  1. You could browse HomePro or Thaiwatsadu (etc). They have trolleys in all different sizes and shapes.
  2. Any pharmacy (be it stand alone, or in a supermarket).
  3. Don't be surprised if your mail ends up anywhere else but your mailbox. It so easy for mail to "get lost" along the way.
  4. I'm cheap and won't pay for an agent.
  5. Why would that be a surprise? Seems obvious that documents must be new. We can't even use 4x6cm pictures from last year, because they must not be older than 3 months.
  6. If he really wanted to leave, he would. (Unless he has a mental disability.) IMHO, don't get involved.
  7. I ordered a treadmill and it broke after a few months. By then the store had disappeared. Live and learn. Some items you don't order; and everything must be checked immediately. (That's why the 3-day confirm order.) Don't blame Lazada, blame the seller. You could have returned it and Lazada would have refunded your money.
  8. People settle for too little too easily. Marry someone you can't live without, or don't marry them.
  9. I like Lazada. So far positive experiences (multiple times) when requesting a refund due to bad quality or defects.
  10. Great idea. Who will pay for that? Tourist fee?
  11. You could think of this as a cost of living there. Or you could tell the landlord that you will be filing a complaint at revenue board (or whatever it's called) and accept the consequences. Likely he/she isn't paying tax on the rental income. The landlord might then be more cooperative.
  12. Whether or not (or when) the hotel updates the TM30 is never certain.
  13. Interesting. I will be in a similar situation in the foreseeable future. Would you share your resource/link stating that it’s illegal? THX
  14. Tomboy lifestyle does not always signify a certain sexual orientation. Generalizations can me made but are not definitive.
  15. Happens in condos, gated communities, etc. Only option is for the juristic person to sue the non-paying owners; and in the meantime disable their “benefits” such as keycards, water, etc. (We just went through this in our condo building with lawyer and court appearances. Eventually the non-payers relented and paid up.)
  16. Would anyone be so kind and explain the difference between Non-OA and Non-O? Much appreciated. Thank you.
  17. Cham Yeam Border Market. A little far for a quick souvenir though, but doable if you plan to visit Rayong anyway.
  18. You can apply as early as 45 days before and up to the date stamped in your passport.
  19. No difference in price getting it. Main differences (without listing all other items required) are: Marriage needs wife to accompany each year when renewing; and 400k. Retirement needs health insurance; and 800k. Which one is better? Comes down to personal preference.
  20. Go with your second option: Cancel visa, get extension, then leave. Withdraw money, keep a few k Baht, make sure mobile banking works, and do a transaction every now and then to keep the account active.
  21. Yes. But only for Xmas and not a month before. I think it looks nice. Tradition, just like watching National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation or old James Bond movies over the Xmas holidays.
  22. Any mall, shopping center, or super store (BigC, etc) will have them. Usually somewhere at the car park level or entry/exit.
  23. No. You will have to start your visa application from scratch. You might want to plan to return on a proper 60-day tourist visa.
  24. Inform politely and return. I expect a free replacement or no charge. Have done that many times with pizza (raw dough) and steak that came rare (ordered medium).
  25. Easy: yes. Wife and original marriage certificate need to be present so that the officer can take a group photo.
