  1. Is Ofcom employing freelancer outside of the UK? I could use some passive income.
  2. It will boil down to who has the most power and political leverage. Best to have bullet-proof glass in your car windows too methinks.
  3. I've got to make a second account and start spewing troll-bait like the other who are able to become "AseanNow's Most Popular Posters." I'm pretty sure within three months I'd have the top spot. But that would leave me pretty much without a soul. I think I'll pass on it. Tempting though, living in the shoes of a bull**** artist.
  4. Looks like Thaksin, Prayut, or Prawit. They must have the same hair stylist.
  5. The reality is that they could back a glass of water and a ham sandwich. By 2028 after over a billion dollars or more are throw into Madison Ave, K Street, and Hollywood marketing, propaganda, and lobbying, the glass of water will become a bottle of Beverly Hills 90H20 Diamond Edition elixir of life, and the ham sandwich will become A5 Kobe Beef Filet Mignon served on Pan Piña Baker Gold Leaf Bread. Reality is that they are still a glass of water and a ham sandwich, but politics, as in marketing, is all about the creation of an illusion, the ultimate prestige. Btw, for anyone who believes I'm picking on Democrats, I'm not. The US political system is a two party duopoly which are but different sides of the same coin. This applies to the entire political system which is quite rotten to the core. They'll be another billion USD spent to convince you that the two sides are actually different and then to urge you to the threshold of violence into order to show your allegiance to "your side." Politics is a grift; politicians, their donors, and supporters are but grifters. The goal is Ordo Ab Chao as it makes the rubes, the suckers, and the marks easier to fleece. "The perfect dictatorship would have the appearance of a democracy, but would basically be a prison without walls in which the prisoners would not even dream of escaping. It would essentially be a system of slavery where, through consumption and entertainment, the slaves would love their servitudes." -Aldous Huxley
  6. Did the Italian drive the boat to a restricted area? Or did the boat operator take him to a restricted area with the Italian being completely ignorant about the legality of diving in that area? I'd bet a paycheck on the latter explanation. Boat operator.
  7. He quit - that solved the situation. Given his perchance toward wishing to be confrontational as opposed to light-hearted and helpful, I'm thinking seeking a job with one of the more radical "eco" organization would be a better fit for him. Then he could get paid to rage about "ecology." I gotta agree with others though. If a foreigner is snorkeling where they shouldn't be, inform them that they are out of bounds, inform the tourist that the boat driver will be instructed to take him to a location where snorkeling is allowed, and wish him a good day. Then spend some time tracking down industrial polluters. Fyi - did the snorkeler drive the boat to that location? I highly doubt it. The snorkeler was driven by a boat captain who should know the locations where diving is allowed. So instead of brow-beating the tourist who probably has no ideas where diving boundaries are in those waters, try dressing down the boat operator. No - instead threaten the tourist with deportation. This guy is probably better suit for a different career path that doesn't deal with tourists.
  8. I guess he knows enough about Western culture to play the race card. The problem being the comment was innocuous. What if the Italian had said, "Howdy," or "Che cosa succede," or "Wazzaup." I wonder how many times the Thai/Scot has used the word, "Farang" and "Sawatdee" when referring to white tourists - can we assume racist intent? Come on, I guess we all could pull the race card on that too. "Ni Hao!" 🤔 Much ado about nothing. Perhaps he can find a Soros backed, "Eco" NGO to run.
  9. The idiot doesn't know how to gracefully leave the scene. The doddering fool is a narcissist who will continue to make a fool out of himself until the day he dies. The post-presidential lecture scene is simply the way that corporations and universities reward a president for favors he did when in office. I understand that Biden wants 300K per "talk" and transport on a private jet. They can be legally rewarded with speaking fee from 250K to 500K for an hour speech. Then you wonder why these charlatans are multi-millionaires. And where does Harvard get the money to splurge on speaking fee? Private donors at the moment for Harvard, but if those taxpayer funds where available, they'd just be funnel the government largess right back into the former president's pocket. Hell of a game, 'eh?
  10. The IT Store that built my computer was in Computer Plaza and the North Side of the moat and that entire complex is now closed. Any idea where the store when to that were inside that shop?
  11. Definitely a Darwin Award in the making!
  12. I'd say that most politicians and the majority of global citizens want WWIII. Why not. It's a Fourth Turning. Gonna happen soon enough. So? Game On!
  13. Anwar Ibrahim's Thailand Visit: High-Stakes Meeting with Thaksin A picture of Mr. Ibrahim meeting with Thaksin. Well, they do have that right!
  14. My God man. You make light of vaccinations! Get your shots. You're life depends on them.
  15. Doesn't surprise me at all. If I wanted a dog like a pit bull or Doberman, I'd get it as a pup and I'd have it trained by a professional trainer. Other than that, I would never have one. Especially one from a shelter. To respect you, those aggressive types need bonds formed from the time they are pups. Pick one up at a shelter or adopt one, you're asking for problems unless you yourself are a profession dog trainer. I wouldn't risk it. Anyway, all the dogs I have are Heinz-57 Thai dogs which I homed as pups. Are any aggressive? Yep. They are home security. Can I control them? Yep. 100%. If I hadn't raised them from pups, then I might not be so sure. But I raised them all from pups. They know their place in the pack structure, and I am the Pack Leader.
  16. I'm not much in the way of an audiophile. I don't have a stereo system so I don't keep up on audio gear. However I need to buy a 5 meter XLR cable for a bass amp that I recently purchases. I'm not sure where you can find XLR cables. I need one ASAP so ordering it online isn't going to work. Any ideas where they are sold in CM. I'll be in Chiang Mai tomorrow.
  17. Which reminds me of a joke, Benny Hill I believe. A old woman runs to catch a lorry. The conductor, and turbaned man from Punjab states to the lady, "I'm sorry ma'am, but I'm Ram Cram Full." To which the elderly woman retorts, "I don't care what your name is, I just want on the lorry!"
  18. Essentially the UK under it's, ironically, white elites who seem to share a rather dystopian vision wherein the UK becomes predominately a haven for "people of color" from third-world countries in the name of diversity. And then when any of the Anglo-Saxon and Celtic "white" natives, especially if these people are professed Christians, of the UK raise a voice in protest of policies which are becoming extreme forms of anti-white discrimination, yes, raise your voice in protest and be imprisoned for "hate crimes." It seems like a game to these elites from places like Oxford who come from "old money" and are bestowed titles like "Sir" and "Lord." The new game in town is to make the historic citizens of the UK into a maligned sub-class which becomes the focus for all manner of fabricated "crimes" and also are deliberately targeted in government sponsored discriminatory acts, reverse-racism as it were. It's a sick game. Orwell and Huxley visions of the future were a fiction based warming, but now it seems to have become a template to directed oppression toward those who ancestry in the British Isles goes back millennia. They are now targeted for erasure.
  19. Why do elites schools which essentially only the uber wealthy can afford to attend need the US government to subsidize it's base of wealthy students.
  20. Translated: "She works for our cabal of wealthy, powerful, and entitled elites of the world, and as such, she'll make Thailand's goals align with enriching the most wealthy people on the planet by taking steps to transfer what little wealth is left for the commoners, peasants, and human-sheep to us. Really, why do the "little people" need to control any money or assets? In our world where they are naught but units of human utility, they'll own nothing...and they'll be happy about it - or else!. In our WEF world, the world is by billionaires, for billionaires. In the future we'd like to see a return to the Thailand of old where society was a well oiled machine of Masters and Slaves. Ah - a return to the good old days krap! Eat ze bugz!"
  21. You know what is really scary. If 1 out of 35 kids are now autistic. I imagine in 20 years the new industry in places like the US will be care facility and care-takers for autistic adults. In 20 years the ratio might be up to 1 out of 17 kids being autistic. The major number of healthy adult taken out of the work force and then essentially becoming unproductive outside of care for autistic adults. It's mind-boggling. That will end so-called first-world country as they simple fold-in on themselves. After awhile society will look like herding sheep. All you need is a few good sheep dogs and a Shepard and a whole lot of docile sheep. Baaaaa.
  22. I'm sure it will be complete my 2080.
