Thai businesses advised to prepare for global economic reset

It's not a good idea to be holding a lot of money in banks right now, imo. -
Digital "money" is just tokens given to you by a bank. Numbers on a screen. These tokens can be deducted at source at negative interest rate, or given a time limit to spend. Or linked to your social credit score. It's basically slavery and the antithesis of personal wealth or financial freedom. Shove it.

Yep. It's sometimes hard to fathom just how nuts some Thais are about their (fake) lineage and ancestry. We have a few amongst our staff at work. Completely brainwashed from an early age. 🤪 -

Three weeks of Songkran celebrations begin April 1st
huangnon replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Always happy to give Songkran the swerve, and visit UK / friends overseas during April. My 12yo son doesn't even know what Songkran looks like, tbh. -
Tourism Concerns Spark Plea for Alcohol Sales Law Change
huangnon replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Spot on. Probably the worst selection of 'beers' in all of Asia. If you want to buy alcohol outside of the ridiculous time zones here, just use your local mom n pop shop. Simples. -

huangnon replied to webfact's topic in Phuket News
They knew he had it as they probably sold it to him in the first place. Nice to know this dangerous drugs czar / kingpin is off the streets though, eh?
