    It's all about a positive mind set. When you get past your sell by date and realise things where not really better in the good old days. Yes it would be nice to be a bit younger but i would not like to travel back in time to achieve it.

    my Thai insurance company pay direct to the hospital. For decades no problem with claims. However in February this year my insurance agreed terms with hospitial admin prior to operation. However the main hospital in Pattaya requested a deposit of 250,000 baht from me prior to my operation. The amount was repaid after but if a new hospitial policy defeated the object of having expensive insurance in the first place.

    Thais are paranoid about foreign workers. Most Thai aviators are trained abroad and the addition of some foreign pilots would raise the standard as there is a shortage of aviators.

    i don't know your location. For example in Chaing Mai or Pattaya a visit to the local station is recommended. The staff are helpful at both locations.

They could not win negotiations for Yinlucks return while he remained in prison for the corrupt rice pledging scheme. Yinluck evaded prison by fleeing abroad like her brother before her.

    The dog ownetr should have kept the dog under control. The dog was obviously allowed to roam freely. If the dog did in fact kill the chickens i can understand the anger of their owner. The irresponsible dog owner should be punished also.

    if you are interested in units in older condos check the finances in the sinking fund. A healthy balance would indicate sound management and a buffer for emergencies.

    Dual pricing is common in most Asia countries. I think it's ok that local people should have reduced entry fees. The problem is the 'markup' for foreigners is so disproportionate that visitors think the officals are being too greedy and out to fleece foreign visitors. This deters people like myself from visiting these so called attractions.
