As you can tell, Pfizer is at the top of the list, i.e., out of all the vaccine side effects dealing with "Dizziness" reported to VEARS to date, 31.74% of them involve the Pfizer-BIONTech vaccine. It was just today that I read that tourist feel like they were "conned" into coming here. Yeah well, sorry - did you do your homework before coming? The regulatory nightmare to enter the country should have been the red-flag to convinced any sane person that New Normal Thailand isn't Old Normal Thailand. Which reminds me of the farang lass who told an interviewer a few weeks back that she was bored out of her mind because there was literally nothing to do. It will an economy killer as those businesses that operate on a razor-thin profit margin will never be able to absorb both the aggregated losses from the previous mandated lock-downs as well future Covid passports and forced employee antigen testing. That would be the silver stake hammered through the heart of most small and media businesses. It would be the rice grain that breaks the buffalo's back.

If they push Covid Passports and antigen testing, they will not be getting the domestic tourism either. But I bet odds on that the Thai government will do just that. The Power-elite can not help themselves. What good is ultimate power when you can't wield it? The antigen testing alone will destroy the businesses operating on razor thin profit margins like restaurants. And then come the Hot Season they'll look back on the failed 2021 High Season (just like the failed Phuket Sandbox) and blame everyone but themselves. It will be interesting to see who prevails - The ministerial power freaks or the economists and monied interests who have been bleeding revenues and profits since the Songkran/Thong Lor Nationwide Virus Release debacle. I hate to be Captain Obvious, but no where in that linked article with the exception of the title does the name "Hua Hin" appear. The article solely discusses measures in "Dark-Red Zones." Now, I don't live in Hua Hin, so I don't know its "Zone" designation although I thought people from BKK were traveling to Hua Hin to escape the lockdown measures. Did they make another Dark Red Zone by spreading the virus nationwide like the mass exodus did during Songkran? So if Hua Hin is designated a "Dark-Red Zone" then the generic rules for "Dark-Red Zones" applies. Otherwise they don't. A more applicable and accurate title should be, "People will need to show proof of vaccine or negative test to visit restaurants in Dark-Red Zones nationwide which now includes Hua Hin."

However, restaurants located in ‘dark red zones’ will be required to ensure that all staff must have two doses of vaccine and be tested with antigen test kits every 5-7 days. Customers are also required to show proof of vaccination and have negative tests before entering restaurants.
