Funnily enough, just this Friday past. ( first time in 5 years ) .My flight from Thailand arrived Thursday Evening and I was booked into the Thistle hotel in Longford. I was up very early Friday morning ( sort of jet lag ) and decided to walk to Harmondsworth cemetery about a mile away to visit my dads grave before continuing my journey to where my mum now lives. Fortunately , my sisters ex husband visits the grave once a year and keeps it tidy as my dad helped him out a lot when he was alive. Does this despite none of us asking him to do so.

In the UK a double grave is dug deeper not wider to save space. So whoever dies first gets buried deeper and the spouse on top later. There has long been talk about moving all the graves where my father is buried to make way for a new runway at Heathrow airport. So far these plans have come to nothing.

Ideally back to the shop you bought it from but any genuine gold shop will give you just as much.

Thai Private Sector Seeks Help As Chinese Products Flood Market
Denim replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
I already do but most consumers don't. They just want the best bang for their buck regardless of any other considerations. It is the ordinary man or woman in the street fueling the demand for cheaper Chinese products. -

One thing I really want in the room is bedside table and bedside light. No matter how fancy the room or how expensive I avoid places without these. Hate having to put my glasses , book and drinking water on the floor. The bedside lights allow late reading or surfing if the other wants to sleep. Apart from that, soft bed and pillows plus quiet location with a bit of a view. Got a car so not bothered if away from town center. Rarely stay anywhere more than 2 nights so other amenities not important.

Depends on the type of balcony. Ceiling to floor roller blinds . ( Pa gan saht ) Also provides shade keeps interior cooler. Keep up when using the balcony or tie down shut when not using.

Scottish man becomes latest victim of Thailand’s perilous roads
Denim replied to snoop1130's topic in Krabi News
In this case , witnesses said the Swede had forgotten to push up the side stand. As he came over a bridge and leant left into a bend he must have heard the metal scaping and in a panic leant the bike upright again causing it to veer into the front of an oncoming saloon car in the other lane. Result...head on collision with hime flying over the handle bars and shattering the cars windscreen with his head. Tragic but with a helmet he may have survived.. I posted a thread on this forum about it trying to warn others to wear a helmet. Here is the aftermath: -
Vipawadi Rangsit is a different road altogether. The road running through the Victory monument is Pahonyothin.

Funny that although you added a laughing emoji to your post you still confused three people and upset 2. I have noticed that some posters don't do humor at all unless it is screamingly obvious like a custard pie in the face. On second thougts a video of that would get even more confused and sad emojis.

Seriously , google maps and street view are you best choice. An aerial shot shows an on ramp if you are heading south towards Victory monument. I always look at street view then you can actually see the route with your own eyes and know exactly what to look for.

Shoulden't be a problem. Since the facts of the case are not to be revealed then proof of innocence or guilt has not been established. Therefore , until the facts are disclosed Prawit should be banned from political office until such time as he is positevely proven innocent. Until then , it must be presumed that he might be guilty and not allowed to take any political position.

Yup. The days when 10 baht would have gotten you a room and a loose woman are long gone.

Scottish man becomes latest victim of Thailand’s perilous roads
Denim replied to snoop1130's topic in Krabi News
Does sound like he was not wearing a helmet. An almost identical accident happened here in Petchabun a couple of years ago. Didn't make the news anywhere. Swedish guy only here a week wandered into oncoming lane and died in head on collision. No helmet. 9 out of 10 foreigners I see riding around here don't wear a helmet. Presumably they think on a short journey with little traffic a helmet is over the top. A very foolish assumption.- 211 replies

Expect nothing and you won't be disappointed. Captain Kirk is bound to discover an unknown internet connection in the back of beyond.
