  1. "I turned myself in at Buengkom Police Station at 8am. Now I am waiting to come to Phuket.

Thank you, thank you to the police at Buengkom – because of rain and traffic I was unable to get a flight to Phuket on time, so I went to the nearest police station."

...and also, like this I don't have to pay for my flight home...thank you taxpayers

This is at a Dolphin Park. My goal was to make it look like a nature shot. Use of landscape orientation gives me lots of space to work.

    First come the tools:

    - rotate to straighten the horizon. - crop the crap, and in so doing make it a tight portrait. - clone stamp to get rid of all the artificial stuff, also take care of their reflections and shadows. - healing brush to get rid of patterns introduced by clone stamp and minor blemishes.

    Now comes the filters"

    - tonal contrast to put the drama in, tweak it! - a bit of warmth to balance the cold. - sharpen, not too little, not too much, just right. - denoise, if you have to, but without extra sharpening.

    finished.

    ...ahm, save the bugger!

  3. Two shots. Same location, different tones.

This is has more colors, larger crop and different feeling. Yet, kind of creepy.

Which one do you prefer and most importantly, why? I wish to understand what other people look in pictures. Why something catches the eye and some not?

That one is much more sinister to me, b&w goes very well with his facial expression...is he hiding a body behind them squid?
