  1. Well you certainly wouldn't want to tempt the locals into thinking that maybe they have an alternative to a low paying job in Thailand.
  2. No. I believe in common sense. When the economy gets over heated to the degree it has been, it corrects. Also, I believe in cycles. We have had a serious correction once entry 15 years or so, for the past century. Are you a believer in denial?
  3. A very smart prosecutor, vs. a very dull convicted felon. Has a nice ring to it. Trump will do anything in his power to avoid any direct confrontations with her, as she will clean his clock, with those extra 50 IQ points, over the dullard.
  4. They don't, it's just a tiny percentage (likely under 1%) who like the financial security that a foreigner can offer, most Thai women prefer Thai men.
  5. Just end the war on drugs. It has failed worldwide. And stop the backwards movement. Thailand needs progress, not regression.
  6. The prosecutor likely has 50-60 IQ points over the felon. That would make for a great debate, if he can muster up the courage for it. Doubt he will. She would call him out and dissect him like a cold hearted coroner.
  7. There are some challenges that are unique to the EV market, but in general both new and used car sales are way down here and also in the US right now. Just wait, this is likely only the beginning. You can only pump so much hot air into a balloon before it starts showing some stress fractures and that's what we are about to see.
  8. I would change the headline to China's growing worldwide ambitions pose huge challenges, there's no stomping these guys they want a complete takeover of the planet let us hope that never happens.
  9. There's a 0% chance of Hillary becoming the nominee, number one she's too old, number two she was the worst candidate since Dukakis and Mondale. So, she's been put out to pasture for a dozen good reasons.
  10. What a bizarre act of desperation. The only silver lining in all this is that the nut job killed himself, saves the court from having to sentence him, and unfortunately since the death penalty is not really an option, as I've stated before I think there are certain acts that one commits that are essentially self revocation of the right to consume oxygen. I would go a step further and I would say that a trial with a panel of three judges conducted within 30 days examining all the evidence and then pronouncing a quick death sentence to be carried out within 30 days, with no possibility of appeal, would be appropriate when it comes to a crime this heinous.
  11. I said 2nd worst. They say 3rd worst. Definitely at the bottom of the heap. President Donald Trump is the third-worst president overall, according to U.S. News’ most recent rankings. https://www.usnews.com/news/special-reports/the-worst-presidents/articles/ranking-americas-worst-presidents
  12. I used to like Pete until the airlines took the tens of billions of dollars in Covid relief money and started jacking up airfares at unprecedented levels post-covid. I thought he really failed at standing up to the airlines and I kind of lost faith in him at this point. I like all three of the pics that Clyburn points out, and I think it would be a real mistake for her to select another woman. We don't need a two woman ticket, one woman is enough.
  13. My niece is a political science professor at a University in the US, and she said that hundreds of experts across the board have labeled Trump's presidency as being the 43rd worst in history, and there's a fairly unanimous consensus that Biden's presidency has been the 10th best. We all know Trump lives in a self-made fantasyland, and this is further proof of that.
  14. This is beyond totally bizarre, nobody that I've spoken to since the man was elected seems to like him, nobody that I've spoken to since the man was elected seems to think that he's done a good job. So where are they pulling these numbers out of besides just a mysterious hat? Sometimes one sees and reads absolute nonsense, BS and tripe, and has to acknowledge it as being nothing but that. He is a do nothing PM.
  15. Here is what Trump has done for America!: Only 13 Presidents failed to get re-elected. Only 5 Presidents failed to win the popular vote. Only 4 Presidents have been impeached or resigned. Only 1 President has ever been criminally indicted. And only ONE President has done ALL FOUR. - DJT didn't lower taxes (He deferred them) - He didn't get Americans that healthcare coverage - He did not unite the USA, he divided it - He didn't lower prescription drug prices - He didn't get roads or bridges built He didn't decrease the deficit - He didn't end the opioid crisis - He made over 250 visits to his golf clubs costing us taxpayers $150 million - He didn't revive the coal industry - He didn't make covid-19 'disappear' He didn't make Mexico pay for the wall He is ranked the worst President in history He added $2 Billion a month in tariff costs to the American consumer He has a net-negative jobs creations for his administration He decreased corporate taxes, passing the tax burden to the workers He added $ 7.8 Trillion to the deficit - a full 25% of the total deficit He incited an insurrection against our government He is the only president to never achieve 50% approval. He didn't put "America first" and he sure didn't "Drain the Swamp... He left office with the worst job numbers of any President since the Great Depression with a net job loss over his term He is the first former president to be a CONVICTED FELON (34 times). The presidency is very much about character. Trump is a lowlife convicted felon.
  16. Now we can get onto the business of beating Trump. I am not a huge fan of Harris, but I would take Taylor Swift over Trump. And the advantage Harris has, is that she is articulate rather than rambling, focused rather than incoherent, and smart rather than dull, and semi senile. Trump is now the oldest candidate in history, and he is far too old and feeble. She has 50-60 IQ points on him, which means she should be able to dissect him like a coroner in a debate. Though it is very likely Trump knows that and will not have the courage to debate her. With a good VP candidate like Shapiro, it will be a formidable team. Two coherent and smart folks, against two idealogues. It is going to get interesting.

  18. Does anyone want to guess who these certain camps are? Would anybody wager that it's the spectacularly toxic and corrupt army, along with a few very elite, filthy rich power brokers?
  19. And from your point of view that's not the case with the GOP and Trump? Really?
  20. Have you heard some of Vance's rants? He wants to light up the Middle East. It will result in decades of warfare and blowback. Trump is dangerous. Biden has supported Israel, but Trump would be an obedient lapdog.
  21. I really don't like her much because of her history when I lived in California, as district attorney and attorney general, but there's no question that she beats Trump by at least 50 points on the IQ scale, and she will dissect him like a coroner in a debate.
  22. The political simpletons like JD Vance who advocate all out war to solve a problem, don't have enough vision to understand the concept of blowback, and to realize that if Israel were to escalate the massacre, it would simply lead to decades upon decades of blowback, and significantly increased levels of terrorism in the region.
  23. Well one can argue that any politician at the national level, nearly anywhere in the world is a crook and a liar. So it's not as if Trump would be an exception to the rule, the difference being that he takes it to a whole different level, in that he spent his entire career using crime, theft, and scams to become very wealthy. It is far easier in this life to become wealthy if you abandon all sense of truth, righteousness, and morality. Which is what Trump has done.
  24. I think we have to at least try to make an effort to maintain some standards when it comes to ideas about posts on this forum. This is certainly one of the most trite and silly that I've seen in quite some time, and the real question that comes to mind is why would anyone want to be friendly with someone who was intolerant of someone who didn't drink black coffee? Ask yourself that. Intolerance of habits of friends is so uppealing.
  25. Not even close. She is in the top 17 million, maybe. Camila Morrone, maybe. Emily Ratajkowski, Jung Ho-yeon, Sila Turkoglu, Deepika Padukone, Bae Suzy, so many others. We must maintain strict standards, or else it means nothing. Those who cite women like Jennifer Lawrence, Emma Watson, Scarlette Johansson, Zendaya, Taylor Swift, Anjelina Jolie, Gal Gadot, etc. are using loose standards. They may be appealing, but most beautiful? Please.
