Yes, of course, I have seen that too - - but it is definitely not all fat people... most fat people I know fight it like the wind and have trouble making any traction... if you have not fought that battle, you surely wouldn't know...

And others put on that extra 5 kg fight it like crazy and lose the weight then put it back in a brief inhale. A never ever ending battle, that ends with 95% of the people putting the weight back on - - there is lots of newer research that points to other issues than will power as reason for weight gain... but skinny people like to think they are better just because they don't suffer the affliction. It is totally shallow and extremely obnoxious. I wouldn't make fun of anyone, even you, because you look like Kramer...

It is the fat blokes who have had experience w/every diet out there... skinny people, bless their hearts, many of them can eat all they want, overload 3 plates at the buffet and then criticize people for getting fat..

The other side of that is that there seems to be proof now that having good family and friend relationships is very good for longevity... maybe looking for friends who eat healthy too will help.

There are many guesthouses in the old city, inside the moat... It is a very charming and quaint area to stay, many restaurants and coffee houses and young travelers to chat with... the North East quadrant is particulalry nice... guesthouses are small hotels for mostly young travelers...

I had a country doctor new to CM and I asked him if he was familiar w/the word 'anxiety' - - he told me 'yes, it was what he feels when he has to talk to me in English.' We mostly spoke Thai, very sweet man, but not the most knowledgable... and near no English.

A young Thai fellow that I knew, many years ago, needed to build a house for his hiso fiancé before the family would agree... the house had yo be a minimum of 15 million baht - which was about $500,000 US... Most hiso Thai ladies really look down their noses at almost everyone as not being good enough to meet approval from the family - - they consider themselves very very elite. I have known attractive ladies who stay single for that reason.

You don't say where you live, but I went to an excellent acupuncturist... and it helped where traditional medicine could do nothing... well, not quite nothing, they had me in traction which cost me money and was not helpful.

I have lived in many places in Thailand and my daily life goes on w/o conflicts over 10 baht here and there... why do you think you are getting overcharged so often - - - attitude problem?
