Money saving effective tip to those lovely boys, well some of them, in brown.
Dress like a foreigner, whiten the skin a bit and stand 6 feet inside the main door of Panthip Plaza.
In a very loud voice shout " i want to buy 10 porn movies".
You will have more than 91 arrests, more than 10,000 CDS in the space of 10 minutes as they will come to you!!
Use the saved officer time and money to protect the British Embassy from distruntled Senators

Senator from Isaan refused visa.
Oh dear.
Don't all the 'benefits' that appear to extend to certain areas of the Thai community apply in Britain then?
Guess he thought they did
Will there be a requirement for armed guards in Wireless Road soon?

This is an amazing feat of engineering and will be fantastic.
Obviously with a 10 baht promotion and a 'new toy' to play with half of BKK is going to go play.
Make the comments, like the big boss says, after the 13th.
Looking forward to it

Both are happy to tell me that the UK doesn't want 'as many Thai visitors as possible' as you say, but rather 'have strict quotas to adhere to'.
That for real!
Thought UK Inc was all for money spenders?

It would be interesting to collect data on which months see the most visit visas (or indeed any visas) granted by the UK embassy in Bangkok, and which months see the least.
That makes no sense at all.
Do you not think that more visas are applied for to visit UK in the lovely warm summer rather than the freezing cold winter.
Maybe i am wrong but would say that the UK actually WANTS to issue as many visas as possible to Thai visitors that in turn spend plenty of money. Called tourism:-)
It seems that the posts here relate to a 'category' of people that initially do not fulfil criteria laid down.
Statistics for refusals based on 'criteria' would be more interesting although unlikely to be forthcoming:-)

Your comments are almost surreal!
Where do you think all the cash comes from for VIP waiting lounges all over the places you choose to frequent?
Why not get a job as a Diplomat for two reasons.
1. You can make all the changes you want.
2. If that fails travel as a Diplomat and avoid the queues.

"Foreign tourists aren't happy about some tourist attractions' toilets that are inconvenient, have insufficient stalls and, most importantly, are so dirty they don't want to use them. It's an embarrassment," Boonlert said.
The problem requires a long-term and organised plan, he said, suggesting that private companies could invest in a dedicated toilet-service business.
The attractions themselves could hire permanent toilet caretakers, he added.
Boonlert said the toilets should be of good standard and have convenient access for all, including the disabled and elderly.
Several models will be proposed, each specifically designed to match a particular tourist site, such as an "antique" style of toilet for historical places.
Sounds like a 'bog standard' reply to me

Dont forget their is a section on the form that states anybody involved in prostituion will be automatically declined as an unsuitable person for any visa.
That answers a lot of the points raised in this and other threads in a sentence.

You are kinda real cool:-)
I am not so good with English but you said something like.
Help me i am avery bad boy.
i am break the laws of Thailand but i have a great reason so that is ok.
Then you said please can someone help but if you want to tell me the truth then do not bother.
Ok i give you the answer to your question so you can MAYBE leave Thailand and hope u not come back.
Go to the airport and tell them your great reason. Smile a lot and have about six months of MY salary ready to pay.
They MAY let you go but Thailand owns Thailand NOT you and they do not have to.
If you are caught anywhere in Thailand your visa will be checked and they put you in some bad place with a lot of nasty things happe. i read it in the newspaper that it is not nice place.
Next yif you are outside Thailand you get a brain and then lose your passport. Then apply for a business visa so Thailand know where you are and why you want to come here.
But JoeThai you have to not be so bad mouth farang.
phut mai dee yer maak. Mai liew krai fang!
