Plus zero recognition of the Israeli Settlements in the West Bank (now approx 700.000 Israelis) and the ongoing killing and infrastructure destruction by Israeli forces and Settlers. trump is not offering a "solution" to the Israeli / Palestinian conflict just seeking opportunities to enrich his family.

They are located in the original homelands of Arabs. Remember the Jews committed genocide of the Canaanites, on the order of the Jewish G-d to occupy the land now know as Israel. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arabs The Canaanites were an indigenous group of people in the southern Levant whose annihilation was commanded by God in the Hebrew Bible. This event is often interpreted as genocide.

So far not one country has claimed it will receive refugees from Gaza based upon trump's Gaza project announcement. Possibly a great deal of noise over nothing, Begs the question why would trump talk up a project without prior buy-in-from regional players, except for Israel; red meat for the MAGA crowd?

Unbelievable. Where will the 2 million plus Gazans relocate? If Jordon / Egypt agree to relocation after repeatedly declining to do so who's paying for infrastructure job creation etc etc. trump says if necessary he will send US military resources. Overall comes across as "look there" as a diversion to his domestic disruptions. Interesting times ahead, with likely more agony for the Palestinians. On a side note Israel has requested more armoured bulldozers from the US!

Nobody is forcing people to take fentanyl, If not fentanyl it will likely be an equally dangerous drug developed domestically such as Krokodil in Russia. Where effort is required is on mental health, education / social education and so on. The so called War on Drugs has cost billions without much success, people will always find Class A drugs, needs a different approach to just interdiction / jailing.

The flow of illegals and fentanyl across the Canadian border was already minimal. The same outcome could have been achieved without all the noise show for MAGA and truly annoying a close ally. Let's see what difference the actions by Mexico make, one would have though the migrant policy changes by trump would already had sufficient impact on illegals flow. What additional resources has trump committed to interdict fentanyl, opioid abuse within USA and weapons shipments to Mexico? PRC has already announced additional tariffs on the US. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/live/2025/feb/04/donald-trump-tariffs-live-blog-news-updates-canada-trudeau-mexico-china

Trump's Trade War to Raise Prices on a Wide Range of Products

Illegal migrant crossings from Canada to USA represent APPROX 1.2% of the current annual total and Fentanyl border seizures about 0.2% entering USA, would be fairly tough to improve on those stats. Maybe trump can come up with a trillion dollars to build a border fence to reduce the numbers by say 10% - Lol.... As the Russians have found cracking down on heroin only lead to the development of and even more addictive and destructive drug "krokodil" What's trump planning to do regards illegal drug consumption in the US, arrest all drug users, build camps in Alaska to house them until they're drug free, send them back to US and repeat? Or has he actually got a workable realistic plan on how to change the US drug culture and transform society - don't think so. -
You think applying tariffs will slow down fentanyl smuggling and illegal migrant crossings? How about the US taking action to stop illegal crossings from US to Canada? US stopping illegal fentanyl consumption in the US etc etc etc - trump's a moron. Example stats... Canada has been experiencing an influx of individuals crossing the Canada-United States border between ports of entry https://www.irb-cisr.gc.ca/en/statistics/Pages/Irregular-border-crosser-statistics.aspx

And who pays? The American tax payer, that's who! Some Americans seem to be ignorant Plus trump has announced 10% tax oil on Canadian energy oil imports, including heating oil upon which the US consumer is reliant. Canadian crude oil will be subject to a lower, 10% tariff, which could mitigate the effect on U.S. gasoline prices. Midwestern oil refineries are heavily dependent on Canadian crude. https://www.npr.org/2025/02/01/g-s1-46010/trump-tariffs-mexico-canada-and-china-imports

President Donald Trump caused outrage this week when he blamed the first fatal commercial air crash on U.S. soil in over a decade on "diversity" and disabled workers — just days after hollowing out airline safety regulator staff, reportedly on tech billionaire Elon Musk's advice. But he made the entire "obscene" spectacle even worse with a new executive action that doubled down on his conspiracy theory while denying his own responsibility, Trump's 'obscene' move takes his air crash conspiracy theory to new low: analyst

During his confirmation hearing Thursday morning for the position of FBI Director, Trump nominee Kash Patel broke with his boss over the J6 rioters convicted of assaulting police officers, emphatically stating that they should be "imprisoned." As requested by Centre Right (Oz) version. Americans have a unique and weird understanding of the left in politics... Reuters/Ipsos Poll (January 28, 2025): Shows a significant decline in Trump's approval rating to 45%, with disapproval rising to 46%. Oh dear, dear......good job polls count for diddly squat.

Trump keen to blame diversity and inclusion for Washington DC crash

Nearly every time trump opens his mouth he uses his voice for weaponisation of politics, an issue he constantly whined and lied about when he was out of power. The man is the incarnation of the meaning of "despicable"- 119 replies

Ignorance is bliss eh? The European Union is the largest development donor in the world. Together, EU countries provided over €98 billion in development and humanitarian funding in 2022. This means Team Europe provides almost half - 43% - of all funding globally.
