Such a stupid move. They should make all children watch border security shows so that it curbs them from doing anything like this when they grow up. I guess some adults need it too but some are just out for quick money and think they found a great hiding spot and won’t get caught. Sure some get through, but why risk it. No thank you.

The drugs had a value of 2.6 million baht ? Well they may have somewhere and at sometime along their journey ! that works out at about 86 bt per gram , which is what these idiots would have paid if they bought it 1g at a time from their local dispensary Only an idiot would consider doing do that, lol, and only an idiot would consider smuggling weed out of Thailand ? especially now, what with it currently "trending" ?

My initial thoughts looking at the 3 of them was that they might have been acting as forced "mules" unable to say no to the demands of some international criminal gang , but considering that perfectly smokable cannabis is available here on a retail basis for 4 baht per gram , and buying 30kg of the stuff would have cost maybe 1 bt per gram , probably even less, So in reality it has cost about 30,000bt, about the same cost as a flight, hardly evidence of organised crime, but well within the scope of the three miscreants pictured

Had it arrived in europe,? well in the UK for example , if sold by the kilo it would be worth around £ 4000 per kilo ( 160bt / g) which gives it a total value of around 5 million baht wholesale, but if it were to make its way to the street corners of council estates it could be sold for up to £15 (600bt) per gram, giving it a potential value of 18million baht

All that money All because of reefer madness , and the associated prohibition, If people world wide were simply allowed to grow their own, all that money could be put to a much better use ,and when we add to that, the cost of enforcing "the madness" we are talking a serious amount of money , So why not legalise weed globally and end world poverty, and with the money left over we can make alcohol free , effectively silencing the most vocal opponents

There is absolutely no corruption within Thai customs and the Royal Thai Police. They would absolutely never sell on seized drugs worth millions and millions of baht while taking home their 20,000 baht per month salary, and would absolutely document it all correctly, for the millions of bahts worth to be destroyed.

According to Google's AI, it is an extremely bad idea to place cannabis products in your checked luggage when leaving Thailand — and don't forget that if you change flight in for example Singapore, it can be even worse, if detected there...

Yeah, unfortunately, the value of it differs from person to person. For some of these idiots that amount can be seen as a life changing pile of money. That´s kind of where we have the real problem.

They did not read or heard news on the internet as the last weeks a lot of people were caught with cannabis smuggling. Stupidity has however no borders...Even in their own country they know what will happen if you smuggle drugs.
