    My wife has seen some nice prefab homes on the internet - we are looking for a guest cottage. Is there any place relatively local to Chiang Mai where we can see some in real life, not just photos? Does anyone have experience with such homes? Some are very inexpensive...

    So, lets say you currently have a bank account with $1,000,000 and you earn $100,000 this year but it all goes into the same account - - - and you bring $100,000 into Thailand every year... would you not owe taxes for ten years?

    ps - - you know, most of us stopped teasing people about physical issues in 5th grade... I was thin most of my life... but maybe if you were a little smarter, you might be an astute investor and have the money to take care of yourself.. you could eat a 2nd meal a day...

    No, I eat modestly and try and take a very small serving size of several dishes - - I did not come close to sampling even half of what is available - - I didn't really look but I did not see a lot of overburdened plates or waste...

    Yes. Me too. I just like the variety and choice and it was certainly there... I was there yesterday and the selection is so big I could not sample everything... great value for monry. I cannot eat all I can eat.

    But, you still can be generous and give them things that will make them feel better and be secure... you just don't have to give them everything...
