  1. Good on pops for giving this guy a good beat down, he certainly deserved it. You don't just show up in a young woman's room uninvited. Glad to hear that he didn't get very far, perhaps he will think twice next time, and pursue only women who are interested in him. Or is that just beyond this mental midgets capacity?
  2. Herbal therapies can be very effective. I'm a big believer in them and I've used them on multiple occasions and they've been very effective remedies. However when you're talking about particulate matter and pollution getting into the lungs let us not forget the origins of the problem. While herbal therapy might be of some benefit, closing down the sugar refineries would be a greater benefit, or having the Air Force do practice runs by bombing the sugar refineries would be an even greater benefit. Just make sure none of the employers are there when they drop the bombs. Fining the sugar growers for burning would also be a benefit. In other words, enforce the laws that are already on the books and stop obfuscating and deflecting and avoiding a solution, while protecting your super rich patrons, who are the culprits and criminals.
  3. Whoa, talk about jingoism. Jihad lover, that's a new one, I've heard Jew hater, I've heard anti-Semitic, but Jihad lover? Wow. Such intellectual creativity and originality, keep it up. I get called all kinds of names too as it's really not permissible to be critical of Israeli policy these days. At least without being called a surly and juvenile name.
  4. The Army soldier who was reported to stand post at the door to his 390 meter army mansion, typically reserved for a general, says the Thaksin has been an exemplary prisoner.
  5. Not to mention getting the party that you were the "spiritual leader" of to completely sacrifice any sense of morality, ethics, principles, or representation of the people by jumping in bed with a highly toxic Army.
  6. I try to have some fun with these fools. I just simply tell them that they need to get a job, and trying to steal other people's money is not working for a living. I also ask them who their mother is, and why she was such an extraordinary failure at raising her child. That usually makes them go away.
  7. The third alternative would have been to just give one of the immigration officials a bribe, and they would have produced bank statements for you and it would have been a fully official visa. Sounds like a lot less work to me.
  8. Well sometimes they're mistake is wearing white in New York City after Labor Day, and sometimes a mistake is invading Russia without any preparations for an oncoming winter. There is no doubt that Arafat made a huge mistake by not accepting that two state solution, it was a historic blunder.
  9. Happy to see this kind of thing in the news, my guess is that there are countless Chinese scams going on and a lot of them are likely sponsored by the CCP. The Chinese government is up to no good and they probably have agents working around the world trying to sow chaos and earn cash.
  10. Most soi dogs are a nuisance. Most are mangy, some are disease ridden, many are hungry, tired, and lead terrible lives of desperation. Some attack people, some terrorize neighborhoods. Many harass the domestic dogs, and cause them to bark all night long, like in my neighborhood. Nobody wants to do anything about it. Culling is the answer. If they found a budget for it, they could do it Western style. Round up the dogs, clean them up, vaccinate them, and put them up for adoption. The ones who are not adopted after 60 days are simply put down. Nothing cruel about it. Not doing something like this, is both cruel to the dogs and to the neighborhoods they infest. The average dog bite cost alot money. A series of rabies shots, etc. And that is assuming someone was not hurt badly, like a small child. So, we should prioritize the health of mangy, miserable soi dogs over the well being of the human population?
  11. It doesn't really look like anything's changed, they've always required valid ID to board a flight. I've always used my driver's license so what's changed? I'm still not going to carry my passport, I never carry my original passport unless I'm leaving the country or going to immigration. Not going to start now.
  12. When PT abandoned all sense of morality and ethics, and jumped in bed with the extremely toxic and foul army, condoning them becoming part of the current administration, yet again, we all knew this was going to happen. We all knew a bargain was struck, we all knew that justice, righteousness, and the will of the people were all abandoned for the sake of power. That bargain likely included the return of Yingluck too. I don't know necessarily have a problem with that as you can make an argument that the charges were trumped up to begin with, but for the sake of transparency let's at least be honest about this.
  13. It is the nature and extent of the response that the world is opposed to, more than 10,000 children have been killed so far, there's no proportionality between what Hamas did and what Israel is currently doing, and to many it seems like Israel's intent is to completely obliterate Gaza from the face of the map.
  14. I would have a lot more respect for the RTP if they actually did some work, and the same applies to the highway patrol. Both seem to utterly refuse to engage in anything related to Traffic Safety or accident prevention on the highways.
  15. And there are so many things the authorities could be doing if they cared one iota. With the multitude of Sretta promises and declarations about air quality, absolutely nothing is being done. Nothing's is being done to punish the sugar refiners who are the major culprits, nothing is being done to punish the sugar farmers who are also major culprits. Nothing is being done by the do-nothing administration and Mr. Do Nothing. Sretta.
  16. Have you ever tried to get from Gaza into Israel? It is up to a 4-hour wait behind a huge fence with heavily armed soldiers. Many Gazan people who work in Israel spend up to 6 or 8 hours a day going back and forth dealing with the security apparatus.
  17. Have you noticed the disparity between the value of air miles when it comes to upgrading, and the cost of air miles if you were to buy those same miles from the same airline? It's ridiculous, why do air miles have to be a profit center for these airlines? That feels abusive to me.
  18. And why would you trust a murderous zealot like Netanyahu, who is allied with some of the most extremist and hateful politicians within government, in the history of Israel?
  19. While I agree it was two decades ago when I stopped smoking I was getting top grade hydroponic from British Columbia, and it is probably on the level of the stuff that is commercially available now. Some buds were one ounce. It was gorgeous stuff, but very powerful and it just got tiring being that out of it.
  20. Probably a good idea to keep the Israeli government out of it, since they've failed at everything related to the Palestinians and Gaza since 1948.
  21. If the Air Force used their resources to bomb every sugar processing plant in the country, then things might start to change and we might start seeing some cleaner air. Until drastic action is taken to curtail the sugar industry and make these culprits behave, nothing is going to change.
  22. I wonder where these people who are saving the money on diesel are going to spend all this newfound wealth? Perhaps it will enable them to buy an extra bowl of soup?
  23. So far this appears to be a highly selective process that is only applicable to a minuscule percentage of the rural and agricultural land in Thailand. Though this is likely to be beneficial to the landowners, my guess is that there is some ulterior motive, perhaps in the form of increasing the tax base, and eventually collecting land tax.
  24. Thailand has embraced the fact that it's a tourist destination, and it has invited people from all over the world to come and visit. So what on earth do they expect? Is every foreigner expected to behave like a Thai the entire time they're in Thailand? And what on earth is the issue with two women in bikinis in a park? How is that considered controversial on any level? What is wrong with sunbathing, it's not like two people are found having sex out in the public. It is two women in bikinis. Talk about making a mountain out of a molehill, talk about fabricating something for the sake of victimhood, talk about a nothing burger. This is so ridiculous it borders on puerile and insanity. Is Thailand the new Saudi Arabia?
  25. The issue with EVA is that the mileage expires far earlier than they should. There's no reason why they shouldn't give you many years for miles that you've earned. Also beware if you're planning on using miles for an upgrade does not apply to the basic fares, which cannot be upgraded, it only applies to the standard fares, which are typically quite a bit higher. Otherwise EVA's a great airline, I use the most of the time.
