  1. Phone up Red Barron m/c shop in Bkk and ask if they can help.
  2. All my time here I have a drink with drunken Thais and never seen aggression only them taking the pee out of each other and joking. I was in Maesot walking along by the river it was a lonely place and notice 2 guys behind me i was not sure what they were going to do but i grab a nice piece of bamboo i came across turn and look at them they stopped they looked turned and ran away. I stopped once on a soi in my village and asked a guy to stop hitting his wife and he just turned away and walked into the house she thank me. I once grabbed hold of a guy and put my fist up at him who walked into the restaurant and started punching his girlfriend who worked there in the stomach and slapping her around the head, I just couldn't just sit there and do nothing. I recently had a English twit offer me out in the street in my village over a silly desput and told him he was a silly man and he went away. I havent been set about yet if it happens it happens but I would never do anything to my knowledge to provoke anyone. I've been places at time where falangies are playing up and are out of order so i wouldn't stop them from getting laid into.
  3. A poster said if the name is in italics it means they are answering the thread.
  4. Well his lady picture kicking legs is the same as someone else's picture thingy whatever ya call it.
  5. His 2 brothers did, my dad was in the RAF do you think that it's only the army front line that had a tough time and suffer from PTSD.
  6. Learn one word of Thai a day. So after 14 days you know how to say one word in English. Alien. Learn basin Thai better.
  7. I concur, it was a case in those days just get on with it. The first time problems occur with people going war was in ww1 they shot them.
  8. You would be wrong in thinking such a thing, a tough upbringing make a tough man in mind.
  9. You said it, time to change your roommate.
  10. I don't understand all the new medical terms. Remember my dad talking about whats all this PTSD stuff they talk about these days coming back from a war. When we came home from ww2 my dad said me and my 3 brothers just got back to work and got on with it. I feel sorry for guys who have problems coming back from war these days so I guess because of more intents media and reporting the symptom is out there more. So i would say people with PTSD are weak compared to my dad and my uncles but maybe it was to do with there hard poor unbringing so war was a breeze. and somethink else they just had to deal with in life.
  11. Thats it Ariel so close ???? . What Vincent model what year. In my day it was BSA , Triumph mainly , Triton ahd Honda. Many years in uk fixed and serviced any bike.
  12. In what way do you define thrive when paths of someone's life can have roundabouts and they have to choose what exit to take.
  13. With good pressure settings and front and rear suspension set up which is limited at 170mph max my Mia noi is as steady as a rock. The AV79 and AV8 3D ultra sport have good reviews and for a Blade a excellent tyre Don't know what Vincent you refer to but i would say there's is no comparison with a 1993 Fireblade. Remember my Dad like the Vincent square four if i remember that correctly.
  14. It's only my personal experience with Michelin I'm not saying there not a good tyre. It's not like most bikers can test all types of tyres and makes in a lifetime is it. Fast bike Mag and Bike Mag did some good different tyre tests on different tyres and makes over the years independent of sales people. A lot cheaper tyres manufacturers have caught up now with the new technology technics available these days. If someone finds a tyre that suits their riding style on or off track thats what they tend to stick with, as I do. I have found Avon in Thailand for my Blade and they feel the same Bridges to me and cheaper so I'll stick with them. Oh!! What's FTM got to do with driving/riding. ????
  15. I only know of the Chang girls. ????????
  16. Sounds like to me you should be more assertive. As they say here up to you.
  17. Well i don't put my knee down anymore, and move around the bike like i did on track days. The Avon tyres are excellent road tyres for my Blade they give feed back just like the Bridgestones i liked did. Bridges and Pirelli have a good choice of sportbike tyres. Never liked bikes i rode with Michelin tyres on they seem to grip and grip and you went down no warning was my experience.
  18. Don't know what a krathang is ???? if anyone says anything to me i just say hope your Krathong don't sink.
  19. That about sums it up what ever your happy with stay with it. I got 3 bikes and i will put the cheapest on all of them if can find them. For my sports bike the cheapest ones i could find were in Bkk and a tyre i had not bought or used before and will buy again, other tyres i have used before were 4000 to 5000 baht more per set.
