Actually they do have a Shell V Power DieselV power is gasoline
diesel is diesel.
Suprised your engine is still ok.
They always try to put that in my truck when I go to a shell.
But it does cost quite a bit more & I have always refused it.
I will say as much as I hate snake oil that it does make a difference in Gasohol 95
V power when used in small scooters like the Wave 125i
For some reason just burns cleaner/leaner & I do actually notice the difference.
But,,,I do not buy it regularly

You will need to change your tagline from last place finisher to almost 1st placegot to immigration at 10:45 today and was out, with my new 90 day certificate, by 10:52... plenty of seats in the waiting room, no lines at any of the counters... got 542 as my number, 540 was on the board.
Just about ties my record for quickies...

Well America is back in business I am proud to be a American who is Black
What's the colour of a person got to do with the American economy?
Very true
I am white, well light brown now that I live here
& American but not that proud
Am happy though to see the dollar at 31.06 TT rate as I type this.
Wonder how well it will do. Would not complain to see the 35-36 of 2009
Seems like only yesterday

Wow I am really surprised by the replies here
I guess I will have to keep an eye on it from now on.
I never would have expected so many to have had the same experience.
Luckily I usually ride a motorcycle or scooter so I am always right there
view wise. I dont use the truck much but from now on when I do & need fuel
I am going to be watching.
Thanks for all the tips

Oh I thought I might need to black out his eyes if he didn't come clean with 200You might just need to black out the eyes or partially pixelate the face.
baht in cash or diesel

This is something that happens not just in Thailand as I have seen it in the USA too
But this morning I stopped at the PTT station down the road behind Big C Extra
This is a road that leads into Payap University.
Burmese workers, I told the boy in Thai 1000 baht diesel
He went & was putting it in. Normally I don't watch but today by chance I turned around to look
at the meter while he pumped as I wondered if the price per liter has changed.
I see him stopping at 800 baht. I thought odd as I know my truck will take the 1000
as I had only a quarter tank left. He comes to the window & I say to him in Thai
"Oh cannot fit 1000 baht only 800 baht"?
He tells me in Thai oh I put in twice once 200 baht then 800 baht.
I told him again in Thai no way you did not fill twice you filled once & only 800 baht & I point at the meter.
He argues with me that he did pump it twice once 200 & once 800
Now since I do not know how to speak angrily in Thai much I say BS+++ get the manager in half English half Thai
He says ok & leaves...comes right back with 200 baht & says here here in Thai.
I thought about getting out of the truck & going to talk with the manager but just took the 200 & drove off
making a mental note of this guys face.
I was a bit surprised as 1- I did not think this happened here & 2- did not think the migrant workers would
think of this scam & be able to pull it off because they need to pull their loot from the daily money without being noticed.
If someone like me pays with a 1000 note he has to be able to make the change between my truck & the main office.
Unless of course the whole gang is in on it?
Anyway just a heads up to keep an eye on the pump meter when buying more than a 100 baht for a scooter
That little rat was going to skim 20% fuel costs off me

my bad I meant the Hero 3 White is not as expensive
Yes I saw that one advertised in Thailand superbike.Picked up a Hero 3 Black and a few extra batteries, haven't tried it out yet.
The price was not as crazy as the full blown model.
Let us know how you like it.

Well like I said I see now there was good potential with just the pipe &a custom ecu to a custom pipe?
what do you waiting for mania?
just go forward!!!
filter so it is tempting to try with a map etc.
But, still do not know of a pipe that sound is not too over the top.
Am looking around to see. Too bad though because I really thought that Devil
was a perfect size & angle for that size bike.
It looked "right" to me.

I am sure one of the guys with a cam will chime in but,I am ordering one but you think is ti big for motorbike?
I would be more concerned about how it can be mounted &
how it holds up to shock water etc.
All the "sport" type cams come with some kind of housing.
Which is why I liked that Sony package too.
I like to swim laps & would use it to analyze swimming too.
-
You know hindsight?
I really wish that Devil was not so dang loud
Yesterday was riding Samoeng Loop & had a place on the highway coming back that I had
wound up that Devil pipe before & can see now it did make quite a large clear difference.
The midrange was much stronger pulling & top end was quick to reach too.
Not a slight difference either but a pretty dang large one.
heheheh ahhhhhhh hindsight but it was waaaay loudOn the good side it did show what potential is there to be had.
Will look around & see what comes available at what db's
But unrestricted exhausts which give good power gains is usually like that Devil
Good name for that pipe
Also I have been having a talk with Kerry the president/owner of Area P No Limits in the USA.
We have been talking about his FI controller & he said should I decide to get one he would take a personal
interest in working with me on some maps as they have no Ninja 250 for 2013 in the USA being all 300's
So that is a tempting offer too.

Dear Aunty.
I keep having the same fantasy about fitting this swingarm to my bike.
Trouble is I have a CBR250R and a friend keeps telling me it's just too perverse.
Is it a match or should I just stop dreaming?
My dear niece
I believe all things are possible

Wanted to resurrect this old thread as I was wondering if anyone
bought the Sony HDR-AS10?
If so what do you think of it?
Thanks for any feedback

Nice bike you have there congrats !
Take care & hope you have many enjoyable rides.
It is amazing to me the nice looking forks they have on those bikes given the price.
Even if the springs etc inside were not great they could be changed.
But the legs look good & beefy for that price range.
Very nice Congrats & Enjoy !

There was a falang outside Big C HomePro Hang Dong selling what looked like the same stuff.
Was a few months back & he wore a mouth mask
Nice guy said hi etc. But I remember thinking I wonder how he is doing that stand.

Agreed, rake & trail + power & weight all have a reaction & some bikesOn some bikes they're necessary-
are just more planted depending on geometry
If your reading forums of 1400 owners & they are not using them then probably fine without.
-
I would think so too.A steering damper is necessary for a Z 1000 I feel.
Especially when you are gunning it away from the lights and the front end is very light all the way to 120 clicks and beyond
Also the roads here are not the best.
High power = light front exiting turns + bad pave = chatter & we know what comes next.
I think that is why we see so many tank slappers on IOM
They are dealing with real world roads not smooth track.

Looks aside I guess just depends on bike & how you ride.$400 is about right from MotoMummy.com- dampers look cool, and I thought about getting one, but it will block the steering stem on my bike and that's where I'm gonna mount my GPS.
I can say I only had a bike or two that needed it. An older 900RR
that I had modded a bit definitely needed it if pulling hard out of corners
with the front getting light if I hit a bump or rough patch it would start the oscillations
which only need be felt once to put the fear of a full blown tank slapper in you
PS: side note...The best ever tank slappers can always be seen on some of the IOM TT videos
