I went to local amphur in Pathum Thani few weeks ago to apply for my yellow book.
Lady in the amphur said I need my UK passport certified by the UK embassy, also translated into Thai and then certified at ministry of foreign affairs at chaengwattana.
Okay I done what the lady in the amphur asked.
I went back to the amphur in Pathum Thani this morning and was send upstairs with all my certified document's to see the chief.
The chief said that I also need a copy of my UK birth certificate certified by the UK embassy plus translated into Thai and then certified at ministry of foreign affairs at chaengwattana.
Also the chief wants a certificate from immigration of the retirement visa ??, I told her everything she needs is in my passport ie O visa stamp plus my retirement extension
stamps, she was having non of it.
The chief also ask me why I not married my fiancé...
Im in two mind to forget the all thing.
I went through exactly the same thing here in Lomsak. My birth certificate translation was the most difficult to get one for them they thought looked legal enough. But got it.
I had bought a Phantom at local dealer and they would not give me green book till I had yellow book. I quess they were booking me ha ha.I paid cash of course for the phantom so wanted the green book.. It can all be done just a head ache to do it.
But yellow book has came in handy a few times so worth the effort.

He also stated that all terrorists are Muslims, and that the vast majority of Mulsim immigrants stay on welfare.
He called for immigration that favoured “European Christian” values and demnanded a plebiscite on which migrants can come to Australia.
Politically incorrect and rather unwise - but there are many who agree with him.
He is being accused of hate speech and racial vilification and they want him suspended.
But what is the left wing media up in arms and unhinged outrage about?
And on what are they basing their claims that he is a Nazi and Jew hater?
This....................Quote: “The final solution to the immigration problem is, of course, a popular vote.”
What he said was that the Australian people should vote on whether so many Muslims should be allowed to immigrate into Australia.
But because he used the words "final solution" he is being accused of all sorts of Nazi atrocities.
It is unbelieveable. The media and lefties attack with venom anyone that dare questions Mulim immigration in Australia.
Remind you of anyone??
Yep. The Nazis. Speaking out against offical dogma was not allowed.
I dont 100% agree with his speech, but he has the right to say it (in Parliament), and many people agree with him.
Especially those living near all the Muslim gangs in Melbourne and Sydney (and whose relatives are in Sweden and other European countries).
You said it the best I have read here on TV for a long time. It takes a few guys like you to speak the truth so the more timid or easily intimidated can gather the courage to speak up. Well done.

Correct me if I am wrong please.
But to call Christine a transgender woman is not PC . Should she not be addressed as transgender and leave it at that. Not transgender woman or transgender man.. Transgender is transgender it speaks for itself.

It has gotten to the point for me that I just do not care any more. Most world leaders now do not do things for their country. They do it for votes to stay in power and control and get rich.
Many young people buy into the idea we must help all these refuges and illegal immigrants. Well kiddies you reap what you sow.
I will be long dead when the youth of today have to face every day of their lives the consequences of their actions during these times. When the world goes from peaceful to non peaceful every where. Good countries destroyed by refuges and immigrants.
It does not matter that in the past immigration was needed and a good thing that is history. Immigration now is tool to place enough people inside a country to allow them to destroy the very fabric of that country that made it desirable.
The youth want it they will get it up to them.
I am sure this problem reported in this thread is a direct result of refugees and immigration.

Last time I was in Makro Petchabun they had plenty of minced beef with fat at the fresh meat counter at the back of the store. Always get plenty for burgers ,spaghetti chilli etc.
Thanks. I saw the minced too but it never dawned on me to buy it and mix later with the steaks I diced up. Thank you for your help.

My question is.
Why did sanook even bother to write this? Why did they think it was news?
The police do lots of things every day but most things do not make the news. To even consider making this news is weird.
Perhaps told to write this I would say.

Where do you guys get beef here with any fat on it. The only place I can find with decent beef around Petchebun is Macro and the meat is pure red meat no fat. I buy steaks and chop them up to make hamburgers and all I have is red meat I would ;like some fat in it to give it more taste.
I would really like to have a roast with enough drippings to make a good gravy.
So wheer d you guys get your beef? I would travel to get some.

What is he suppose to say.
No one in their right mind would admit it if they were rigging it. How is this news?

A good example of why to not bring a weapon into a fight. The guy in brown brought the sword. In the end the guy in green had it. The guy in the brown is lucky he did not end up chopped liver.

n fact he is so confident there is no naughtiness going on that he is prepared to pay 100,000 baht if it can be proved otherwise.
Is he looking for anything specific? Can it be couples of both sex or gay or lesbian which pictures does he want? Have to know what he wants so he can get the right ones. Also why should he be allowed to see pics that he did not ask for?

The death penalty is supposed to deter others from committing the same crime.
The fact is, the statistics show it doesn’t work.
I am not so sure about that so lets just keep killing scum like this till we have more info. That is the way things are done now a days right.Do not accept any statements till everything is proven beyond a doubt.

I feel you misread or misunderstood my post.
It is not a case of rose colored glasses. It is a case of the changes being made to clean up the streets are negative.
30 years ago when I first came to Sukhumvit RD I could walk the street any time of the day or night and feel safe. There were always people selling noodles or whatever. There was always activety on the street and people. It was safe. For the next 25 years it remained that way except for blacks started to come and they are aggressive and scary, but they were kept under control so it was still safe.
Now after dark it is silent nothing happens. Isolated streets at night with big black guys coming up to you and long spaces with no other people around simply do not feel safe. I have stopped going to BKK for this reason. I really liked the street night life on Sukhumvit. Now I have no interest in walking down it in fear someone will jump out of a doorway and mug me.
I suggest you read my post again and see if now you can grasp what I meant.

Well looks like Pattaya is out for me now too many military there on the streets.
Bangkok white ghetto on Sukhumvit between soi 1 and 21 is out to scary now with all the black drug dealers and no street merchants.
What does that leave me to go the Pitsanulok night market by the river?

You got that right. I think any one who flys all the way to Thailand for a holiday wants to have fun. Not worry about the military raiding the bar they are in. Or having to walk between soldiers to go out for the night.

This is on Sukhumvit, on the road from Nana to Soi Cowboy at around 1am. This area was once brimming with street food, i signed a long rent for an appartment in the area because i just loved the lively scene back in 2016 (before the ban). Yes the pavements have been reclaimed - reclaimed back as a car park for cars to park. Try moving them in an emergency ! This area is now dead.
Side Soi on Sukhumvit - another area that was bristling with street food and vendors. Now a car park for motorbikes. The best street food i had was on this area. The lady cooked freshly made burgers every evening, and a great breakfast (at night!) - it was fresh and amazing to sit out and eat. That's the type of experience that made me want to leave the UK and stay and invest in Bangkok. The food has gone, now we have parked motorbikes.
Now the vendors have been cleared, cars and bikes just drive on pavements.
I am the same as you. I came to Thailand because it was exotic and vibrant. Could get street food any time of the day. There was hustle and bustle. It was alive. I used to love my walks down Sukhumvit window shopping for things. I bought many things along there just to buy them. I did not need the thing or have a use for it. I just liked it and I enjoy the barter. It had a pulse. That pulse is gone.
I felt safe with people every where night. and day. Now I get the feeling after 9 pm that I could get mugged walking down Sukhumvit by black drug dealers or desperate Thais.

My father used to give his whole pay cheques to my mom. My younger brother does the same. If you are married it is common money anyways.
Neither father or brother have ever been out of Canada.

Thailand never ceases to amaze me. They have had immigration line up problems for the last few years and said they were doing what they could to fix it. Now Chinese numbers are down they can just like magic open 4 check in lanes for the chinese. That is magic huh.

KSR is constantly changing on its own. I did not even know about it till I was in Thailand and some guys I met wanted to see it so I went with them. That was 30 years ago. I went back 10 years ago and it had changed so much all that was the same was the name and fake goods for sale. First time there it cheap questhouses, cheap pad thia and plastic chair restaurants. Last time I went it was more like cool bars with bamboo chairs,Over priced Thai dishs, and big screen Tv's. May as well be in tourist town anywhere.

I think speaks volumes. People are suffering already So they will just get on with it on their own and work for a better future

That is the spirit that made England great. Good to see there are still men out there that will rebuild .

Do not panic, these moves will allow/ make it easier for Chinese tour buses to get in and out.
Chinese shops and restaurants will take over , the buses will let them off, they will be directed to shop and eat, create havoc drop butts all over the place, throw food scraps on the floor or leave on table cloth , then be picked up for next stop. Pattaya.
I think you have it right. The Chinese tour buses need a place to park. The Chinese tourist will not care about the character of KSR they will just want a picture of themselves there and then leave for next tour bus stop.

So what's next? I think there is no answer for Pattaya. It will just fade away and become an old resort city. that lost its attraction.

I quess that puts an end to chinese criminals and drug dealers parking their money in real estate in NZ Unless they can get an Aussie sponsor or in the future a Singapore sponsor.
