U.S. Supreme Court may soon expand gun rights amid roiling debate
radiochaser replied to onthedarkside's topic in World News
At the time the First Amendment was written, the predominant writing implement was a goose quill. Everybody should return to that and then we can send comments by the same type of mail system they had back then! Nobody needs the internet, or computers! By the way, an RPG requires extensive licensing and permissions from the U.S. government before it can be purchased. Much more stringent regulations than any mere rifle or pistol. Getting the tax stamp to purchase an RPG could take as long as 1 year before it is issued. As an aside, there is a company in Texas that makes RPG's and launchers. But their customers are military organizations outside the United States. Oh, and an assault rifle, the M16, costs between $30,000.00 to $60,000.00 and the permit to buy one also takes up to a year before it is issued. -
I flew on one out of Newark Airport. I like the single stop travel better. My upcoming trip will go through Japan. I will have a layover of several hours during which I will be in a business class lounge, where I can brush my teeth, shower, shave, and put on clean clothes. Then sit around, nap, eat, watch aircraft take off or land, wonder around the airport, etc. It seems that I can also adjust to the time change better doing it this way, being exposed to sunlight (albeit through windows) during my brief stay in either Asia or Europe. Then catch my continuing flight to Thailand and repeat on the return trip.

WHO says it's investigating monkeypox DNA in semen

Sort of like, finding HIV in ejaculate I guess. -
Isn't that exactly what 10's of millions, if not 100's of millions of people do every day all over the World, when they drink alcoholic beverages? Drink until they are drunk and unable to walk straight and/or talk coherently? Except for a very minute minority of people, those who smoke marijuana don't cause trouble after they get high or zonked, as opposed with those that drink alcoholic beverages! As a non-smoker and a non-drinker, I would rather be with a group of 100 people who smoke marijuana and get zonked than in a group of 10 drinkers!

Not me. I had it back in March of 2020. It wasn't as bad as the flu I had (decades ago). Also did not come near as bad as the last case of pneumonia that I had, which nearly killed me when I was in my early 30's! I did have a lot of difficulty breathing but, because I have COPD, I used my albuterol inhaler several times a day until I was over it.

That is true. Decades ago, in the early 1970's I returned to the bungalow after work and found a Thai man I barely knew and a Thai woman I didn't know, fornicating in my bed. I was surprised and they were embarrassed as hell! When I talked to the girlfriend, she said she forgot to lock the bungalow when she left. More likely the couple asked if they could use the bed and she said yes, before she left.

How long is a Thailand Pass valid ?
radiochaser replied to Baron Samedi's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
I just read your answer to this question on a thread that asked the same question as I did. My shots were completed March of 2021, before traveling to Thailand in April 2021. So, this does bring up the additional question that was also asked in the other thread. How long are the two shots good for? In my case, I was sick for weeks in March of 2020 but I was not diagnosed with covid by a doctor. My doctor who I saw while sick in 2020, only said I did not have strep throat and did not have the flu. Shortly after seeing my doctor, I lost all sense of taste! One year later I was vaccinated with the Moderna vaccine. -
Here is a link to a pdf from a government agency. It does not specify which fruits, only says ripe fruits, cheese and heated milk. It does provide some additional information. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=2ahUKEwjq_-zz2pr4AhU1MX0KHTUZCyIQFnoECBMQAQ&url=https%3A%2F%2Fdhss.delaware.gov%2Fdph%2Ffiles%2Facetaldehydefaq.pdf&usg=AOvVaw3mOVf-00rh1POl7nd_zsjt

I followed the link to the Thai Pass website and found this term, "Fully Vaccinated". What exactly does, "Fully Vaccinated", mean?
