  1. OSCE: Russia uses torture chambers, civilians as human shields in Ukraine A new report by the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) details violent acts committed by Russian soldiers in Ukraine between April 1 and June 25. The report noted several particularly brutal cases, including rape and gang rape of children in front of family members, summary executions, and torture of civilians in torture chambers, all of which constitute crimes against humanity.
  2. the Ukrainians will be able to do it themselves. we need to keep delivering better weapon systems to them. the HIMARS seem to be working well, I hope they receive a lot more. unfortunately, Ukraine will need time to achieve success, which will cost many lives and injure many people. but NATO going in would provide the ruzzian fascists with a good reason to use at least one tactical nuke in Ukraine, which itself will cause 25.000 to 500.000 almost immediate deaths depending on where they drop it. And since such a thing is totally unacceptable, it would certainly lead to further escalation, the best scenario (the least escalation) being NATO imposing a no-fly zone, and daring the ruzzians to do it again... but why wouldn't they ? instead, NATO should concentrate on delivering more short and long range air defense systems to take down all ruzzian drones and at the same time make Ukraine too deadly for ruzzian aircraft to venture in. It was hard to watch ruzzian planes and helis attacking in Eastern Ukraine, I was always wondering why they could do that without being shot down quickly. Ukraine needs more and better air defense systems, the sky there needs to become basically deadly to anything ruzzian.
  3. the missile hit exactly here: https://goo.gl/maps/D6dQGrDgTtfxvpLB7 the "military target" nearby is the Ukrainian Air Force's Officer's Club.

  5. sadly, the system is not being delivered with long range rockets, but with medium-range rockets (50 miles). the system itself can fire at 180 miles if using the right rockets. I hope though that the press has been fed decoy information.
  6. I'm 100% for ICEV ... using hydrogen. Electric vehicles only make sense for heavy usage, such as at transport companies, taxis, etc.
  7. Even now, the aid remains limited. Ukraine didn't receive any armaments with useful ranges of 500-1000Km. Ukraine should be striking Russia's naval bases in Sevastopol and target the Kherch bridge, military infrastructure, but instead it's still David against Goliath. Ukraine's artillery is outnumbered 1 to 15. A good step up would be to send 5000 artillery to Ukraine.

  9. Publication of photos or films showing people while they are on private time should not be allowed except if they were aware they were being photographed/filmed and manifested no objection to it.
  10. no, the Ukrainians aren't stubborn. they are defending their home.
  11. Ruzzia has no winning nuclear scenario. Attacking a NATO member would lead to a war in which Ruzzia would be isolated. Using a tactical nuke on Ukraine will probably not result in a retaliation, but likely in a NATO-enforced no-fly zone over Ukraine, destruction of any interfering Ruzzian AA and planes (including from within Ruzzia), ultimatum to Ruzzian forces to leave Crimea and Donbass, maybe destruction of their Black Sea fleet and destruction of all Ruzzian military installations on the territory of Ukraine. Interesting article on the subject: https://www.theatlantic.com/ideas/archive/2022/06/russia-ukraine-nuclear-weapon-us-response/661315/
  12. I think the next Bond Movie needs a villain based on reality.
  13. actually, Western doctors perform gender assignment surgery on babies on the youngest age in cases where the baby's gender is ambiguous.
  14. Correct. All Putin has to do is to agree that a maritime corridor between Odessa and Romania be protected by NATO.

According to Ukraine’s Operational Command “South,” three Russian soldiers were at a “waterfront cafe” in Russian-occupied Kherson when a shooter opened fire at them. 17. no more dangerous leisure activities for him.
  18. I think you are too restrictive. A ladyboy isn't necessarily a transgender woman. Trying to make everything fit into the man or woman dichotomy is borderline intolerant.
  19. "won't be used for watching TV channels. " "It needs to act as a computer" "wireless keyboard and mouse" unless you describe better the intended use and reason for the constraints, it will be difficult to provide you with better ideas. the best I could summarize your requirement would be "screen/monitor that integrates a computer" in one piece. the device coming closest to your requirement would be an apple imac, except for the price. insisting on a one-piece device does not make economical or technical sense (think about codec* updates, parts failing, ease of upgrade, etc. ), unless there are "reasons" you might want to explain. * regarding codec updates, already H265 (or VP9 in apple tech) requires a fair amount of computing power to decode the high compression, that's why you won't find any very cheap screen device doing it. Devices that do it, will typically offer smart-TV functions, but IMO it's a waste to put such a processor in a TV/screen. And I expect that non-computer devices currently supporting H265/VP9 will not be able to be upgraded to support whatever next compression standard that will be released due to insufficient computing power. if you give up the "one piece" requirement, the best solution would be an android streaming box + a cheap screen. and oh yeah, I had horrendous experience with TCL brand, both the quality of the product and their warranty/support service. never again.
  20. please point out which of your requirements a basic computer does not meet
