The nearest supermarket to the new Best is Foodland in Terminal 21 which is open 24/7. Going before the mall opens is a good time to visit. Although Best was never the best, and still isn't, the new location is super convenient for me so I'll be a regular customer.

Supreme Court Overturns Trump-Era Ban on Bump Stocks

That is not correct. Fully automatic machine guns are legal in the USA. But they are very highly regulated and a PITA to buy and own. You just need to find a seller with a Class III license. Here is an example of a Miami gun shop with machine guns for sale https://dealernfa.com/ -
Your visa in the expired passport is still valid and you just need to show both passports when entering China. I don't believe a Chinese visa can be transferred. You would need to apply for a new one. If applying for a new visa you may be required to present your old passport so the valid visa in it can be cancelled . From China Embassy in USA: China Embassy in USA Q: I renewed my passport recently. I previously had a Chinese visa on my expired passport which is still within the valid period.Do I need to apply for a new visa? A: Please check whether there is any change of Name, Gender, Date of Birth and Nationality between the new and expired passports. If the information above has not changed and the purpose of your upcoming trip to China is consistent with the visa type, a new visa is not required. Please travel to China with both passports. If your personal information has changed or the purpose of your trip to China is different from the type of current visa, please apply for a new visa. From China Embassy in Thailand: China Embassy in Bangkok The Phuket Consular Office of The Consulate General of The People's Republic of China in Songkhla Vice Consul General and Head of The Phuket Consular Office: Ms. WANG HUIJUAN Add.: 96/69 Royal Place, By Pass Rd., Kathu District, Phuket, Thailand Tel. She was not a scapegoat. She was the one responsible for weapons safety on the set. She did not do her job and someone died. She got off with a very light sentence.

Pattaya Police Take Action Against Bars Operating Past Legal Hours
Smokin Joe replied to snoop1130's topic in Pattaya News
There are a lot of Thais that work late and get off anywhere from 10PM until even 2AM. They are on a different internal clock compared to the old expats that are in bed by 10PM. They like to go out after work also. The location of the bars in the story are where a lot of "Thai" clubs are. The misleading photo of Walking Street, which was not one of the areas named, was just another example of lazy journalism. -

Duration of Thai driving licenses
Smokin Joe replied to JetsetBkk's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
It was not issued for 22 years. It was issued for 5 years. The license in the photo was issued in 2021. My FIRST license was issued in 2005. I have always renewed on time every 5 years ( 4 or 5 times) and the issue date has remained the same. -

Duration of Thai driving licenses
Smokin Joe replied to JetsetBkk's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
Here is a photo of my license. Some details have been changed to protect the guilty. Issue date: 4 August 2005 Expiry Date: 13 November 2027 The issue date is apparently the date my first 5 year license was issued and I have an unbroken string of renewals each time it was expiring. Kerry's isn't the same, but he had let his expire for 8-9 months before renewing. So the issue date is more like a "Licensed Driver since...." date. -

His question is about the fact that the expiration date of his license "four years left" or 2028 is 23 years after the issue date of 2005. -
In Utah Social Security is subject to tax: States That Tax SS But like you said, if you don't open your mail you can't get in trouble for not knowing. Because that wouldn't be fair.

Duration of Thai driving licenses
Smokin Joe replied to JetsetBkk's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
The license expires on you birthday. When you get a new one it is valid for 5 years from your next birthday. If you renew a few days your birthday you'll only get 5 years but renewing a few days after you will get almost 6 years. And you must be on a permission of stay that is 90 days or longer such as a Non-O, B, ED Visa or Extension of stay for marriage or retirement. If on a tourist visa or visa exempt entry you will only be able to get a 2 year provisional license. Even if you have already had, or have, a 5 year license. When you get a new license the issue date will not be the date you got the new one. The issue date will be the date of your FIRST license. My license expires in 2027 and the issue date is 2005. -
My advice is to: first write your speech and get someone translate it to Thai. I would suggest short "bullet" statements rather than long flowery phrases that might be difficult to remember. Memorize it and repeat it while getting feedback on pronunciation from a Thai. Repeat this at least 100 times focusing on getting the pronunciation correct. If you need to read it you can transliterate it using spelling that YOU understand how to pronounce. Don't expect anyone to understand you.
