  1. The hurdles you need to jump over, in order to get a marriage visa are stupid, ridiculous, unnecessary, draconian, wasteful, and silly. I understand the need for them to verify that you are a legitimate couple. Upon the first application. But, the dumb requirements should not relate to renewals. You should not be required to show fresh images of the house each time, copies of the marriage papers, the house documents, either come with a local Thai witness, or bring a signed affidavit from a local Thai each time, provide new maps to the house, and dozens of other requirements. I just do not even know what to say about the process. I felt like a street dog by the time I left. After hours of paperwork, copy after copy after copy, each page having to be signed, and then being grilling by the surly officer, I literally felt like a street dog. The level of disrespect that immigration shows married couples here, and foreigners in general, is totally uncalled for, beyond the pale, and inane. The copy woman, the guy sorting our papers, they were all nice. But, the officers? Such sourpusses. The woman who was helping us was so difficult to work with, when she finally rejected us over the tiniest thing she did not like, after nearly an hour of reviewing every document with a microscope, so to speak, and said no, I responded by saying yes. YES, you are going to do this. Yes, you are going to do this right now. YES, you are going to stop saying NO to me right now. This ends now. She looked at me and did not know what to say. I asked for the manager. The top brass came over, and we had it sorted in 30 minutes. Took nearly 3 hours. And as usual, it will be a month, until I have final approval. Is it worth it? NO. It is my last marriage visa. I will go back to a retirement visa next year, or leave the country, before I subject myself to that abuse one more time. I use the marriage visa, and they inevitably like to throw in something, to increase the difficulty of the process. Frankly, I think at least some of this comes from the rather extreme level of xenophobia and the toxic racism of the army and the government. It filters down throughout every level of government. I do not think they want us here. And making these procedures difficult is one way of expressing that. Fortunately, I feel very little of that sentiment from the non governmental Thai people. Right now use the retirement visa and it's so much easier having to prove I'm married every year is just not something I'm willing to do.
  2. I am a Democrat but I'm not a Harris fan and I would prefer to see somebody else, however I would pick Miley Cyrus over Trump. I would pick Pauly Shore over Trump. I would pick Shia LaBeouf over Trump. Anyone but Trump. However his pic of JD Vance as VP was a wet dream for most Democrats, he's now running at a negative 6% in polling, and I think it's only going to get worse. The man is an empty suit, he has zero charisma, and very little to say. Picking him was a monumental mistake by Trump, and listening to anything that his offspring has to say is always going to backfire. They are all subpar intellects, just like he is.
  3. Well it doesn't really mean anything when she's running against a man who could not keep his own staff at the White House, and would throw virtually everybody who resigned under the bus. We have no idea whether or not this information is correct or was planted by an extremely desperate Trump, who is running very scared at the moment. Would anyone like to take Wagers on the possibility of trump facing Harris at debate? My guess is that he will bow out as she would dissect him like a corner at an autopsy, with her additional 50 IQ points over the man.
  4. In an open and fair election where the current band of hooligans actually respected the wish of the people, Pita would be the next PM. Not Anutin, who is a charlatan and an army stooge.
  5. Thailand is no longer attracting very many Western tourists for a dozen very good reasons. Right now it is predominantly Malaysian, Indian, Arab, Chinese, and Russian. One could argue that these are relatively low quality tourists, in terms of the amounts of money that they spend. Sure you have a few wealthy Russians and some wealthy Chinese, but most are lower to middle income and don't spend alot. This process will not be reversed until the authorities wake up and make some sacrifices such as lowering luxury taxes, lowering wine taxes, cleaning up the air, making the highways safer, allowing more private air travel, helicopter travel, high-speed trains and alternatives to the totally choked and extremely hazardous highways. And now they have invited in the Bratva, by opening up the country to all Russians. Quantity over quality only works if you are selling $2 items at a swap meet. Dumb and dumber.
  6. Well nobody can argue about the well-educated part, however you can dress a pig in a mink coat and it's still going to be a pig. The reality is that his children are dim and no amount of denial is ever going to change that. Just listen to virtually any quote that any of his children have ever made for proof of that. Eric Trump Quotes You see these terrorists that are flying planes into buildings, right? You see our cities getting shot up in California. You see Paris getting shot up. And then somebody complains when a terrorist gets waterboarded, which quite frankly is no different than what happens on college campuses and frat houses every day. Eric Trump As the number of deaths caused by the virus on his father’s watch surpassed 83,000, Eric took to the airwaves to claim “Biden loves” the pandemic because it stopped the Trump campaign from holding rallies. “You watch – they'll milk it every single day between now and [election day] November 3rd, and guess what? After November 3rd coronavirus will magically all of a sudden go away and disappear and everybody will be able to reopen,” he told Fox News on 16 May. As some churches fought to hold face-to-face congregations during the pandemic, Eric told a North Dakota radio station: “He literally saved Christianity, there's a war on faith in this country by the other side.” “The Democratic Party, the far left, has become the party of the ‘atheist’, they want to attack Christianity, they want to close churches,” he added. “They’re totally fine keeping liquor stores open, but they want to close churches all over the country.” What can one even say? Trump sure knows how to create dunces for offspring.
  7. Claiming that this digital wallet scheme will boost the economy here shows the level of desperation and the lack of ideas when it comes to economic policy, that this insipid and incompetent administration is saddled with. Trying to stimulate the economy with this digital wallet is a bit like trying to boost the new car industry by purchasing a dozen cars.
  8. Trump is scared, he is very very scared. He will likely not participate in a debate as he is outclassed by 50 to 60 IQ points by the new democratic selection. She would make mincemeat out of him, and would dissect him like a corner at an autopsy. They will try any trick in the book at this point to get an advantage, and they will play dirty as usual that's simply to be expected.
  9. Many years ago I had that same flight booked from Kathmandu to Pokhara and they informed us an hour before the flight that they couldn't fly, because they had engine malfunctions that they had not been able to diagnose. Flying in Nepal seems to be a very risky endeavor.
  10. Can you imagine listening to one of Trump's offspring for advice? It would be a bit like asking Miley Cyrus to help negotiate peace in the Middle East. Vance seems like one of those guys with a talent of switching sides, pandering to whoever is elevating him to another level professionally, and a man who is completely lacking in moral conviction, which actually makes him a really great fit for Trump, but would not necessarily help him on any level to get elected. his son probably recommended him because of his relative youth and because the Hillbilly Elegy was such a hit.
  11. This strikes me as a completely ridiculous survey, if anything Thailand has been made more dangerous by the OAOL (open arms, open legs) policy of the administration towards Russians and the subsequent arrival of the Bratva. In general Thailand's very safe, even in big cities like Bangkok, and in the decades that I've been visiting Thailand I have never had an incident. A city like Los Angeles is infinitely more dangerous.
  12. Still far too much red tape for a lot of foreign firms that are looking to invest in the region, in addition to massive issues with corruption, and incredibly inefficient and inconsistent administrations, that cannot be counted on. Plus a sluggish local economy, and regressive policy, in addition to the constant threat of army takeovers or toxic army influence over super corrupt senators and politics. Not to mention the influence of the elites and other powerful people who do not have the interests of the people at heart. I could go on and on all day.
  13. Though it's a great concept, in the US in alot of areas "farm to table" and "locally sourced" is an excuse to charge 30 to 100% more than nearby restaurants that are serving comparable quality food, but not marketing the bejesus out of the concept.
  14. They likely just needed to discuss aspects of the takeover, and the surrender to the army, and all the implications of completely selling out the PT.
  15. Very hard to say. I have never been a big vax guy, I've always trusted in my immune system, and I managed to get covid regardless of the vaccine. Fortunately it was a later variant, which was very similar to a cold. However I can tell you that the only reason I got the vaccine was so I could travel in and out of the country, and in the future I would likely think twice if it wasn't required.
  16. And they all have a story. Always fun to have a friend go on and on about getting with a bar girl who has only been working for a week, has never done sex work before, and is fresh from the farm. I can only chuckle. Many are coached, and know exactly what we want to hear. I actually admire the beautiful, young ones who tell you they have been working at a short time massage place for 3 years. OK. Now we know. 1,000 customers and up. We call that ATW. Around the world.
  17. Though I agree with you marginally, I do believe the FDA, the CDC, and the WHO were deeply influenced by Big Pharma, and there were alot of other factors at okay, as well as some less than sincere agendas.
  18. Man, oh man, talk about missing the point of the message.
  19. During the covid debacle I asked several family members and close friends if they thought there was any chance at all that the narrative that we were being fed was not entirely correct. Nearly every single one of them called me a conspiracy theorist and said that I was always feeling this need to question things, as if that was a bad thing.
  20. Some men see the wisdom in doing so, I do it very rarely. I find that I get just as much satisfaction if not more, from avoiding ejaculation most of the time. I think once you get past the age of 50 the cost of doing so rises significantly, in terms of energy, focus, concentration and general health and well-being. The Hindus have been teaching about this for thousands of years, but the West is fairly ignorant about it.
  21. It's not just the automobile industry that will remain sluggish, it's the economy in general. Stock markets will drop, home prices will drop, and in general we are going to see a massive correction worldwide. You can only kick the can down the road for so long, when it comes to hugely irresponsible economic policy, and finally you have to pay the piper.
  22. The government is reluctant to truly admit just how sluggish the economy is here. We know new car and used car sales are down, we know home and condo sales are down, we know manufacturing is down, exports are down, foreign investment is down, and now we know motorcycle sales are down too. It's a combination of 9 years of the Prayuth Decimation along with a do-nothing PM, with no economic strategy.
  23. He looks like a full grown man, he smells like an adult, but it appears that he's only 13! He is stunted, he never grew up and never developed emotionally. I have a manchild living next door who does whatever he wants, says whatever he wants, and acts out whenever he wants. Okay I guess it's time to take things into my own hands, let me round up the neighbors and show him that his tactics have an expiration date.
  24. Let me see, which way is the wind blowing today? What are my masters asking for today? What does the elite and the super toxic mega rich want? Okay, now I have a sense of political direction. My name is Srettha.
  25. He has been fooling the world since he was a teenager, that is what he does, he likely practiced on his grandmother, and then just continued from there. At a given point in time he probably said to himself you know something I could probably make a fortune just fooling the world. I'm really good at it. And he continues to this day with his supporters, the whole thing is one giant deception.
