying for a visa issued by a embassy or consulate, They do not post info about visa exempt entries. Many embassies have info for visa exempt entries but it is not always kept up to date. For example this info on the embassy in the US is not up to date and has outdated info. See: https://thaiembdc.org/visaexemption/
  12. A Cambodia e visa can be used at that crossing. See: https://www.evisa.gov.kh/
  13. He only need 400k baht in the bank since he is apparently applying for a extension based upon marriage not retirement.
  14. If you do not have a re-entry permit your extension of stay ends on the day you leave the country. You can apply for the non-o visa at the consulate in Savannakhet, If married to a Thai you can apply for a 60 day extension ti visit you wife. You can only for one of them per entry using a visa. If on a non-o visa entry you cannot apply for a 30 day extension.
  15. I assume your extension was not issued at the designated office where you are living. In that case the agent may need to do your reports. To report at your local office you would have to change your address to it. I think you need to talk to your agent about your 90 day report.
  16. That crossing is often referred to as the Hat Lek crossing. The only fee should be for a visa on arrival for Cambodia.
  17. Article is now in the news forum. Please continue the discussion there. This topic now
  18. You can use a signed copy of your wife's ID card. The passport copy is not mandatory.
  19. The airline should accept proof you will getting a visa when you arrive. You could also get a temporary onward ticket online for about $14 to insure you won't have a problem.
  20. Not unless you left and re-entered the country with a new visa. Only one per entry is allowed.
  21. Moved to the Australia & Oceania Topics and Events sub forum of the home country forum.
  22. The TM30 report is equal to doing a change of address. Be sure you get the receipt for the report or a copy of it to show immigration.
