  1. Police went to Flexx precisely to do what you claim they were not doing.....enforcing closing hours. Police only went to Thai bar (Yes!!) because there was a fight on. Your post actually supports the argument of the post that you seek to contradict.
  2. "A Thai motorcyclist who was talking on the phone with his girlfriend while driving tragically crashed into the rear of a parked sedan on the side of a road and died." Not "tragically"....... .......Stupidly
  3. "I make you very good special price for this one"
  4. Which is why this "news" report is making so much of the "evil" that Chinese do. Would they be making as much of the "evil" if it had been a Thai gang? You are just the sort of person that the article is aimed at: "Ohh look......you see......those Chinese.......what are they like?......and they have the nerve to say Thais are bad........I mean they're worse aren't they?....aren't they just?........ooer, ain't it awful?" Just pull your string and off go. Well done.
  5. Yes, he's a real "Larshole".
  6. Making new laws and coming up with any number of "initiatives" is a total ******* waste of time. You might as well strap a notice (saying "LAY MORE EGGS OR THERE WILL BE TROUBLE) to a lazy dog, leave it to sleep next to the chicken coop, tell the chickens to read the notice, then tell the cat to check up on both dog and chickens! The place is a complete, dysfunctional mess. But they are very good at carving fruit and vegetables into nice shapes.......and folding napkins, stuff like that......very good. And: "Yes, yes it's where they filmed The Beach y'know" "Did they? Really? wow! awesome". Yeah........ that's right, Thailand is really............*******................awesome.
  7. Quote I read about them (from "Swimming to Cambodia"?) : "They are the nicest people that money can buy"
  8. I would be going visa exempt, and getting a 30 day extension, in your position. So would 1000s of other people. 100s of 1000s have done your sort of itinerary that way,
  9. I am also not a doctor. However I guarantee that this is NOT herpes:
  10. In case there was any confusion about the wording of the headline: "Prayut BAD, Prawit GOOD" This blatant piece of partisan bias was brought to you by THAI NEWSROOM (Can we have the money now please Toad?)
  11. I was all fixed up to tell you to stop hanging around, begging, in bus stations. Never mind:
  12. I don't know where you are, but this Google seemed to bring up some good options: "Cabs for women in Bangkok" ie: https://www.namstaxiladydrivers.com/
  13. "where he became heavily addicted to the drug, to the extent that he recently suffered from hallucinations, forcing the family to send him to a rehabilitation centre." Wasn't like that when I packed it in.......40 years ago. But it isn't the same drug anymore.........as I found out, to my cost, last September (I was actually looking forward to the experience!) Psychosis proliferating in todays "Weed Head World". Weed Heads would prefer you not to know that......todays generation continue to spout the now demonstrably redundant claim (read the science) that it's "safe".
  14. Probably just looking for somewhere to crash.
  15. They need to belong. It's all about belonging. Leave the poor dears alone.
  16. Think of Thai society as a "family"........that is how it has been characterised, in Thailand, over and over, ad infinitum. And so it is.......a dysfunctional one. The "parenting" consisted of a mix of not giving a **** about the children and leaving them completely unsupervised and unsupported, harassing them, subjugating, threatening and bullying them, and filling their heads full of archaic personality worship, nonsense and superstition. The road thing is just part of the big (badly painted by numbers, chaotic)...... picture. Intense "therapy" is the only thing that can come close to fixing it. It almost certainly requires much more severe "treatment".
  17. You shouldn't be saying sorry. MCs are indeed banned from the that part of the "highway" that crosses the river, on a bridge. https://www.collinsdictionary.com/dictionary/english/highway In the UK the Act of Parliament that deals with all aspects of the management and operation of the road network is "The Highways Act" I apologise for not being around earlier to forestall the tiresome "conversation" into which you were dragged. You have my sincere sympathy. .
  18. Sounds like he has a fair bit of Thai blood in him: "Karen reportedly admitted to starting the altercation but blamed alcohol and said it was out of character for him."
  19. Doncha just love those sad and confused Proddy Pitbulls.
  20. The decision is not in the hands of political parties. It is a "philosophical" decision to maintain Thailand as a primitive society. Other "agencies" are responsible for that.
  21. "The agreement reached was that Northern Ireland was part of the United Kingdom, and would remain so until a majority of the people both of Northern Ireland and of the Republic of Ireland wished otherwise." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Good_Friday_Agreement Until demographic change in Ulster results in a majority of the people voting for reunion with the other 3 provinces. Should the majority in the other 3 vote for reunion there will likely be a short civil war in Ulster, war being what Protestant Fuhrer Edward Carson threatened, pre-WW1, when Home Rule was first mooted by the UK Government. It was inevitable that it would come sooner or later. The Treaty merely delayed it. Ireland was first into Britains overseas empire, finally it will be completely and fully out.
  22. Perfectly OK to visit NI......just avoid being in close proximity to any policemen. "Deputy Chief Constable Mark Hamilton said dissident republicans were focused on attacking police officers, not the public." "I wouldn't encourage people to be hugely concerned about their own safety broader than that." https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-northern-ireland-65110382
