    If that happens your only recourse would be to file a claim in civil court to try and settle the matter. Fact of the matter is the car is his until the name in the book is changed. DLT most likely would not touch it.

    Could be a sensor going out. TPS is where I would start. But could be anything. If you can find a shop that has a Pro style scanner that reads Live data then that should pinpoint the problem. Plug it in and go for a drive, checking systems one by one. May be just a bad connection in the wiring harness - the Live data will tell you what system is lacking response, or lacking the correct response.

    We converted from the old style to multi port on one of our cars 2 years ago - 22,000 THB This car - a 2001 model - has been on LPG since new, now 250K + Km. Engine still in great shape - uses no oil. Fuel cost per Km at that time was 50% of the price of 95, which this vehicle requires.

    Buying an EV ? Make sure it has V2L Figures quoted for Aus so you will have to check how applicable the numbers are here. But 8% ROI is quite good. Quite an eye opener !
