  1. Just look at the hands and wrists of a 9 year old...there are no muscles to hold a gun straight, now imagine a Uzi on automatic...bam, bam, bam, bam, going up, up, up, left, right...now I would like to ask the parents and the gun range guys one question: Do you think this incident could have been avoided with a bit of thinking?

Answer; No, because the parents wanted the home movie and pictures at all costs.

  2. He said each set of the Polymerase Chain Reaction kits cost Bt300,000 and they can carry out 100 tests. There are three different brands of test kits imported from Germany and China.

    From 2 days ago:

In another development, Dr Apichai Mongkol, director-general of Medical Sciences Department, said 100 sets of German-made medical equipment used for testing Ebola disease on suspected patients will arrive in Thailand today. Each medical kit costs about Bt3,000, he added.

Ahem, where is the scratch-my-head smiley?

  3. Why do we need a coup-maker to do simple things?

    The Nation

Clampdown on illegal beach vendors and strict law enforcement should have been done under democratic governments

Yes, these simple things should have been done under democratic governments, but they weren't. Therefore, yes, you need a coup-maker to do simple things.

Is this simple assessment clear and simple enough for you to understand?

The next logical question is: Do we need politicians who can't even do simple things?

  4. "I am only here to help you, the media and relevant businesses to understand the law," said Second Lieutenant Taweesak Jintajiranan. "This law was put into effect due to the rapidly growing costs of alcohol to this nation. Alcohol-related accidents have increased significantly in recent years. While the government makes 70 billion baht income per year from alcohol tax, the cost to the government is upwards of 150 billion baht."

"And I am here to tell you that this law was put into effect, because we, the BiB, do not have the motivation to properly enforce any existing laws. So, therefore we lay the blame of these accidents and incidents squarely on the shoulders of the industry, can't really blame ourselves now, can we? On the other hand, if you wish to consume alcohol as before, just visit the establishments owned by your friendly neighborhood cop and all should be right as rain."

On a side note, couldn't they find a First Lieutenant to give this speech?

  5. Welcome Mr. klauskunkel,

At first sight your alley appears powerful and controlled in presentation. [edit] Looking closer I love the dominating green sunblind which indirectly undermines the presence of yellow.

Did you neglect most present shadows on purpose?

    Yours,

    DAL

    Happy you like it.

I mostly just try to frame the shot the way it appeals the most to me. When I'm in the field I don't plan or think much, shooting becomes very fluid to me.

When I do tripod stuff or macro or night shots, that's when I plan a lot.
