  1. Don't waste any further time, money, effort on this. Buy a new-used car in Canada.
  2. Just FYI, in Germany (for example) you get a yellow vaccination 'passport' in which doctors record every single vaccination that you've received since you were born. Maybe he was referring to that. But, yes, the covid vaxx passport (which I also made an effort to get) has proven pretty useless.
  3. Wrong temple. I donated and got a buyer for my condo the next day.
  4. Do your due diligence in research (compare price, vendors, ask the vendor, etc). Because it was so cheap, just yesterday I asked a vendor if the item was made in Japan (as a Japan-made product was pictured) and the vendor replied that it was made in China. If you order and it's still crap, return it for a refund. I've gotten some excellent items; I've returned many that didn't meet expectations.
  5. Namyen Amethyst @ Bon Marche. https://maps.app.goo.gl/xcX4mJECGXgktGUcA?g_st=il You can also find the store on FB.
  6. Comprehensive. I needed FEWER documents than you listed when I renewed my marriage visa at CW a few weeks ago (tm30, kor-ror 2, blue book, etc - never needed those). Glue and scissors I also always bring. As for your "Personal Comment" that has also never been requested of me/us. But I fully agree to have a list of documents in ones files (mine is not as neat as yours) so that next year will be smooth sailing.
  7. OP... what meat do you consider inappropriate that is being consumed here in Thailand?
  8. You could browse HomePro or Thaiwatsadu (etc). They have trolleys in all different sizes and shapes.
  9. Any pharmacy (be it stand alone, or in a supermarket).
  10. Don't be surprised if your mail ends up anywhere else but your mailbox. It so easy for mail to "get lost" along the way.
  11. I'm cheap and won't pay for an agent.
  12. Why would that be a surprise? Seems obvious that documents must be new. We can't even use 4x6cm pictures from last year, because they must not be older than 3 months.
  13. If he really wanted to leave, he would. (Unless he has a mental disability.) IMHO, don't get involved.
  14. I ordered a treadmill and it broke after a few months. By then the store had disappeared. Live and learn. Some items you don't order; and everything must be checked immediately. (That's why the 3-day confirm order.) Don't blame Lazada, blame the seller. You could have returned it and Lazada would have refunded your money.
  15. People settle for too little too easily. Marry someone you can't live without, or don't marry them.
  16. I like Lazada. So far positive experiences (multiple times) when requesting a refund due to bad quality or defects.
  17. Great idea. Who will pay for that? Tourist fee?
  18. You could think of this as a cost of living there. Or you could tell the landlord that you will be filing a complaint at revenue board (or whatever it's called) and accept the consequences. Likely he/she isn't paying tax on the rental income. The landlord might then be more cooperative.
  19. Whether or not (or when) the hotel updates the TM30 is never certain.
  20. Interesting. I will be in a similar situation in the foreseeable future. Would you share your resource/link stating that it’s illegal? THX
  21. Tomboy lifestyle does not always signify a certain sexual orientation. Generalizations can me made but are not definitive.
  22. Happens in condos, gated communities, etc. Only option is for the juristic person to sue the non-paying owners; and in the meantime disable their “benefits” such as keycards, water, etc. (We just went through this in our condo building with lawyer and court appearances. Eventually the non-payers relented and paid up.)
  23. Would anyone be so kind and explain the difference between Non-OA and Non-O? Much appreciated. Thank you.
  24. Cham Yeam Border Market. A little far for a quick souvenir though, but doable if you plan to visit Rayong anyway.
  25. You can apply as early as 45 days before and up to the date stamped in your passport.
