Prayut’s Chances Of Prolonging Rule Getting Slim: Academic
spidermike007 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
I focus alot on the glass being half full in my private life. Never, when it comes to the leadership here, who have failed the people on countless levels. P. S - Prayuth appreciates you being one of several dozen remaining supporters. -
They are mostly private in the US. And I don't see that happening here. These guys are not serious enough. However, the Biden administration has allocated billions of dollars across the 50 states and Puerto Rico to help develop the infrastructure to fuel electric vehicles.

Musk sets up Twitter poll asking if he should step down as head

YES! You have been and continue to be a walking disaster. Go back to selling cars, so the shareholders can regain their losses. You seem to be far more talented at the EV market, than the tweet market. -
Give Thailand 10 years or so, to prove they are serious about EV's and that they will spend the money on charging stations. In the meantime, say no to Elon!

PayPal can be used in Thailand, without many difficulties. But, the account has to be set up in your home country. I use it here all the time. Have a business debit card where I can pay or withdraw funds. People can pay me from anywhere. But, it was set up in the US, and it is linked to US bank accounts.

People To Rise Up Against Senators-Picked PM: Thanathorn
spidermike007 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
The man who was banned due to his popularity, and the dinosaur's pathological fear of the youth movement, has something to say, and should be listened to. I have no idea why the people are not rising up at this time. Have they been cowed into submission. -
To think that this man, who possesses absolutely nothing in the way of leadership ability, said he only wanted to be a caretaker PM for 2 years. And now the power has created such thirst, such desperation, such megalomania, and such greed, that he cannot let it go. How power can transform a man. Not to mention the fortune one at the top of the TPPS (Thai power pyramid scheme) can earn.

Prayut’s Chances Of Prolonging Rule Getting Slim: Academic

I am very fortunate as I am still here. No place else I would rather be. Especially Europe or the US. I am one of the proud escapees. -

Prayut’s Chances Of Prolonging Rule Getting Slim: Academic

Prayuth, Anutin and Phiphat could not have done a better job of sabotaging a vital industry, if they were actually trying to do so. If anyone did not see the reasons to oust these guys before, the vaccination drive alone is all the indictment the nation needs. No question, with the exception of some infrastructure, Thailand has been moving backwards for the past decade. On nearly every level. It did have a good run. Those days are behind it. So much self sabotage has been inflicted on this rather resilient nation, it would be a near impossibility for it to pull itself out of the abyss, shake off the molasses, and move forward. A very dynamic leader like Thanathorn would at least give the nation a chance at having a future. The current creeps do not. Japanese companies are relocating. Despite the constant lies, foreign investment is way down. Tourism is all but finished. I understand why nearly a million youth are on FB, trying to figure out a way out. The future must look very bleak to them. For many of us, who are fortunate enough to not have a business here, things are simpler, and less complicated. All we have to do is deal with the continuous daily drivel of these goons in charge. This will likely be a two to five year shake out. The financial devastation to the economy is bad. And it will be sustained. Massive unemployment. Millions are out of work. -

Was she wearing the best helmet she could afford? Or any helmet at all? Was she an experienced rider? If riding a motorbike here, treat the activity as an act of war, in a sense that you may be mowed down or killed at any moment. Maintain eyes in the back of your head. Watch everyone. Expect craziness, insanity, lack of reason, and a complete lack of courtesy and respect on the roads, at all times. Expect cars and trucks to be coming at you in the wrong lane. Expect people to overtake you with the slimmest of margins. Expect trucks to be driving very slowly in the fast lane of a highway. If riding a motorbike, only do so if you have many years of experience. Especially on the southern islands, where huge numbers of foreigners leave Thailand in a wooden box. Drive like a grandmother. This applies to ex-pats too. Bring along an international drivers license. This helps you to avoid being fleeced by the local police franchisee. -

Well, we may be not know who they all are, but we sure know what they all are. -
Never been fooled by that. Name a few billionaires who are truly decent people, and possess at least some morality. Ted Turner is one of the only ones I can think of. He is doing alot of good work with his land management, and does not seem to be the slightest bit interested in increasing his fortune, at a cost to humanity. Quite the opposite of Musk, Bezos, the Koch Brothers, Trump, and countless others.

The great man appears to be quite sensitive to criticism and willing to engage in censorship, after claiming he would not. It is obvious his wealth has gotten to his head and he is not wearing his power lightly or with grace. Meanwhile his share holders at Tesla are revolting, as the stock has dropped more than 60%, and he appears to have lost interest in management of the company. Additionally many owners and investors are finding the brand increasingly toxic, due to his continued, unhinged ranting on Twitter. He appears to be losing the plot.

Deputy PM Endorses Massive Plan to Combat Flooding and Drought

While the increased reservoir capacity will help with the floods, the modified Hopi rain dances with help with the drought. -
Hey Vlad. We all know you are very self conscious of your lack of height. And that may be a contributing factor to your level of meanness, nastiness, warmongering, and dissatisfaction with your self and your life. But, that is no excuse for your bullying. Many bullies meet a cruel end. We can only hope.
