  1. HomePro (and others) sell a good produce. A little pricy but it works: HG limescale remover The best way, of course, is to not let it build up in the first place. Which is why I wipe the shower after each use. (Two years and not limescale buildup. Clear glass.) Rather 3 minutes after each use than money, effort, and time to clean when it's bad.
  2. Just buy a different brand. It doesn't need to be Heinz. I remember my Dad paid $3 for one(!) Mangosteen in Canada. So really it's the same anywhere.
  3. You're watching too many SHTF and bug-out videos on YouTube.
  4. Dumb enough to come back.
  5. Sun blocking film on the windows. Sun blocking paint on the outside walls. Better quality windows. Curtains. A more powerful A/C.
  6. Yes. (Been wearing one for ages.) No. (If you plan on hiring a hooker.)
  7. This really shouldn't be news to anyone anymore. Like the tourist complaining that the 100 Baht Ray-Ban sunglasses were fake.
  8. If the system in the UK is better than Canada (which it most likely is because Canada Mail sucks) then it will take a week max.
  9. Som tum. Any steamed fish dish. Any soup in a clear broth. etc etc
  10. Legalize drugs to "ease the suffering" of one person who could obtain prescription drugs... what have you been smoking, are you crazy???
  11. Go to police and make a report. Take that letter to the bank. The bank will freeze the other person's account. (Maybe even reverse the charge.)
  12. An actual payout is far removed from winning a lawsuit. And until that point you'll be stuck with all fees. This is not the States. Arbitrate. Ombudsman.
  13. Apart from not doing as instructed, the electrician did nothing wrong. A neutral to the light is not required. Obvious answer would be to pull new wires, but whether that is worth the effort??? (I rewired a few switches and outlets in our house.) PS: "Most electricians here are idiots." and I'm quoting our interior designer and head contractor. Having seen some of the work and their disregard for requests, I'm open to believing that.
  14. And the next big thing will be fake Ozempic flooding the markets (mentioned in the news yesterday).
  15. Which is why I use a different bank now for this purpose.
  16. I don't have to justify my stay here to anyone. I don't have to justify my political views to anyone.
  17. From my experience, if you ask politely and it seems like a real emergency, then they'll let you use the bathroom which is reserved for staff.
  18. No, because the vast majority of hot and well-bread Thai women rarely marry foreigners.
  19. Flying is miserable (maybe different in Business or First). I just accept 14h of misery and get on with it.
  20. To the OP: Contact Dasa. Email them a list (in writing, no pictures) of what you've got. They don't like walk-ins and "here take this stuff".
  21. Yes, a man should know how to use a drill.
  22. I draw the line at live squid dipped in spicy sauce.
  23. It's very easy if you're legally married. Go to district office. If your marriage is not registered, I believe your wife needs to submit some documents why you as a resident in the house want a yellow book. (That's what an ex-colleague was told.) Your district office can confirm that.
  24. I can't say about layover, but I was rebooked on a China Eastern flight because I missed my connection. It was very good (plane, food, service).
