I sat opposite the pedestrian crossing at Tukcom in South Road yesterday. Three times I counted the vehicles that passed by every minute. The best result was 8 cars and 3 motor bikes stoppd. The worst result was 6 cars and 1 motor bike stopped. If the BIB's had random checks at different pedestrian crossings every day not only would they make money but they might also saves lives. An easy fix would be to impound the vehicle for 30 days and the second offence for 90 days

Will Prasit get paroled after 400 years if he's well behaved while he's locked up. It makes good old Teflon Tonys jail term look very lenient.

My wife has had a medium size restaurant for at least 10 years and she refuses to employ Thais. She told me that Thais are so lazy when they're not self employed. They want to sit down, sleep, talk and even pull out out their cell phones to watch their favorite soapys. She employs Cambodians, pays them over the award and both partys are more than happy.

Around 5 years ago I bit the bullet and decided to lose weight. I went from 95kg's to 80 kg's in 6 months. I started walking every morning and restricted myself to 8 slices of bread weekly, no rice, pasta or spuds. I also reduced my beer drinking to one large beer every night. This worked fine for a long time but in recent months I've put 10kg's back on, even though I've restricted my food intake to the same as what it was when I was losing weight.

I hope no one is suggesting that the Thai government and armed forces are using propaganda. What gets me is how Thai TV and social media outlets are on the front line. When will we start getting nightly replay packages and other featured items such as hits of the day.
