  1. It should happen. Around the world, much is learned from mistakes made. But, in order to learn from mistakes, you have to be man enough to take responsibility for them, and courageous enough to learn and progress. Basic stuff. Face, rank, title and family name here often get in the way of progress and forward movement.
  2. If we refer to them as Keystone cops, it is a titled well earned, and highly deserved. It is rarely about law enforcement with these guys, and usually about revenue collection, and working the franchise. So, they ask why we have no respect for them? Simple. Do some actual law enforcement work, traffic safety work, and stop obsessing over the next condo or villa purchase, bought will ill gotten gains, and we might decide to show you modest respect. OK guys? Does anyone wonder if this shooting had anything to do with "competing factions"?
  3. This is a truly pathetic and likely avoidable tragedy. Admiral Choengchai Chomchoengpaet, the head of the navy, the vice admiral, and the captain of the ship should all be fired and court martialed for malfeasance. The lack of life preservers was so mickey mouse, such bad form and unforgivable. It is the responsibility of the captain, to make sure a navy boat is safe, before it leaves port. This is a crime against his soldiers, who depend on him with their lives. It is very possible many of these young men could have survived with that equipment. Lock all 3 of these Navy brass creeps up. The pain they have caused to what will likely turn out to be over 30 families of the navy men is unspeakable. Someone should pay for this dearly. And it is likely none of the brass will ever take responsibility for this. They are not man enough.
  4. This worm deserves to spend the remainder of his pathetic life in as much pain as possible. Whatever it takes to make him suffer, is a good thing for humanity. The pain he inflicted on countless victims and their families is unspeakable. He does not deserve the oxygen he consumes.
  5. Such gross malfeasance. Perhaps the parents of the drowned soldiers should have some alone time with the captain of this sorry ship.
  6. There is no question that the authorities and government here are completely lost in space. When you are bested by a commie regime, you know you have fallen far, and gone backwards. Prayuth. Mr. Backwards movement.
  7. The quality of a Blu ray seems to be lower than the average 1080p file I download. So, why bother? I have over 1,000 dvd's and don't know what to do with them. I never watch them anymore. They are a thing of the past. Like eight tracks and cassettes.
  8. These days, they are less and less conscious, than ever. Especially big corporations, who behave like real swine.
  9. While all that is true, they sure would have had a better chance with life jackets. Someone really dropped the ball, and what do you want to bet the top brass pays nothing in the way of demotion, or a court martial for this gross malfeasance?
  10. Yes that is a pre-requisite. Then there’s the sea. Fifth-year cadet Saisuwan, 23, from Chonburi applied because he loves it. He’d better. Cadets become certified SCUBA divers during third year – but that’s fun. The annual training cruises on one of the Navy’s nearly 200 vessels are not. "It’s for 45 days, there’s always something to do" (read hard work), says second-year cadet "Johnny". http://www.rtna.ac.th/eng/pages/inside.html

  12. Yes, likely bored, or possessed of such a degree of hubris, that he felt he was invincible. And obviously pathologically insane to boot. He needs to die. ASAP.
  13. They were all good swimmers. That is a pre-requisite of any navy man. That was not the issue. Swimming in 10 foot seas, with gusting wind can bring down alot of experienced swimmers. The life preservers, or lack of, is the real issue here, and the real crime here. Heads need to roll.

  15. Alcohol is far worse. I smoked ganga alot as a kid. Also did alot of hallucinogenics, speed, and more. I turned out OK. Likely lost some brain cells along the way. But, alcohol kills. And it is not being discussed.
  16. Take him out. Now. Today. He deserves that. The horrors he inflicted on countless families are unspeakable. No forgiveness. No mercy. No compassion. Only death, or a great deal of pain and suffering, is what he deserves.
  17. I agree. I was simply saying his prediction on the economy next year was foolhardy at best, and highly ignorant at worst.
  18. BOT Assistant Governor Piti Disyatat is lost in space. There are a dozen variables. A worldwide recession, lower tourist spending, the effect increased rates will have on the economy. The list goes on and on. Predicting this is like predicting the lottery results. Absolute nonsense.
  19. The only fair and reasonable sentence for guys like this would be execution. No big deal. Just taken out with a bullet to the head. Everyone benefits. Does anyone think this insect will behave himself now?
  20. Just another example of a very misguided bunch of goons, not making the nation safer. And what is up with the ridiculous purple ribbons? Do they even get how silly it all looks?
  21. Thank you. Exactly my experience and that of the vast majority I know who got covid omi. It is getting weaker and wimpier. That begs a very deep psychological question. Why would so many choose to believe the worst is yet to come, despite all the evidence to the contrary? Is this some deep seated need for panic and drama? I am not buying into the nonsense.
  22. Well, that article from 18 months ago, has certainly proved to be highly inaccurate when it comes to covid. Omicron was the best thing to happen to us. It is wimp covid.
  23. Pure speculation, of the alarmist and dramatic variety. We just don't know. And this variant is mild. I think the chances of it fading are at least as great as your dire predictions.
  24. Now, that is not only alarmist and engaging in total science denial, but it is absolute fear mongering. In the US, cases are way down. 33,000 yesterday, with under 300 fatalities, according to USA Facts. Same in Thailand. Worldwide? 330,000 cases with only 474 fatalities according to worldometer. It is receding. China may be the exception. Their zero covid policy was the height of ignorance. The good news is the percent who die is infinitely lower with each subsequent variant. This is not the Zombie Apocalypse. Stop the fear, paranoia, and nonsense, please.
  25. I am told ferries have resumed service. Does anyone have any information to the contrary? The weather is fine now.
