  1. Because after 4 months of mask wearing everywhere in Thailand, I had 2 weeks of freedom not wearing a mask in Aus. Not having to wear a mask felt special, whereas it should be normal, so putting one back on did not feel good I won't be wearing a mask ever again, so maybe I'll be back to thailand next year (or not if I fall in love with Vietnam)
  2. Except at 7/11, I've seen many being yelled at for not wearing a mask or not doing temp check ????
  3. I wore a mask in Thailand for 4 months, all it did for me was make me drink more as I didn't have to wear a mask in bars Now back in Aus I had to wear a mask in the Doctors clinic. I lasted 20 minutes and left as I couldn't stand having the mask on...mild form of PTSD?
  4. Have you ever lived in a Thai condo...here's a hint, you sit on your balcony having a coffee or beer, you can see everyone else that goes on their balcony, no staring required...
  5. It's like they desperately want to have a monkeypox case. A tourist transiting has been confirmed, how would they know as they can't even diagnose cases within Thailand (yep Herpes must be so similar) Also, I read primary transmission is through sex, why are all the flight crew quarantined?
  6. Did authorities ever have the plot to lose?
  7. OP was very clear, what documents are required for Wife to submit TM30. Why do you need all the other info?
  8. Maybe that's because China doesn't let their citizens leave the country....
  9. TM30 form where she adds your details as a guest. Copy of her ID and something with her name on it for the address (yellow book, condo chanote, lease agreement), copy of your passport, entry stamp and TM6 arrival card (note you have 72 hours after arrival to do TM30 or they can fine you)
  10. I don't know why they need to improve. I got a Thai Pass with no insurance and no one night quarantine hotel booking back in January...can't be easier than that lol Uploaded email asking for hotel and uploaded vax certificate in insurance slot Note: Once Thai Pass was approved, I did book quarantine hotel and insurance to show airline at check in
  11. What about the Marijuana Gummi bears, can we please have those...or maybe spacecakes like in Amsterdam although I think that's hash?
  12. Sounds about right. My Thai neighbour was wearing her mask on her balcony while doing her laundry all alone in her condo
  13. Here's a thread that also confirms what I said, plus last post has a link to all the insurance options
  14. I just stayed 4 months in Thailand, I had 30 days covid insurance on entry. The Thai visa forum is full of people saying 30 days covid insurance was enough
  15. You only have to buy 30 days covid insurance, if asked tell them you're only staying that long (then stay as long as you like)
  16. But not everyone knows about the useless 650 baht insurance that is only activated if you get a PCR test...others pay over 3000 baht for 30 days thailand special covid insurance
  17. I always use this site which gives the daily TT rate on the street https://m.facebook.com/ttexchange/posts/?ref=page_internal&mt_nav=0
  18. Thailand Pass is required to force you to get the scam covid insurance, that's what you're missing
  19. So it's mandated for me to wear a mask on the 600 metre walk from my Condo to my favourite bar, even though I don't go within 10 metres of someone, but then I'm free to mingle maskless with 50 others for hours of drinking and fun...yep, sounds like Thailand common sense
  20. Yep, I'm not going back to Thailand until they drop the mandatory scam insurance and mandatory face masks, required even on an empty beach 200m from the nearest person Vietnam in July-August is where I'll be spending my money. No pretend restuarant-bars there
  21. What weak baht? Aussie $ is barely getting 24 baht now, was over 25 last month
  22. You really have lost it. I gave my advice that I had no problems with deckchairs, how would I know if anyone else did. I've also never paid my padded bar bill, where did this come from? You seem like a pyscho making stuff up in your head...
  23. Wow, I post "I've been using Pattaya deck chairs for 14 years, never had a problem" and get that response. It's pretty neutral actually and simply means I've never had a problem. You make it sound like I said they were all magical beings treating us tourists like gods Proof that you've lost the plot and should probably leave Pattaya as soon as possible
  24. Right back at you As another member said, it's important that false and misleading, and overly negative posts such as yours are debated, otherwise you distort what is actually happening on the ground here.
  25. I've been using Pattaya deck chairs for 14 years, never had a problem Typical doom & gloom everybody hates me post from you
