  1. That info is not correct. I think they were talking about covid 19 insurance that is no longer required to enter the country.
  2. The new insurance requirements require $100,000 or 3.5 million baht of medical insurance that includes covid 19 insurance effective September 1st. To change to a non-o visa you would have to leave and re-enter the country with a non-o visa or visa exempt and apply for it at immigration.

For entry to Thailand you can enter with the vaccinations you have now. For another country it might not be accepted.
  4. You can lower the 800k baht to 400k baht 3 months after you apply for your extension and then top it up to 800k baht 2 months before you apply for next extension.
  5. No You will be extending your current extension not a new entry from a non-o visa.
  6. Here are the requirements to enter Thailand now.
  7. Health insurance is only needed if extending a entry from a Non-OA visa. Not needed if extending a non-o visa entry. If applying for a non-o visa at most embassies or official consulates you would need 90 days of medical insurance.
  8. You could if you are married to or the parent of a Thai.
  9. Only Bangkok immigration wants it to mailed 14 days before your report date. But it must received at least 7 days before the report date.
  10. Many people have gotten the 60 day extension when they are on one year extension without a problem and then applied near the end of the 60 days for the new one year. Certainly no need to leave the country. Have you asked them about it? I can recall a report of Koen Khean not requiring the 2 months and it was approved by Division 4 headquarters that is now located in KK.
  11. You TM6 number is not required on the new online reporting site. There is no place to enter it. The mobile app still shows it.
  12. I don't seen any posts that have been removed in this topic. Maybe you forgot to post it.
  13. You current extension will still be valid since you are extending it for 60 days to visit your child. You can apply for the new extension near the end of the 60 days. This from clause 2.18 the immigration order. (5) In the case of parents, the father or mother must maintain an average annual income of no less than Baht 40,000 per month throughout the year or must have deposited funds of no less than Baht 400,000 to cover expenses for one year. No mention of the 2 months. Only number 6 mentions the 2 months for a extension based upon marriage. Download: Immigration Order 327/2557 (2014)

I got mine here in Ubon by just walking in at one of the vaccination centers. Not sure where they are located now. You could try calling the Department of Public health here at 045243301. You could try calling the same office in Sisaket.
  15. Have you tried the new 90 day reporting site. It is much better than the old one. Link: https://tm47.immigration.go.th/tm47/#/login
  16. That not true at all immigration offices. When I went to apply for mine last week a the office here they did not give back to me and tell it is not required.
  17. A STV (special tourist visa) is not a multiple entry visa. It allows one 90 day entry that can be extended for 90 days. It may not be available after September 30th. You could get a multiple entry tourist visa (METV) that allows unlimited 60 day entries for 6 months from the day it is issued.
  18. It is the original Thai Elite visa. The 5 year visas that allow a one year stay replaced the original one in 2012 or 2013. You have to apply for 90 extensions at immigration or leave and re-enter the country to get a new 90 day stay.
  19. That is for a non-o visa applied for a immigration not a extension of stay.
  20. It is very unlikely you non-o visa would be denied. You would not be denied entry to the country and could enter visa exempt to get 30 days. If you are on extension of stay with a re-entry permit you could use it to enter the country but the consulate could refuse your application since it is equal to having a valid visa in your passport. You wife would need to sign a copy of her ID card and house book registry. They could want a copy of your marriage certificate be signed by her as well. 21. 1, Cannot answer that since I have never used a agent. 2. Clause 2.18 of the immigration order does not mention the 2 months requirement when applying for extension for being a parent of Thai. Some offices still want it to be in bank for 2 months though. 3. You Can apply for the extension on the day your current one ends. 4. No But you could apply for a 60 day extension to visit your child if you have not applied for one since your last entry with a visa.
  22. You do not have to enter on the same flight you used for the visa application.
  23. Insurance is only required if you are entering with a Non-OA visa. If a entry from a Non-O visa it is not required.
  24. The lifetime membership is no longer available and it only allow 90 day entries.
