  2. They make interest on late payments - they love it...
  3. This morning when I woke, my wife was gone... The maid told me, 'Don't bother trying to find her, she's not there.'
  4. You are far less likely to be disappointed with bigger than smaller...
  5. We are getting overdosed with news/information/misinforrmation/and wild stories, many of which are true but that if it happened 50 years ago, we might not have ever known...
  6. how many years ago? Or is that the Thai style 80+ ??
  7. Been a long time since I lived in the West.. But many Thai guys get drunk and hit... And yes, Thai ladies are very wary of anger- they have radar. They don't like angry guys at any cost...
  8. Then you might remember this song performed by Dave Van Ronk As you are 'Still Kicking' We all make the bed we must lie in And tuck ourselves in two-and-two And if somebody kicks, that will be me, dear And if someone gets kicked, that will be you
  9. You have a special energy - - I am sure you did great w/the ladies because of it... the life of the party is usually not easy when home alone... there isn't always a party going on..
  10. Sure, that goes along with everything, personality and humor... Thai ladies in particular love an easy going guy - - and that definitely adds to the sex appeal... kindness and generosity as well. Smarts too...
  11. I found that you can only have relationships with 5-6% at any given time... you will not likely pick up on pheromones consciously... Of course.. There is nothing more attractive than finding a woman with the good sense and good taste to choose you... Confidence is very attractive. More so than looks. And yes, people who are successful financially tend to be confident.
  12. I bet you are the kind of guy who drags on immigrants in your home country who can't speak English... Learning/speaking Thai is the #1 thing I would recommend for farang living here... but if you don't have the capacity, ok... not even recognizing the need, well, that is who you are... better to concentrate on your BMI... Funny, my being a little overweight is so important to you - - we surely don't belong in the same club.. not that there's anything wrong with it...
  13. yo! Meathead - is that true? Just one word a day and you would be speaking ok... no respect for the locals? and you call me diabetes legs... kah bpa wan you could be insulting overweight people in their own language... or maybe if you were just a little bit brighter, you wouldn't feel a need to compensate... not that there's anything wrong with it...
  14. After my nephew was in a near miss fight - - my wife told me, 'the blood gets hot'
  15. nice natural location...
  16. the easy way to deal with these issues is to get a legit competent agent.. for a nominal fee they will fill out all paperwork correctly... yes, you can do it yourself but if it creates peace of mind - why not?
  17. It is not just the family - - A Thai lady cannot be happy drinking out of fine crystal if her mother is drinking from a coconut shell.
  18. Yes, my wife's situation is very similar... in coming from extreme poverty.. I have lived near 20 years in her village where we built a home and then expanded to a compound for the family. *** What I have found is that often times Thai will not speak directly - especially when they complain. It is not nice to say that someone is a dirty filthy drunk, so they might say 'I don't like that person because they don't comb their hair.' I have learned to hear what my wife is really saying - she might look at a big house as a burden to clean every day for the rest of her life - or being uncomfortably ostentatious - - but she may never say those things.. Listen to her carefully - you might be creating something that she does not want..
  19. The Sea of Hopes and Dreams... Himalayan salt is rock salt (halite) mined from the Punjab region of Pakistan. The salt, which often has a pinkish tint due to trace minerals, is primarily used as a food additive to replace refined table salt, but is also used for cooking and food presentation, decorative lamps, and spa treatments. The product is often promoted with unsupported claims that it has health benefits. Wikipedia
  20. I think he must have come in through the a/c - - ?? Truly as big as my hand and clinging to the wall, up high. I got up in the middle of the night and was looking for him when he fell onto my office chair and then leapt onto my 27" computer screen in front of my face... he could not grip the screen and was slowly sliding down.. I placed a shoebox below the screen and gently swept him into the box w/a piece of wood... I took the box outside into the garden and let him go near the pond. I think he has been around a long time. Yes, love the lyrics... "Love, is it really love at all, or something that I heard love called." Eric Andersson
  21. Yes. Me too. The rare time I go to a fast food restaurant, I ask them for French fries unsalted - - and they oblige. At home, I use Himalayan sea salt and that in small quantities.
  22. good restaurants are adept at proper seasonings - personally, I don't like a lot of salt - there are better flavor enhancers... and there is usually salt on the table so that should never be an issue..
  23. so many people are a little overweight or more so that most people don't mind too much... of course, if you lay your hat, it probably doesn't mtter much to you...
  24. and if you turn them over, though they may have some belly, their back is never fat...
