  1. She sounds like a self entitled brat. And one without much in the way of smarts, if she paid $11,000 for that ticket.
  2. He is ancient. When he was a child, Moses was parting the Red Sea. Very few want him anymore. Everyone I know who liked him and his party, have moved on after he sold his soul and the party to the army, in exchange for a return without jail time and toxic army control, yet again. Whatever credibility he may have had before, is long gone now.
  3. I tend to agree with you that she's the only choice whether or not she makes a fine president remains to be seen but it doesn't matter how bad she is there's no way she could be as bad as Trump, especially a second term of Trump.
  4. The downhill decline of the American Empire started 40 years ago and is simply continuing, regardless who gets elected. There's no way Trump is going to turn it around, especially with his protectionist import policies. If anything that's going to have the opposite effect and put a huge damper on economic growth.
  5. Thank you. Agree with most of what you stated. On a certain level it doesn't matter if it's Trump or Harris. America is still going in the same direction, nobody's ever going to make it great again, Trump failed the first time, the Biden economy is questionable, it's on the decline, and that decline is going to continue. And if you start to take into account the massive and historic correction that is coming, and that is unavoidable, whoever gets elected is going to preside over some pretty dark times. And they will likely be blamed for it though the genesis of it started a long time ago, and the enormous amount of hot air in the grossly over inflated economic balloon eventually had to be released.

  7. I completely agree with that, and I'm not taking sides. I think both sides are a freak show, and I think it's somewhat symptomatic of a nation and a culture that has been gorging on reality TV for two decades, and more recently TikTok, the most toxic social media platform ever invented. It is dumbing down the population to an extraordinary degree. America has never been dumber, in it's history.
  8. I might agree with some of what you said if she was running against anyone but Trump, but in my opinion I've never seen a bigger airhead running for office in my lifetime, and I'm including Mondale and Dukakis. I think he's a worse candidate than both of them. He is a highly skilled huckster and charlatan, and he definitely has an awful lot of people under his spell. But he is semi-senile, an old 78, a narcissistic sociopath, (look it up, he has all 10 classic qualities of one), and I believe he's melting down and he's going to lose this thing.
  9. Not at all, I lived in California during the time she was district attorney in San Francisco and attorney general in California, and I disagreed with a lot of her policies. I thought that a lot of her tough crime policies were grossly unfair, and I had a lot of issues with her. I also question how effective she was as vice president, though an argument could easily be made that very few vice presidents accomplish all that much. Having said all that, I will take anyone but Trump. So I'm happy to support her and I'm happy to vote for her, unless somebody else is selected, which looks very doubtful. I do have to give her credit, she has picked up the ball and run with it very quickly, and she has caught Trump completely off guard with his pants down around his ankles. It is really fun to watch him panicking.
  10. Well it sounds like you certainly hope not, but I think that there's a very good chance of that happening. Believe me she would not have been my first choice as a centrist democrat, but I will take her. I will take anyone over Trump. I would take Pauly Shore over Trump.
  11. For those who are in complete denial and rant on and on about Biden being a terrible president, here is a fairly accurate list of some of the things that he has accomplished I could also post a list of some of Trump's failures which I have previously. Many presidential historians are already ranking Biden's presidency as the 10th best in history, many of those same historians (hundreds of them in actuality) have ranked Trump's presidency as the 43rd worst in history. PRESIDENT BIDENS ACCOMPLISHMENTS: More People Are Working Than At Any Point in American History Managed inflation to where it is now under control & moving consistently downward Stock markets hitting all time highs & most well managed businesses are now thriving under this economy Making More in America where wages are increasing across the board Rescued the Economy and Changed the Course of the Pandemic Lowering Costs of Families’ Everyday Expenses Biden's Inflation Reduction Act will save millions of seniors money on some of the costliest prescription drugs on the market. 13. I have absolutely no doubt that when Trump loses this election, which he likely will, he will claim massive voter fraud, he will contest the election, and he won't go down without a fight. In the process he will continue to create division, he will continue to foster more hatred, and he will continue to try to create a civil war in America.
  14. Well thank you for the compliment, and we all have different points of view, don't we? Some of them are nonsense and some of them aren't. Some of that is based on opinion, some of that is based on facts.
  15. Not obsessed, but I have to admit I'm having an awful lot of fun with this, this is pure recreation, this is massive fun!
  16. Thank you, a voice of reason in the wilderness of delusion. Nobody wants Leninism, nobody wants Marxism, and it has failed everywhere it has been attempted. Equating American democrats with Marxism is something that people with very little education, or people who hate reading tend to do. My suggestion is that they try to wean themselves off extremist podcasts for at least a few days a month.
  17. I didn't say that he will bow out of the race, I just said that he will look for any excuse possible to bow out of the debate, he does not do well against strong and intelligent women, that seems to be his kryptonite. I get it, he doesn't like or respect strong, accomplished, or intelligent women, that's quite obvious from his behavior and his previous statements.
  18. There's about a 0% chance that Harris will refuse to debate Trump, she would look forward to it, she would relish it, and she would make mincemeat out of him, his lies, and his alternate reality.
  19. It doesn't matter whether it was voluntary or not, it was the right thing to do, it was a courageous thing to do, and it was a move that made me proud as an American, and made me admire and respect Biden even more than before. Very few people can say that about their GOP Master.
  20. Delusion is a very, very powerful thing, and some seem to be suffering under a massive cloud of it. Of course the terms of the debate can be renegotiate, nothing wrong with that as far as I'm concerned. You can handicap Harris as much as you want and she's still going to trash Trump and make him regret ever stepping onto that stage. With his marginal intellect he's not a difficult man to beat.
  21. There is some logic to some of what is stated here and then there is an awful lot of nonsense and an awful lot of shirking of responsibility. The sceptic will argue that anything we do could not possibly influence the climate, or effect the atmosphere. The planet is simply too large, and the population is too small to have any effect. Let the ships dump whatever they want into the ocean. The ocean is simply too large for anything we do to damage it. This frees them to buy as many plastic bottles as they please, consume plastic like mad, drive filthy diesel vehicles, and behave as if nothing effects anything. It's not us. It is just a cycle. We are not responsible! Leave us alone with our madness. It is all about the issues for me. Biden represented concern for the environment. So does Harris and the Dems. The GOP does not. His administration immediately stopped drilling, fracking and rlthe raping of national lands. All old growth lumber clearing on many of those lands ceased. That is a very big deal for me. Also, oil exploration in the Arctic, an area infinitely more difficult to protect in the event of the eventual massive spill, that will certainly happen, ceased. The recent spills have proven how unregulated and unprepared many aspects of this industry are, with regard to quality control of rigs, and spills, and the consequences of such cavalier and arrogant behavior toward the environment. The public lands are sacred to me, and the dems do a far better job of safeguarding them. Trump almost got away with selling off timber, mining, and oil rights, on tens of millions of acres of pristine wilderness. Thankfully he was blocked by the dems, and one of the first things Biden did, was to reverse the heinous and nearly catastrophic "orange stain land rape and abuse plan". Harris will likely continue to make an attempt to protect the environment, the national forests and the wilderness areas, things that Trump is against. He wants to plunder and pillage, just like in his last term.
  22. I like the fact that she did not attend a meeting with a genocidal extremist. Biden was fairly cooperative with Israel in regard to providing arms, and I would have preferred that he had been more discriminating and had put up a bit more of a fight. Hamas is a horrific organization and they need to be eliminated, but not at the cost of tens of thousands of women and children. That is cruel, that is apartheid, that is genocidal, and that's not acceptable for a nation that was founded upon the ashes of the Holocaust. However, people lacking any vision and morality, like Trump and Vance, want to rain down massive death and destruction on the Palestinians. And don't even consider calling me anti-semitic, or a Jew hater. I'm Jewish, I come from a Jewish family, and there's a lot of Jews that I'm very close to and I love many aspects of the culture. But, I question many aspects of Israeli politics, especially when it comes to extremism. And I also find the fact that Israel has the largest lobby within the US to be highly offensive, I find the fact that the US Congress and Senate have become Israel's lapdog highly offensive, and I think that when the president questions Israel, Netanyahu, and the extremists, this is a good thing for all parties concerned.
  23. Such an incredibly deceptive title to this post by someone who seems to have a tremendous aversion to truth and reality. Having an opposing point of view when it comes to politics is perfectly fine and understandable as long as things are kept civil and reasonably close to reality, this is my primary issue with the GOP. Such an astonishing aversion to truth and integrity.
  24. Anyone who takes exception with Thaksin is likely taking a moral stand of some sort, against the man who has completely sold out his party, and his people, in order to return to his country and not serve time behind bars. Kudos to Chalerm, for calling out this morally bankrupt man.
