  1. Tomorrow is not a holiday for immigration or banks. The 13th, 14th and the 24th are holidays for this month for immigration. Banks will be open on the 14th.
  2. The rules have changed since then. A overstay of more than 90 days now can result in being sent to the detention center for deportation after paying the 20k baht fine.
  3. Best to go the airport and pay the 20k baht fine when leaving the country. He will banned from entering the country for at least a year. If he went to immigration he might be detained and deported. No problem to travel on a domestics flight. Showing his emergency passport since they only want to see the passport for identification purposes.
  4. Your friend should do a TM30 report to report your arrival at their condo. They need to show the blue house book and their ID card if Thai or passport if not.
  5. He wrote marriage visa and that is the only extension that comes close to being one.
  6. No need for a TM30 report anymore unless you enter with a new visa or change addresses since the regulation was changed in June of 2020.
  7. A TM47 form is not needed unless a 90 day report is due. His next report is not due until he has stayed for 90 days after entering the country. A TM30 form is not needed unless you enter with a new visa.
  8. Only a TM30 form would be needed unless your 90 day report is due. Changing you address does no change your report date.
  9. You can apply for a 30 day extension of each entry from your visa. You cannot get a new entry without leavening the country. If your wife is getting medical care and the hospital and/or a doctor she can apply for a extension for that reason that can be issued for up to 90 days with documents stating she cannot travel.
  10. If you leave and then re-enter after a few days in another country you will not have a problem. Immigration only makes a problem if appear to be using visa exempt entries to live here by leaving and returning on the same day. Spending at least a night or 2 away it will not throw up any flags.
  11. The new rules do not break it down to inpatient or outpatient. It is a flat 3 million baht of coverage that includes covid 19.
  12. The new requirements are shown in this new police order issued last December. There is more info in the order. Download: RTP-Order-No.654-2564-1.pdf
  13. There is no holiday on November 11th. Immigration in Bangkok will be closed on November 16, 17 and 18th for a special holiday due to the APEC meeting in Bangkok.
  14. Immigration issued a new order in December of last year. Download order for more info. RTP-Order-No.654-2564-1.pdf
  15. That is not correct. Not sure who told you that false info. There is certainly no 50 year old limit for a family member to get a extension of stay. See number 20 here. https://www.immigration.go.th/en/?page_id=1890 Retirement is clause 2.22 on the above.
  16. You extension of stay after getting a non immigrant visa would fall under number 27 here (click to see the requirements). https://www.immigration.go.th/en/?page_id=1890 You would also probably qualify for a non-f visa that can be applied for at immigration. See: https://www.immigration.go.th/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/16.FOR-OFFICIAL-GOVERNMENT-DUTIES-NON-F.pdf
  17. Your first 90 day report is due 90 days from the day you applied for the one year extension of stay (it is not a visa). But since you will leaving the country you will not need to do one until 90 days from the day you enter the country. Be sure you get a re-entry permit to keep your extension of stay valid when you enter the country after your trip,
  18. The 5000 baht probably includes a fee for the agent going with you or a kick back for immigration. The normal fee for a extension is 1900 baht.
  19. You could setup a 51/49% partnership with your wife and get a work work permit that would require at least 2 Thai employees (wife can be one of them).
  20. You will need a bank statement showing at least 12 months of transfers totaling at least 65k baht every month. Not all immigration offices will want a letter from the bank showing your transfers into the bank and some bank will not do them. You will also need the standard letter form the bank confirming you account.
