Immigration Agents In Chiang Mai
mania replied to connda's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
It is common knowledge that the retirement visa is loads easier than the based on marriage visa So much so that for years Chiang Mai immigration tried to persuade married guys to just file for a retirement visa Which btw is perfectly legal in any case married to a Thai or not -

88% of Thailand bank accounts have less than 50,000 THB
mania replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Many of the country Thai folks I know keep most of their saving in Gold or at home. Many do not really trust banks actually -
Bulk of it is farming & mainly the end of rice harvest time. I know it is a tough one as they have no tractors so they pile up the waste & burnt it + the field itself to prep for next crop But it is so obvious even though done at night when the next day you come thru & the perfect square rai is black yet all around it is green. It is never just one square either While wild forest fires may be tough to pinpoint these are so obvious If they government wanted to do something there is a good place to start Get caught with your perfectly burnt rice fields & lose the use of that land for 3 years would see a quick halt to it

Can anyone tell me how to make a consumer complaint about a Thai Company?
mania replied to Negita43's topic in General Topics
The best way is to write the complaint out on paper it can be in any language but Thai or English is most popular . . . . . . . Then set it on fire ???? -
I am no expert & of course you should research your own case as much as you can but I have had PSVT for 30 years now on & off & also now have many PVC's & PAC's I am 66 I am in very good health otherwise with a strong heart that is structurally fine. I take no meds like Cholesterol,BP etc as I'm all good there I do sometimes take low dose aspirin just because it is simple & as someone once told me makes a slippery heart ???? One resource you may like to look at is this YouTube channel called York Cardiologist He has a ton of videos on various Afib, PSVT. SVT. PVC's etc etc & is very informative Good Luck

The really odd nature of this virus is how it moved thru society In my life any virus I have seen in the last 60 years was always quick to attach to youngsters This one was the opposite & seemed at least initially to mainly attach to seniors Also how it took a weak link in its host & used it was also odd where as in other viruses it was always the virus/infection itself But as mentioned with all the attention of young researchers I'm hopeful we will eventually have an explanation

Balloons , fighter jets, It just seems more & more we are headed towards what none really want. These things are all provoking one way or another & it is not just China Balloons or Russian Jets Not like the US does not do the same thing near Taiwan/China & many other spots etc The end game is when the taunting succeeds then we are all living in a different world & we will long for the days of peaceful existence

This ^^^ is why so many are shocked when a real problem occurs in Thailand. Yes diagnostics is cheaper in Thailand but major surgeries like resetting a compound fracture or plating a broken collar bone is going to be $$$ same as anywhere in the world Yes the bones on the hand, a broken wrist (depending on severity) & lacerations, may not be too high but, those first two are going to cost you But even with that 1.6 Million Baht sounds pretty high & would be nice if someone shined the light on this hospital & ask them to explain this cost

We use to leave our condo for a year or more at a time in Chiang Mai Never a problem except once we came back & the folks in condo above had a leak which caused problems on our ceiling I was initially sad to sell in 2016 these days I think differently ???? We did visit in November which was nice

Nah I think as an illegal crop had more chance of that But that aside...I think everyone or most of my generation smoked weed growing up. We survived but.... For myself in hindsight I would say it did me no good except wasted precious time of my life when I could have been so much more productive than sitting in a smoky room with others laughing & eating junk food Of course yes compared to other recreational drugs it is not as bad & even better than alcohol but that is not a benefit enough to justify the waste of time/young life So now to Thailand.....Given the fact that so many are already inclined to doing nothing, weed freely available will only make that all the worse Thai youth already have so few hero's

New Rule: A Woke Revolution | Real Time with Bill Maher (HBO)
mania replied to mania's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Ive never watched him before but agree with what he said in that video Also what little I had heard of him was I thought he was a left wing liberal type so it seemed odd for him to speak out against what I thought started as a radical left BS deal ???? As to being blown out of proportion trust me in the USA its nuts That whole cancel culture is disgusting & that is basically what he was talking about with that teacher & that banjo player examples. -
Yes & that is the reason I have not wanted to get a CTA test. Because that dye can be hazardous to folks with kidney problems & I have had a few The calcium scoring test sounds ok & is inexpensive or so Ive heard One other test is the MRA which is a MRI for the heart & again without dyes Magnetic resonance angiography–also called a magnetic resonance angiogram or MRA–is a type of MRI that looks specifically at the body's blood vessels. Unlike a traditional angiogram, which requires inserting a catheter into the body, magnetic resonance angiography is a far less invasive and less painful test.

I see lopburi3 already explained CTA As for the calcium scoring test it is this... The coronary artery calcium (CAC) score measures the amount of calcified plaque you have in those arteries, which is important because coronary plaque is the main underlying cause of — or precursor to — atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD) events such as heart attacks and strokes.
