Pattaya Teens Arrested for Robbing Australian Tourist

Two teenagers were arrested by Pattaya police following the stabbing and robbery of an Australian tourist at a guesthouse. The victim, Alikosh Ghulam, 45, reported being attacked and robbed of A$6,000 (about 140,000 baht) after inviting two individuals he believed to be women to his room. Upon realizing they were transgender, an altercation ensued, leading to Ghulam being stabbed and having his money stolen.

Ghulam received medical care before reporting the incident to the authorities. The swift police response resulted in the arrests of the suspects, identified as 17-year-old Phi and 16-year-old Priew, at a nearby condominium. Both minors admitted to the crime and were charged with armed robbery with the involvement of multiple persons.

The arrests have reiterated concerns over the impact of such incidents on Pattaya's reputation among tourists. Police acknowledge the challenges in preventing crimes within private accommodations but emphasize their commitment to prompt action against offenders. Moving forward, Pattaya police plan to enhance their surveillance and response strategies to deter similar crimes.

    I/you/we don't know if he had sex with them at all , all we know is that he was stabbed by them and money was stolen.

    Not when they are selling sex. Then it is the purchaser that is breaking the law with a minor. Unless the purchaser is also a minor then that may be a different story.

    Although these these minors, in the sex trade, can look like they are 25 if they have all the "makeup" on. That is still no excuse especially for the courts.

    One day while living in a Latin American town I was passing near a high school at the end of the day, and in a moment I fully understood why the official age of consent (culturally) is 15. The girls, generally, sure as hell didn't look like kids! Teenage pregnancies waiting to happen.

    In this case I get the impression these two happy boys had a much, much better understanding of the situation than brother Ghulam.

    The problem is common sense. It's your problem. Taking minors to a room for sex is a criminal offense whether they had sex or not. They are minors so they are being exploited.

    i think that you are one lacking common sense !! this is Thailand ladyboys are conducting business IF anything of a criminal offense occurred the thai police would have charged the guy but did that happen NO !! how are these ladyboys going by there own free will being exploited i think you need to open your eyes in thailand this happens every day as i said dumb !!

    When I arrived in Pattaya all the bar girls were 17 years old.
