    And, the only TV you can install Kodi on is a Sony as its the only Android OS on a TV

    This I don't know. But I have 2 Android TV Boxes and Kodi is running on 1 PC and 1 notebook.

    But the most TV I look direct on my PC with Chrome!!! No Kodi needed!!!

    Very ridiculous??? Do you never looked at a student job board? The most jobs there are poor paid. Did you made your MBA online?

    In almost ALL EU countries students can work as taxi drivers ...???

    Some tests must be done for drive a taxi and you must know your city. That's all.

    It remind me your post about company's ownership. Another nonsense!!!

    This is not nonsens, this is the TRUE!!! How can a normal farang open a BOI Company??? This is NONSENS!!! Who have 100 million to invest for his 100% ownership? I talk about reality not about dreams!!!

    Why the most farangs open a Ltd. and not a BOI registered company? Because they don't have this money and so it isn't a option!!!

    Maybe you can tell us here now how we can do it with a normal income between 1.200-2.000 EUR and 1.5 million THB in Bank!!! Please tell it to us!!!

    You are right!!! With BOI you can get a 100% farang ownership BUT how much THB you MUST invest??? 100 million THB or more? A lot of businesses are restricted and it's not easy to get a Foreign Business License.

    So this is not interesting for the most foreigners here. Specialy you can't own land under this companies.

    I bought my Android TV Boxes on Aliexpress. Much more cheaper as in Thailand, free shipping, no import tax!!! But need 2-3 weeks to get it!!!

    But in normal I look TV on my PC only with Internet Browser. It give some good websites with the most channels completly free.

    The onliest problem with some sites are to much POPUps. :-)

    For movies I use http://www.bestfreestreaming.com/ because streaming portals comes and gone and this list is always updated.

    Another good source is youtube. But you must search for "KEYWORD full movie" or similar and filter it for over 20 min.: Youtube

    Right, but on the immigration link what I showed they wrote that THIS IS FOR BUSINESS!!! So Thai wifes can refuse to pay it because it's the immigration self who inform the public that this is only for business!!! Or they wrote somewhere private family/wife, or something else? NO!!!

    What is with the Farangs who own appartements or houses? They reported their address already to the Immigration when they arrived in Thailand!!!

    And in FACT the wife must report it again (you reported it yourself at arrival), the Immigration must tell it exactly on their website. In the moment it is: "Only for business!!!" and the wifes can refuse to pay!!!

    The TM30 is only for business not private (husband in house of Thai wife).

    If you come to Thailand and report your homeadress with your wife everything is done!!!

    If they want to charge you, DON'T PAY!!! Tell they they can bring you to court because the rule is just for business and you reported your address already to the immigration when come to Thailand, also with 90 day reports, annual visa extension!!!

    Why? They try to charge the wifes and they can ignore it and wait for a court rule. But this the Thai wives would win because the immigration have the address already and this rule is for business only!!! It not bring problem to a farang!!!

    I believe they are searching for a new way of income because not so much farangs are coming to Thailand.

    And FARANGS have rights too!!! If you not like what the immigration rules you can give it to a court for ruling!!! But the most farangs not want to have problems!!! :-)

    tuk tuk drivers are basically scum who are not bright enough to drive a taxi.

    Generally, people are only driving taxis because they do not have the brains to do anything else.

    This does not just apply to Thailand.

    Absolutly stupid statement. A lot of university students in europe work part time as taxi drivers because it give a good income!!!

    Why is it so many posters cannot actually process the posts and answer a simple question.

    You quoted some posts of which mine was the last - I suggest you go back and re-read and maybe the light will dawn - although I am beginning to doubt it beatdeadhorse.gif

    I answered your simple question but you don't want accept it!!!

    You can try it on your illegal suggestion but be sure you shot yourself.

    Don't try a way to shit the system here. You are a farang and it's easy to confiscated all your possession and detain and deport you if you don't play by the rules.

    But I think you are old enough to know what way you wanna go.

    It's more costly, but you can have a second corporation hold the other 51% shares. This radically increases your share ownership. You can also partner up with a u.s. citizen, this way you can use many strategies to protect your shares, such as loans, mortgages, liens etc. It's illegal for a foreinger to borrow or lend money to a Thai, making most of these strategies useless, as they wont stand up in court.

    Or you can count to ten, then just burn your investment and save the time and headaches.

    Or just take your dough to Costa Rica. 130 year old govt banks paying 8% a year. Was paying 16.9% in 2008-2010!

    Do you have a link to back up the statement "It's illegal for a foreinger to borrow or lend money to a Thai" as that does not tie in to my experience?

    This is for sure 100% illegal. Farangs are not allowed to hold more as 49%. And on this way you want to hold 73,99%.

    Some corrupt laywers will tell you, you can do it. But it is illegal. And if you want to risk all: DO IT!!!

    It is the same with all this non operational companies what farangs set up for own land. It is illegal and if they check it you will be the big loser!!!
