"An unelected government would affect the country's reputation and stability," Yingluck warned
Affect the country's reputation...with whom? Foreigners? Since when do Thai people give a hoot about what foreigners think:
Corruption, slave labor, child pornography, fake name brand industry, exploitation of endangered species, Rohingyas, Ferrari Boy, Jet Skis, 500 baht fine for assaulting tourists, Jet Set Monk, Saudi Jewelry Scandal...
it's an unending list, spanning decades and many different governments, so what's a bit of unelected government going to do to Thailand's reputation? Huh?

I believe that we are all Thais so we won't harm each other," the policewoman said.

Deceived alright, they were promised a happy ending.
Yup, the ending was happy, just not for them

They are all junkies, addicted to politics, can't let go....any other job/profession just won't do, it's got to be politics and nothing else. No compromise, no alternative, no option...why?...you ask, why?...because they love lording it over others, that's all.

Somchai said he decided to join the Pheu Thai because it is a party that deserves public faith. He said he has faith in the party leader, its executives and policies so he decided to join the Pheu Thai after completing the ban period.
He also said that during the ban period he tried his hand at an honest job, but it just wasn't for him...

She was seen talking to Army commander General Prayuth Chan-ocha during an oath taking ceremony for His Majesty the King at the Army Club tomorrow.
How did she manage that? Whizzing forward and backward in time, like it's nothing! If she has this kind of super power, why is she in trouble now?
(...I am being facetious)

Mr Surasak said the rice sales will enable the Commerce Ministry to pay Bt30 billion to the Bank of Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives in the final quarter of the year.
...what he was thinking, however, was: 15 billion to Yingluck and her cabinet, 10 billion to red MPs, leaves about 5 billion for us loyal civil servants...life's not bad...SELLLL, SELLLL, SELLLL!!!

Q : As prime minister, Yingluck [shinawatra] cannot avoid the responsibility of solving the problems.
No, she can’t.
...really? Not even with a quick holiday abroad?

"Now we are running on a generator," Police Lieutenant General Prawut Thavornsiri told AFP

Individuals or groups prone to agitation or provocation
prone in this context means "having a tendency to"..., which is not an absolute. So, how and who determines which persons or groups are prone?
Psychological spot-checks? Fill out a questionnaire? Take a poll? Measure the pulse? Breathalyzers? Chalerm?

Yingluck insists govt fighting corruption
and the strategy is to suck Thailand until nothing is left, then corruption will stop. For a time. Hibernate. Regroup...

"And Hugo Swire, minister of state for the British Foreign Office, said: "As a friend of Thailand, the UK urges all sides to adhere to their commitment to the values of democracy and rule of law in the interests of Thailand's peace and stability."
Now that's diplomacy. Saying something that means nothing at all.
I found a meaning: whoever wins will have our support

"I affirm that the government respects the three branches of sovereign power"
can you name them?

Yingluck denies Thaksin is 'mastermind' of govt; shrugs off 'stupid' comment
I believe her.
Who needs a mastermind when there is so much fine talent in government:
Chalerm - belligerent, incoherent, uncontrollable, greedy
Plodprasob - foot in mouth, hand in mouth, foot and mouth disease, greedy
Jatuporn - uncouth, thuggish, loutish, greedy
Yingluck - duh, what happened ?, duh, blond
-
Police also charged him with verbally stimulating people

Yingluck also urges former Democrat MPs, who led protesters to government buildings, to solve conflicts through parliamentary procedure.
Oh, now parliamentary procedure is useful? Last time parliamentary procedure was a mockery with the rushing of the amnesty bill...

'Apart from the customary kickbacks from contractors, which have encouraged politicians and government policy makers to initiate government projects, the flood- and water-management scheme has allegedly resulted in extensive land-grabbing in many provinces. This so-called practice of building "ghost villages" has been widely reported, but so far, it has not been investigated by local authorities or the police.'
So on yet another day when so-called politics is eating away at the heart of Thailand, the cancer of everyday, commonplace corruption continues unabated.
And no one gives a toss.
...or a dam
