    No. Canadian's pension (OAS) counts the number of years you reside in Canada after 18 to determine how much you collect. If you continue to live in Thailand you will reduce your welfare check(cheque haha). So you're around 50 and don't want to work till retirement age? Good luck. I'm sure glad I found SE Asia after I was retired (at 45) and was financially sound.

    Why deal with a Thai when you can deal with a US company that has to follow the US rules? Schwab International allows residents of Thailand to open accounts and do all the trading you could want. $25k minimum. Advice available if needed.

    Create a new account. I had a different problem. Same phone number, different address. Even though I updated the address in Lazada, they kept delivering to the old one. The package had the right address on it, but it went to the old address anyway. So the easy answer is to create a new account anytime anything changes.

    He wants power. And manipulating Trump is the easiest way to get it. With Trump being so easily manipulated by simple praise, he'll be essentially running the government. Why do you think Musk is essentially attached to trump's hip these days? It's because if he is absent, some other person will be whispering in trump's ear and he'll lose his power.

    As an actual Canadian, I think it's a good idea, but doesn't go far enough. Canada should take the west coast, California is debatable. Also the east coast down to Virginia. Any farther south is a bit too inbred. The fly over states can remain. We'll give them Alberta, aka Canada's Tennessee. Lots of oil there. Sounds like a fair trade to me.

    I brought a 1.75 liter bottle of crown royal in my luggage last time I was in Canada a few weeks ago. Yumm. Not quite macallan quality but still quite drinkable.

    I didn't read the whole thread so was unaware you were already going for a colonoscopy. I was merely suggesting something that would work to alleviate constipation. Small doses of swiff work well for occasional bad constipation.
