  1. OP: If it is required to have a prostatectomy, don't omit to have a follow up PSA test one month later. If cancer, it is possible the cancer has spread which would likely require ongoing hormone treatment. For further info on prostate cancer go to: https://www.pcf.org/
  2. There maybe a cure for diabetes, but the truth of the matter is affordability / access to treatment could easily be a major factor.. e.g. in the USA diabetes treatment is unaffordable for the less well off. Also of course the amount of sugar in food; simple examples being bread, cereals and yoghurt for breakfast in Western diets and of course rice in Asian diets. From the article... The research also estimated that by 2045, three quarters of adults with diabetes will live in low- and middle-income countries. But even in wealthy countries such as the United States, diabetes rates were almost 1.5 times higher among minorities such as black, Hispanic, Asian or Native Americans, a separate Lancet study said.
  3. 10MG dose per day is the norm for treatment of nerve pain. Much higher doses are available for treatment of depression or other clinical matters. I do not know if Amitriptyline is available from Thai doctors or spinal treatment specialists.
  4. OP: I have suffered from moderate spinal stenosis for a number of years. Specialist declined surgical intervention. Over the years I had been prescribed a number of pain killers which were ineffective. I am now using amitriptyline, 10mg a day, which enables me to walk relatively pain free. The drug is normally used for anti depressant in higher dosage, but was discovered to be helpful for nerve pain. You may like to get your girlfriend to try the treatment for a month to see if it helps. I understand a prescription is required. Note they can make you feel tired, so take before bedtime.
  5. Sure, but a lot of competition for work in the mining sector. If you have friend / family for intros might be viable.
  6. Male over 60 you can do volunteer work for 30 hours a week - no need to work Not so sure plenty of jobs, would very much depend on your location and skills - agism is still extensive.
  7. OP, FYI at the moment rent would absorb most of your Jobseeker allowance if you relocate to a major city / in demand location. Some years back I relocated back to Oz to wait out the two year period to return to Thailand where we have a house. I'm still here as I was diagnosed with cancer and cannot afford the ongoing medical care costs in Thailand - just a heads up about plans....
  8. “In this case, former President Trump hasn't been charged with spying for a foreign government, or espionage as we normally think about it, but he has been charged with willfully withholding national defense information – which is the way that a case like this is normally charged,” https://edition.cnn.com/2023/06/13/politics/espionage-act-trump-what-matters/index.html#:~:text=“In this case%2C former President, normally charged%2C” Cordero said. In any case Trump is his own worst enemy. He had complied with lawful requests he wouldn't be in the position he now finds himself.
  9. With iPhone easy to run iTunes.
  10. OP: If you only want an iPhone for basic functionality get an iphone12 with, say 256 Gb of memory to endure sufficient storage for downloaded music. Apple IOS updates are supported. FYI I have an iPhoneSE with 256 memory which currently support approx 5,600 downloaded tracks from iTunes, I have an old car so run the music from iPhone plugged into the radio.
  11. Unfortunately you're incorrect. There some neo Nazi groups in Australia who create problems.. One assumes you're aware that Western intelligence agencies, including Australia, have identified far right groups as one of the current primary threats. BTW the Australian Constitution does not explicitly protect "Free Speech".
  12. You're correct, if No Further Stay condition with visa; not always the case. Info re partner visa,,, https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/getting-a-visa/visa-listing/partner-onshore
  13. Upon arrival in Oz, say two months later, apply for a partner visa. Partner will be granted a bridging visa. You need to check the waiting time for processing, but around 12 months. Check online the T&Cs to see if see is eligible for work and access to Medicare whilst waiting for partner visa to be granted. BTW the info you seek is available online.
  14. Correct, but the Civil Courts was the chosen path of Roberts - Smith. He was provided the opportunity not to proceed with a civil case. Remember war crimes were identified by a military inquiry ,the Bereton Report; refer below... https://www.aph.gov.au/About_Parliament/Parliamentary_Departments/Parliamentary_Library/pubs/BriefingBook47p/BreretonReport
  15. Australia's most-decorated living soldier Ben Roberts-Smith has lost a historic defamation case against three newspapers that accused him of war crimes in Afghanistan. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-australia-65773942
  16. Farage never took any responsibility - just a loudmouth.
  17. Which has zero relevance to the OP based upon current threat levels, which is why I posted an example of current threats which Biden is referencing.
  18. To put the OP in perspective refer below. There are numerous other articles based upon Federal government assessments over the past five years or so. https://www.politico.com/news/2020/09/04/white-supremacists-terror-threat-dhs-409236 .
  19. No, it's a civil case. Currently claiming he will appeal verdict.
  20. No prejudice on my part, just providing some info; refer below. No further reply to you. Australian Government gross debt has increased from $534.4 billion in March 2019 to $894.9 billion as of 28 October 2022. The October 2022–23 Budget forecasts further increases in gross debt to $1.159 trillion (43.1% of GDP) by the end of the 2025–26 financial year (Budget strategy and outlook: budget paper no. 1: 2022–23, p. 218). While these are the highest levels of debt on issue by the Australian Government since the 1950s, they remain well below both Australian historical peaks reached following the Second World War (p. 8) and current government debt levels held by governments in other developed countries. https://www.aph.gov.au/About_Parliament/Parliamentary_departments/Parliamentary_Library/pubs/rp/BudgetReviewOctober202223/AustralianGovernmentDebt
