  1. Would be interesting to get the Israeli figures of Hamas fighters killed. Israelis always claim they know what they're targeting so shouldn't be that difficult.
  2. Sure. Israelis are strong, but thank goodness they have a tough opposition to Netanyahu.
  3. Area bombing of Germany commenced 1942. Luftwaffe bombing of UK was already less intense in 1942. As to your personal comment - assumptive nonsense. But we are going way off topic so time to cease this dialogue.
  4. Release of hostages is with Netanyahu ownership, plenty of Israelis are claiming he is delaying release for his own political interests i.e. continuing attacks on Gaza and West Bank.
  5. As already stated, it's the issue of proportionality which is being questioned by many in the international community and within Israeli society. We all have different positions on morality and ethics in war, personally I believe a official kill ratio of 1:20 is overkill and will act contrary to Israeli long term interests. Surely the blood lust of revenge should be sated by now. One has only to view the hatred on the faces of Gazans after a bombing pulling dead civilians from the wreckage..
  6. At one stage Harris authorised "area bombing", another term used was "terror bombing' i.e. deliberate bombing of civilians, the objective being to weaken the morale of the German people, which was a failure as was the German bombing of UK civilians.
  7. Exactly how many Israelis US citizens have been arrested, charged and jailed under Rule 14 None? In other words the relevant government would not cooperate with any party wishing to prosecute their military. Again it is not a false claim of a 1:20 ratio of permitted killing. You easily access the article to confirm contents e.g. via Reuters. Pray tell which International Court can arrest US / Israelis on their home territory. Yes, of course it's likely, subject to politics, to ne arrested on Signatory counties soil. No more to and fro as Mod will come along and stop the discourse i.e. "bickering"
  8. Actually Churchill did question the morality of terror bombing - from memory one of his quotes is "have we become beasts"
  9. Correct: https://www.theguardian.com/world/2024/apr/03/israel-gaza-ai-database-hamas-airstrikes
  10. Again disagree. Where in international law does it state an acceptable ratio of one enemy dead to 20 civilians is OK. As I understand proportionality is the guiding rule, w1:20 is not proportional. Splitting hairs; as a non signatory the citizen on that country can only be arrested in a compliant jurisdiction.
  11. It is not a false claim when IDF knowingly kills civilians. However, as with the USA the Israelis are not a signatory (no surprise) to the relevant treaties so will never face judgement by an International Court for War Crimes.
  12. Rules of engagement permitted killing 20 civilians for one Hamas member, I call that deliberately killing civilians, probably would also be defined a War Crime.
  13. Have tried some links, none worked on this platform. Type the OP title into your browser, should be OK
  14. Harris carried out carpet bombing (terror bombing) to specifically target civilians, some accuse the Israelis of also deliberately targeting civilians, including the subject OP. Churchill noted carpet bombing did not break the will of the German people, which was the intent, presumably the same applies to the Israelis.
  15. Immediately after the Oct. 7, 2023 attack on Israel by groups of Hamas-led gunmen, the military granted mid-ranking officers the authority to strike a wide range of military targets where up to 20 civilians risked being killed, the newspaper said Israeli military loosened rules of engagement at start of Gaza war, New York Times reports
  16. Any country that elects the likes of trump - Never. Would of thought the opinion piece from the same source would be of more interest for the MAGA types to rant about. A new report from the MCC Brussels warns of an escalating constitutional crisis in Poland under Prime Minister Donald Tusk. It details a coordinated assault on the rule of law that threatens to undermine democracy and judicial independence. https://brussels.mcc.hu/news/new-report-exposes-donald-tusks-anti-democracy-handbook
  17. Did you read the content of your link? e.g. Sharia councils have no official legal or constitutional role in the UK. Their work consists primarily of adjudicating on religious divorces, usually at the request of women. They may also give verdicts on other aspects of day-today life, for example on Sharia-compliant finance or on halal food.4 It seems some of these Councils /Courts exceed their remit, Councils exceeding their remit HMG need to remove the decision maker / makers by enacting legislation. IMO such legislation is also well past due for Cannon Law, Jewish religious law and so on. I have observed the successful outcome for Muslim women requesting divorce in Thailand. Accordingly it's a matter of appointing the 'right' people, not those pandering to prejudices. .
  18. No requirement for me to answer your demands. However, yes I am aware of the abuse as well as abuse by non Muslims. Ranting about it on this forum makes zero difference - why not return to the UK or wherever and work for a NGO or in Thailand for NGO for abused women - plenty of abused women in good old Buddhist Thailand.
  19. Snipped for brevity. Again Sharia Council judgements are not enforceable under UK Law. You've never had a "bit on the side" or used the services on a working girl Mr Squeaky Clean.?
  20. Why on earth would you work for 20 years in MENAN. No doubt you have observed many negatives , but nothing to do with the OP. You would know or should, all the issues you talk to are created by Man.
  21. <snipped for brevity> Do you enjoy being such a negative person? There will always be exceptions no matter the scenario.
  22. Actually a good move to contribute to cohesion, same as the Thai Constitution. The Thai King actually has an officially appointed Muslim Adviser (The Grand Mufti of Thailand) https://riyadh.thaiembassy.org/th/page/29025-muslim-in-thailand-2?menu=5d80b46615e39c0a50006465
  23. If true, then HMG is failing in it's responsibilities, though I understand additional legislation is under review in Parliament. But in the meantime Sharia Law does not condone abuse of women, that action is done my ignorant / misogynistic men. of whom more than a few on this forum. https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/media/5a750e8040f0b6397f35d531/6.4152_HO_CPFG_Report_into_Sharia_Law_in_the_UK_WEB.pdf
  24. You fail with comprehension. BTW I have never, repeat never, attempted to excuse or justify abuse of women. Accordingly cease your misinformation / lies.
