  1. The BiB are often guilty of a lot of things, I find that when on the bike, without a helmet the roadblocks are for yabba dealers, when I’m out on the big bike with a loud pipe they might want to see a license, but often flipping the visor up will get me a pass (this has worked at roadblocks around Hat Yai to Hua Hin, in Hua Hin they want to see a license), and when out in the truck, they correctly presume that westerners have licenses and insurance, they check the road tax and give me a salute. Others experience may be different, especially in tourist areas but generally they don’t care.
  2. Keep an eye out for S11 of C4's 24 Hours in Police Custody the first episode (maybe a one off speaial) is called the siege, which aired last night.
  3. It must have been some keen uploader, the pack was deleted shortly after. I had some difficulty connnecting to iplayer before the weekend, everything seems good now. Sometimes I need to clear the browser cache and it's fine, sometimes I need to reboot the computer. I dont think you need to worry about the BBC tech guys, but there was defiantly something up, I know your DNS provider is good, (as I suggested it to you :) ) and I use PIA which I always rave about, just a little hiccup, happens sometimes. The wife is a bit of Liam Neeson fan, we watched In The Land Of Saints & Sinners last night. It got a 7.2 on IMDB so just about sneaked in there. I thought it was interesting, I liked the sets, Ireland in the 70s, the storyline was a bit predictable, the casting good - lots of the usual suspects when it comes to series / movies. There are no subtitles, but I let the wife just watch it anyway, she kept focus for the duration even tho' she hadn't a clue what was being said.
  4. Are you sorted yet? The whole series packs are available. All 6 episodes.
  5. We watched an Australian movie last night - Talk To Me Not really my thing, but the missus loved it - if you want a straightforward scary / ghost movie to watch with a Thai partner, not a bad choice.
  6. yes, I have a couple of proton accounts - I use one on my iPhone, in theory the app works well, but as you say, you get emails nagging you to buy the service. Then you need to subscribe to use their email bridge allowing you to use a mail client.
  7. Oh I see! One thing that I never did like about this series - the two hour episodes. I got bored and fell asleep in the middle. There were originally 4 episodes, CH4 split them in two. # Title Air Date Status 4 Old acquaintances Apr 20 2023 WEBDL-1080p 3 Points of view Apr 15 2023 WEBDL-1080p 2 Who leaves and who stays Apr 13 2023 WEBDL-1080p 1 The journey continues Apr 6 2023 WEBDL-1080p I have another recommendation from a torrent forum that I subscribe to Matroesjka's / Matrioshki / Russian Dolls from 2008
  8. @Will27 Channel 4 / Walter presents - Ice Cold Murders: Rocco Schiavone S05 Broadcast in Italy in April now with subtitles, just 4 episodes in the series. I love the backdrop to this show, awesome.
  9. I spent years playing around with these - every time I needed to print a worksheet for the kids bleeding the pipes, forgetting to put latex gloves on and teaching a lesson with inkstained fingers, paying out to get them fitted to new printers when the cartridges needed replacing, remembering to buy bottles of ink, staining floor tiles and desks with the ink - Such a great system. Then I discovered wifi laser printers and never looked back.
  10. Just DL a cracked version from the torrent sites. You might want to google this, which seems to be the latest. Microsoft Office 2021 Pro Plus v2308 Build 16731.20234.Multi.Win.x64.x86
  11. Fargo is back! I downloaded and started watching Criminal Code, all was looking promising, then I got to the end of what I thought was the first episode and it ended at some sentimental scene, I was wondering where could the show go from here? Then I realized I had just watched the final episode. Doh. Another show getting good reviews is Stan’s Scrublands Pacto De Sangre,a Mexican crime / drama / mystery may be worth a watch, not too sure yet.
  12. Yes .. what NVR software / system are you using? There are a few ways to remotely access your server. I use Cloudflare DDNS, cloudflare keeps a tab on my ip address - then I use NGINX proxy manager to safely manage the access. 3BB offer a DDNS service, but I have never used it. You could also look into wireguard to access your host computer. It's not really the CCTV app that does the work, it's accessing the server / computer that allows you access to the NVR / CCTV software. How many cameras do you have? If you only have need for a couple, why not use a system that uses the cloud, with live view via some app.
  13. Yes, I player looks fine, right? It’s always was always reliable with my firestick. it doesn’t matter for anyone just using it to watch a bit of BBC. I think it’s a great cheap option, don’t get me wrong. However, like with the OP, you want to watch itvx and you can’t access the stream. I dont understand how this works, but different streams are accessible with different vpn, with PIA there’s no issue accessing the mpeg streams, however surfshark is hit and miss, you will often be only able to access the DASH streams some older TVs can’t play this, and it’s said that it’s of lesser quality, idk, and it doesn’t make any difference to most. So I can see for myself when comparing. Speeds are also a lot faster from PIA (again makes no difference to most, sufsharks speeds are perfectly acceptable) PIA have a dedicated streaming server in the UK, which ”guarantees” that you can access the UK based sites (and I guess Amazon / Netflix ) - i joined PIA over the Beijing Winter Olympics and they have had 7-10 days when the server has been out of order.
  14. I don’t understand why reactions are anonymous? There is a positive side to this forum, it’s nice to see who is giving a thumbs up. If you want to give a negative reaction, then own it, there is no shame. Maybe the admin see this as antagonistic - it wasn’t for the lifespan of TV and the initial period of AN. Why the change?
  15. I had surfshark, it was always reliable with iplayer on my firestick. It’’s cheap, but it comes up short on the the technical side.
  16. Not too sure if it’s the case, but beer was cheaper than water. We loved sitting in the squares of Hanoi with a beer of coffee. If you have never been, it’s worth a look-see.
  17. Yup, Im sitting here watching Anna Friel in a a drama called Marcella - happy to report that ITVx plays all the way without buffering. The adverts are way annoying tho' Have you tried cleaning your cookies and web cache? I set myfirefox preferences to settings > Privacy & Security > then check "Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed" is ticked, this way you know you are starting on a clean slate. Maybe worth giving this a try with surfshark before splashing out on a new sub.
  18. Yes! Billions seemed to fall from grace .. This season I was eagerly awaiting the weekly episode, the plot may have been a bit far fetched by the return of ax and all the scheming was awesome.
  19. I appreciate what you are saying, you would like to buy some CD's. This way you contribute to the artist ( they probably only get a pittance from a CD sale these days ) Just trying to read - Do you have a problem if the mp3 are snagged from a streaming platform? or is that you don't object to piracy, but want good quality MP3 (like 320CBR) or FLAC - You can download CD quality files without DRM protection from Deezer, Tidal, etc. using a third party app. Spotify seems to have the most Thai content, but the files aren't CD quality.
  20. No problems when using PIA - Private Internet Access. It costs a little more to use PIA, still not as expensive as Nord or Express, but I think worth it. When is your subscription up for renewal?
  21. Cheers, for the reminder - I think im omitted to add before - even tho I mentioned its got Pencil from Mocro Mafia.
  22. @xylophone @KhunLA Sonarr has it lined up for 1st December, also worth noting another season of Fargo incoming.
  23. https://www.facebook.com/MacHomeServiceTH?paipv=0&eav=AfYNVFUwKmJxLUSbG4SaxZY103txQ3XvFYWKlAaoFTVPAjCiXZkOvRlBkfhVO4Sk3fk&_rdr This guy is awesome, I have used him for over 10 years or more. I dont know about the kiosks, but I think you need to visit this guy and check out his workshop and you will see the number of years experience he has with all the retro parts in stock.
  24. I buy from here - Mr Lee's - So far im happy with the price and the product, I have tried them all and settled upon 3 that are good for taste and price. I dont like the 'T' coffees, a little too rough and cheap.
  25. I finished Far North last night, I didnt realize I was watching a true story until the final credits. A quite straightforward story, interesting, turned into a dark comedy. Not really a Fresh Eggs, but still worth a look for the Tongan comedians. Cheers @giddyup
