Honda CL300 and CL500
I looked at the 500 a few weeks ago at the local bigbike shop. Price was MSRP plus 50k or 276,800. Would probably buy one for MSRP. Reminds me of a BSA 650 firebird(?) scrambler I owned back in the 70s.

Landlord has code to open door
In Canada it's illegal for a tenant to change the locks without providing a copy of the new key to the landlord. Two week eviction for violation. It makes sense if you think about it. I recently evicted a tenant for this. It helps that rents are up 50% or more recently and the new tenant is paying much more than the evicted tenant did.

Who lives in a studio ?
Please report back in a year and let us know how it went.

Who lives in a studio ?
How convenient. This is exactly what I would do as it lets you always live in a unit on the shade side. The building would of course need to have a north and south side.

Delta flight forced to turn around because of diarrhea incident
https://edition.cnn.com/travel/delta-flight-diarrhea-biohazard/index.html A Delta Air Lines flight from Atlanta to Barcelona on Friday night was forced to turn around after a passenger had diarrhea. The Airbus A350 had set out on time on the evening of September 1 with 336 passengers on board, but was forced to turn around over central Virginia. “It’s just a biohazard issue, we had a passenger who had diarrhea all the way through the airplane so they want us to come back to Atlanta,” a DL 194 pilot said to air traffic control. ----- You just can't make this stuff up.

Heroic Thai husband’s defence of pregnant wife ends in fatal stabbing
Lucky this wasn't in the US. It would have been an AR-15 instead of a knife and 20 would be dead.

More Lazada PC / website annoyance - Or is it just me?
For shopee I use k-bank and pay via qr code. AliExpress I use a US credit card and pay in US dollars.

Linux laptop, chromium browser using the built in Google translate.

More Lazada PC / website annoyance - Or is it just me?
Not that I recall. Most stuff I order there is less than $100 so this might not be a good indicator. Deliveries from AliExpress take about 2 weeks. Their consumer protection is vastly superior to lazada or shopee.

More Lazada PC / website annoyance - Or is it just me?
I use shopee exclusively as the lazada experience is lacking in a number of areas. Shopee is easy. Log in, do your search, then run google translate on the page. Works remarkably well. AliExpress is my #1 choice if the needs are not immediate.

Russian cyber-attacks ‘relentless’ as threat of WW3 grows, expert warns
WWIII is inevitable. Not necessarily because of this but because of all the countries recently having Russian orchestrated coups recently. Currently mainly African but expect that to expand.

I have not been to Pattaya in nearly 20 years. Tell me what I should do when I visit next month.
Typical bar owner talk. Like the restaurant owner that says all street food has been sitting there all day and gone bad so you better eat here.

Shopee login is still ok. I don't use lazada as their website was a bit cumbersome. Looks like you're needing to make the switch too.

How do Thais stay slim?
They don't. When I started coming here 25 years ago they were all slim. Now not so much. 25 years from now they will be the same as westerners. Blame KFC, McDonald's, etc.

Mysteries of our age.
The conspiracy nuts are morons. I had one guy tell me the moon landings were fake. Then a few minutes later he was going on about the helium-3 mining on the far side of the moon. How in the world are the mining helium-3 on the moon if we never went to the moon? Idiots.

Biden administration adds Insulin to drug price negotiation list in major blow to Big Pharma
The queues have always been there, but are much worse now. Canada, it's a good place to live if you want to be on the dole. And remember, Canada cuts down the tall trees. Talent goes south of the border and earns real money.

Canada free health care? Hardly. It comes out of your taxes. But the killer for these socialized medicine countries is the queuing and the delays. Need to see a GP? We can get you in in a month. Need a specialist? First see your GP in a month, then get referred to the specialist where you might get an initial consult in 6 months. Then if you need some procedure you can wait years. At least in the US, if you're insured, you can get things done relatively quickly. What they need is single payer to cover the uninsured.

A 17-year-old student at a school in Rome complained of being groped by the caretaker as she walked up a staircase with a friend in April 2022.

US power strip from Amazon
The picture you posted shows a combo box that does 2 things. First it's a power bar. Second its a usb power adapter. The power bar part is usable. Amps are what's important there, not volts. The usb power adapter is where any issues will arise. I use an anker usb power adapter rated at 110-240 v that has worked well for years. Something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Anker-6-Port-Charger-PowerPort-iPhone/dp/B00P933OJC/ref=sr_1_4?keywords=anker%2Busb%2Bcharger&qid=1693528300&refresh=1&sr=8-4&th=1
