Thailand Advances Casino Project Amid Overwhelming Public Support
spidermike007 replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
The real issue is going to be finding investors, why would someone invest a fortune in a casino knowing that the next government might decide they no longer want them. Look at what happened right next door in Cambodia some cities are like ghost towns due to the change in the law. -
Thai girlfriend working in a bar
spidermike007 replied to jjstephen's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
You are suffering from delusion, brought on by the extreme levels of emotional vulnerability men face in the West. She knows that and she is likely exploiting that. You cannot love someone you have not met and spent time with. You are simply in love with the idea of love. You will not get accurate info from the girls at the bar. They will protect her. If it mattered to you that she may have slept with hundreds of bar patrons, you should hire a forum member that lives in Pattaya, to go to the bar, attempt to bar fine her, and see what happens. If she is willing to bang him, you at least know what you are dealing with, and will know the whole thing has been a very clever charade, which I would bet it is. Very few nurses work part time in bars. Half of the art of getting a Thai GF, is to behave in such a manner that you ensure self preservation, and are able to maintain your manliness and self esteem. Never succumb to madness and utter foolishness. They all have a story. Most are fake stories. -
Trump is actively engaged in weakening gun control laws even after this event. He is morally bankrupt and sold his soul to the NRA and extremist gun owners. Many moderate gun owners are fine with more extensive background checks and more restrictions on semi automatic weapons. It is the Trumps of this world who are working hard to make it a more dangerous place, and make things easier for mass murderers.

Swedish Man Scammed by Thai Woman, Loses Over 300,000 Baht
spidermike007 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Huge numbers from the Arab world, Syria and Turkey, have emigrated to Sweden and nearby nations. Also, some very dumb suckers, apparently. -
Fake democracy at work. The self appointed cabinet. Deny the will of the people at your own eventual peril, you goons. Woe are the good people of Thailand.

Very typical of Carlson, who is a white supremacist and has always backed their cause. Holocaust denyers have always come up with outlandish theories and excuses for Hitler. It changes nothing. And now Vance is again choosing the wrong path and shooting himself in the foot daily. They just don't understand this white supremacist nonsense only appeals as to a small percent of their supporters. And turns off millions of independents. That campaign can't get anything right. Their meltdown is fun to watch.

He was a legend. Even the young ones like that band. Great music. An icon. His passing will be a big loss. -
Thai girlfriend working in a bar
spidermike007 replied to jjstephen's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
1. You never met her. Cancel the wedding tomorrow. Tell her you have have come to your senses, and decided you need to meet her, and get to know her first. 2. Give it at least 2-4 years, together ful time, before you propose. Time is ALWAYS our ally, and never theirs. The vast majority of Thai people are way immature for their age. And many women and men are emotionally undeveloped, and really just 13 year olds, who look like adults. So take you time, get to know who they really are. Take as much time as you need. If it's good it's only going to get better, and if there are problems, they are going to manifest themselves over time. You have NO idea what she's made of, you have no idea how good a job her family did raising her, you have no idea what her underlying neurosis or baggage is, until at least 12- 24months into the relationship. Together, not online. The longer, the better. If she walks, let her walk. 3. See if you like her family. It is far harder to have a successful relationship here if you don't. 4. So take you time, get to know who they really are, and how they act under duress. So take you time, get to know who they really are, and how they act under different sorts of circumstances, and how they act when they do not get their way. LOL. 5. You have already broken rule number one and two. You made a commitment without meeting her and getting to know her. And you spent too much time chatting with someone you never met. It is not too late. But, you must change your plans, and the sooner, the better. 6. Do not trust the bar story. You don't know her and you have no way to know if you can trust her. Assume the worst. -
Get used to saying President Harris. It was possible Trump could have turned this around. But, he has shown a complete inability to adapt (typical of very old fossilized dinosaurs) to Harris, picked the wrong VP candidate, and continues with his hatred, which is turning off independents. People have tired of his nonsense and his dumb tariff policies will be like raising taxes on Americans who are already hurting. See ya Don. Get ready for prison.

Trump Attempts to Delay Sentencing in Hush Money Case
spidermike007 replied to Social Media's topic in World News
I would rather see him lose the election by 13 million votes and 50 delegates, endure the greatest humiliation of his lifetime, become completely irrelevant politically, and then get locked up. -
There are so many different morals to this story, don't have sex with an underage girl, never give a girl ketamine before having sex with her, the lessons here are endless. I remember when I was in my twenties I dated a ridiculously hot woman who told me that she had been married for a very brief period, was having sex with her older husband, and he died of a heart attack while on top of her. For a few moments she couldn't tell if he was in ecstasy or in pain, and then he just keeled over. It boggles the mind to consider what that experience must be like.

Pope Francis Praises Large Families in Indonesia
spidermike007 replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Like Elon Musk, this guy is incredibly ignorant for making a statement like that knowing all the problems that the world is facing. And I am don't want to sound racist, because I'm not racist, but 21 out of 22 countries in the world that have the highest birth rates are Muslim nations, so the last thing he should be doing is encouraging Muslims to have more kids. This is not a great time to be bringing children into the world, and people are wising up. I don't think they're going to be able to reverse that trend. And it's a good thing overall, though some pain will be felt, no doubt. World population needs to drop. Well what might appear to be an empty lifestyle to some, is bordering on paradise to many millions of us. Though I like kids, I've never had the desire to own any. One hour with one is plenty. It's a personal choice, we all have to make these kind of decisions. 98% choose to go the conventional route and have children. For me children were never an option. And I'm infinitely thankful for that. The best thing that's happening to the world right now is countries like China and Japan just saying no to children. I do not think children are that special, they're not really needed, they are way over rated, and thankfully it's a choice these days and not compulsory. A lot of people are saying no, I don't need the headaches, I don't need the nonsense, I don't need the expense, I don't need the responsibility, and the planet does not need any other kid. Nah, I choose to have a great life, I don't need kids. I did that and it was the wisest and smartest decision of this lifetime. I don't miss not having kids for a nanosecond. -
Colin Gray must be very proud of himself and his son. What can one say? In this life they are various classes of mistakes, for instance wearing white to a formal event in New York City after Labor Day is considered a small mistake. A big mistake was Hitler deciding to invade Russia with the approach of winter. When it comes to mass murder, serial killings, serial rape, or genocide, I think that the penalties have to be severe for both the perpetrator and the family of the perpetrator. Cripple the kids families. Make them suffer. Bankrupt them, take their home, property, cars and make them suffer, as the families of this kid will suffer. They failed. They raised a murderer. And weaponized him! The authorities need to man up, make a statement and demonstrate that serious crime is taken seriously.

Yes he seems to have been serious about that, as he has not been heard from since. I'm sure a lot of guys on this forum are going to miss him, as he was such a source of knowledge and inspiration.

I was surprised he left out the joke about Hannibal Lecter, as he considers himself a comedian, and thinks he's a very funny man, yet I always find it amusing that nobody ever laughs at his jokes. And when he tells a joke, it is the only time he laughs. And do you ever notice how when he laughs he never smiles? The man's might smile once a month. His misery is unmatched.

I really do find quite fascinating how offended Trump supporters get when you criticize him. Objectively speaking the man is likely the most offensive, most ignorant, and most ill informed politician of my lifetime. Every time he opens his mouth his incredible level of ignorance is on full display, he rarely ever talks about substance, and he spends the vast majority of his time name calling and criticizing everyone that he doesn't like. And it's very amusing when some of his ill informed supporters lash out and call anybody who is not a devotee of the master a communist or a socialist, or haters of America, as if their ignorance is total when it comes to realizing how many tens of millions of centrist bemocrats there are in the US. Yet, we are all somehow ignorant, and we are all somehow evil, and we all drink the blood of babies in the basement of pizza parlors in New York. The only honor belongs to Trump and his supporters and we all know how spectacularly honorable Trump is.

Trump is incredibly weird, Vance is not quite as weird as he is, but he's very weird. It probably would have been better for him to just own up and admit that he and Vance are both weird, rather than deny it 11 times in that short interview. That makes him look even weirder. I don't think he knows how weird he is, I don't think he realizes how incredibly weird he and his VP pick are. How about this for wierd? Donald Trump on Thursday got a question about what he would do as president to make child care more affordable and accessible. The reporter, Saujani said that high child care costs were creating hardships and holding back economic growth, by making it difficult for many working parents ― especially working women ― to stay in the workforce. Then she asked Trump whether he’d commit to making child care a priority of his administration and, if so, what policies he would pursue. Trump started his answer by saying he “would do that,” then name-dropped his daughter Ivanka and Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.), who has talked about child care and introduced legislation he says would improve access. “It’s a very important issue,” Trump said. “But I think when you talk about the kind of numbers that I’m talking about, that — because — child care is child care ... It’s something, you have to have it in this country. You have to have it.” “But when you talk about those numbers, compared to the kind of numbers that I’m talking about by taxing foreign nations at levels that they’re not used to, but they’ll get used to it very quickly, and it’s not going to stop them from doing business with us, but they’ll have a very substantial tax when they send product into our country,” he said. “Those numbers are so much bigger than any numbers that we’re talking about, including child care, that it’s going to take care,” Trump continued. “We’re going to have — I look forward to having no deficits within a fairly short period of time, coupled with the reductions that I told you about on waste and fraud and all of the other things that are going on in our country.” Exactly how all of this was supposed help working parents find or pay for child care wasn’t clear, especially given 0widespread predictions from economists that Trump’s tariffs would actually lead to 0higher deficits and a 0weaker economy, as well as higher costs to families who would 0pay more for imported goods. “As much as child care is talked about as being expensive, it’s, relatively speaking, not very expensive compared to the kind of numbers we’ll be taking in,” Trump said on Thursday. “We’re going to make this into an incredible country that can afford to take care of its people,” Trump added ― again, without specifying how this would change child care costs. Weird. Very weird how even his policies are not policoes.

Trump's word salad answer to child care
spidermike007 replied to Mazungu's topic in Political Soapbox
He appears to be in the beginning stages of severe cognitive decline and it's a horrific thing to watch, he's an increasingly dangerous man and having him as the oldest elected president in history would not be a good thing. He rambles on and on, and it is easy to discern that he has a very hard time maintaining a thought for more than 15 seconds. He is, and has always been the master of slogans, and memes, but the public is just getting tired of the same game, day in and day out. He does not possess the creative juice to adapt, and that is absolutely killing his campaign, at this point. He is headed for the greatest humiliation of his lifetime. He's old, he's tired, he's now the oldest person to ever run for president, he's feels like he's 85 or 90 right now, he seems to be losing interest, he seems to be losing the plot, his message is getting tired, he has no ability to dance on his feet and be creative, and adapt, and he just seems to be disintegrating before our eyes, which is a beautiful thing to watch. And now, he seems to regret his choice of Vance, and seems very stressed out over Harris. Can't blame him for that. He does seem to be imploding. -

Thaksin Accused of Seeking Revenge on Military with Key Appointment
spidermike007 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
This is very likely a total charade, meant to cover up the complicity of Thaksin and the army, during his recent return. There is no question that there was a quid pro quo, between him and the army. You return, surrender your party and your soul to us, let us appoint some guys into your cabinet and the senate (pretending they were elected/legitimately selected), and we will have your back, and make sure you never serve prison time. -
‘Por the Slapper’ strikes store worker for fabricated assault
spidermike007 replied to snoop1130's topic in Isaan News
Ha. Good one. I am fairly bent and at least partially insane, but I think it's under control and I certainly do not go around slapping people. Generally speaking I show people a fair degree of respect, and I don't think that an institution would help me at all! So,I definitely meant the slapper!
