Well that is news to me & as a Sys Admin I have not seen such nonsense during my time on the web & I assure you I am on often & visit hundreds of sites This is the only site with such continuous nonsense Of course Cloudflare is used on many sites but this one is wound way too tight for some reason As for a region of the world that is a location where abuse is or has previously been prevalent, etc. Well you have just described Thailand haven't you? When I was there I note many US sites do not allow Thai IP's at all period. I am in the same boat as you except my Thai DL was a 5 year version But like you being out for Covid caused mine to expire I am not sure what the procedure will be but, If you think back as I do originally I had must my US license & a international permit when I went for my first Thai license & did not need any written test In fact because I had a US car & motorcycle license at that time they gave me Thai car & also a bike license I think your agent is right because if you apply with a valid foreign license & international permit your only made to take the short reaction test & vision at the counter Post what you find when you do yours ????

Companies in turn pay higher wages & raise prices of products to keep profit margin & investors happy Something more is broken & needs fixing it is neither the top/owners (who risked capital & created jobs & now want profit) nor the bottom/workers (who works hard to help create profit for the top)

I think most have always agreed "Lower/budget" dollar for dollars spent you can have a better quality of life in Thailand As for repatriating always being for the worse please realize USA was always a get it your dang self kind of country period!
