Okay. I always took creatine before a weights workout (3X / week) for about 5 years. Recently I spent a month in UK and didn't use any creatine whatsoever. So when I returned here, I had to 'load' with creatine all over again. Within the first 2 weeks I gained some weight (muscle), but got headaches and high BP, and initially didn't know what was causing it. I stopped taking creatine and the headaches and BP went back to normal again. Creatine makes your kidneys work harder, and causes your body / muscles to retain water, I'm in my upper 50's now so I don't think I'll bother with it again, tbh. Apparently, mixing creatine with caffeine and medication like NSAIDS (ibuprofen, aleve, etc) can be detrimental also. Some further info here: https://www.livestrong.com/article/468682-can-i-take-creatine-with-high-blood-pressure/

Ditto Avocados. Seem to have a ripe 'window' of about 15 minutes. From cricket-ball hardness to mushy brown crud almost instantly.

Do you supplement with, or take Creatine before workouts?

Distrusted them ever since the UK miner's strikes in the 80's. Metropolitan Police drafted and bussed up from London to smash picket lines and (gleefully) brutalize striking miners in Northern coal towns in the 1980's. They are at the whim of political actors obviously. We saw that when they adopt the 'gloves off' tactics for Covid protests, yet allow and even facilitate people stopping commercial traffic by sitting in or gluing themselves to roads, etc. Just glad UK cops haven't yet adopted the military weaponry of other Western forces. So far.

Thai wildlife rescuer remains comatose months after cobra bite
huangnon replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
King Cobras are I think the world's largest venomous snake and can inject huge amounts of venom, depending on circumstances. It was enough to stop K. Jakrin's heart for 30 minutes which caused the brain damage and coma. He was probably a volunteer, trying to relocate the animal from an urban area. -
Three American Bully dogs maul 70-year-old man to death
huangnon replied to webfact's topic in Isaan News
They are white trash fighting dogs. Pitbulls. The "pit" part is a hole in the ground where the dogs fight to the death against each other, cheered on by neanderthals for bets. They are bred for strength, ferociousness, and huge bite power. Who in their right mind would consider one for a pet..? Pitbull = <deleted>bull. <deleted> dogs for <deleted> people. -
Yep, that this POS gangster (and his murderous progeny) is still involved in politics speaks volumes about this country. Been involved in just about every type of criminality in his illustrious career, (even kidnapping people) and had to flee to Denmark at one point..

Mysterious footprints in Rayong spark ghostly speculation

I'm sure there are auspicious messages in those footprints.. Lucky lottery numbers even. Those footprints are the work of a particularly nasty ghost, the "Pee Kuan Teen", so best get some serious merit-making done at yer local temple, peasants! -

Yep, the Swiss Army sure have the weaponry to defend all that plundered WWII gold and cuckoo clocks. I'd love to see their military's weapons drill. -

Yep, its not "money" or personal wealth. It's a system to control your movements, spending habits and the like. You can be taxed at source and de-funded by just a few computer clicks from your bank. -
I've never stopped listening to, or liking music. It's always been important to me and I hope this continues. Gotten a lot more eclectic in my old age, and just listen to stuff that matches (or enhances) my mood of the hour.

Does Samet have the requisite filth you are hoping for, Bob? Not been for a couple of years, but last time I went there wasn't much bargirl / LB activity. Seems more of a family-type place. You may have to rent in advance, or recruit from soi 6 or environs. Hope this is helpful. Have a great trip.
