Duh! Woman's car goes up in smoke after she lights candles and incense on the license plate

KAMPHAENG PHET: -- A Thai woman praying to Chinese ancestors tied incense and candles to the front license plate of her Toyota Vios.

 

Then left them burning there in her apartment car park while she went to have a shower and get ready for work.

 

Somewhat lucky for Janjira Thiangyoo, 24, an employee at a Kamphaeng Phet loan company, was that a maid saw the fire before it was too late to save the car.

 

A gardener rushed over and put it out with water.

 

Police were called and saw that the front of the car had burnt causing considerable damage.

 

The fire happened at the Ban Mor Apartment in Muang district of Kamphaeng Phet yesterday morning.

 

It was a day people of Chinese descent mark with offerings to their ancestors.

Yea, and let's pray to god that people like this don't burn an apartment block down in the pursuit of their selfish wants. 

 

My problem with religion and spirituality is that it keeps people satisfied with not understanding the world.

What's her ancestors got to do with the car? Why not light candles at her local temple?

If she has she probably paid a lot less for her degree then her pick -up.   As for her Chinese ancesters,   well,  possibly had more brains then her.

What has it got to do with the Police,unless they are going to charge her

with arson,dont think the insurance will cover setting your own car on fire.
