Don't blame Lazada, blame the seller. You could have returned it and Lazada would have refunded your money.
You could think of this as a cost of living there.
Or you could tell the landlord that you will be filing a complaint at revenue board (or whatever it's called) and accept the consequences. Likely he/she isn't paying tax on the rental income. The landlord might then be more cooperative.
Happens in condos, gated communities, etc.
Only option is for the juristic person to sue the non-paying owners; and in the meantime disable their “benefits” such as keycards, water, etc.
(We just went through this in our condo building with lawyer and court appearances. Eventually the non-payers relented and paid up.)
