Why isn't the policeman pointing? Cannot tell from the image what's wrong unless someone points it out.

Seems way too busy holding the offending license plate and with his radio at the ready!

I love when some people say, "We must respect people's spiritual beliefs".

Yea, and let's pray to god that people like this don't burn an apartment block down in the pursuit of their selfish wants.

My problem with religion and spirituality is that it keeps people satisfied with not understanding the world.

You can't understand the world, it is only a manifested illusion

Nothing like extra protection from the spirits

She didn't set the car on fire. The spirits did!

Methylated, that is..............

"It was a day people of Chinese descent mark with offerings to their ancestors."

I'll say! No livestock to offer, so the Vios has to go.  :cheesy:

In Thai culture, pointing is used as a mark of disrespect.

That's why they point at wrong doers and criminals.....

You people are so cynical. She's obviously pissed off the ancestors and needs to light more candles and incense on her next car's numberplate (I wonder how she goes with the insurance claim)

The insurance will probably be quite understanding if it is a Thai insurance, ''Your ancestors, you pay''

wonder what her alias name on thaifriendly is ???

Carma

Obviously her deities didn't appreciate her offerings via a Japanese product. Should have set fire to an MG.

Maybe a little glass of Lao Khao next to the candle?

Bumpers are plastic on almost everything less than 35 years old...

(That includes the ladyboys).

Chinese ancestors no longer accepting ghost money, they now need a real car.

Noooo... He is trying to solve the crime

And he did solve it!  It is clearly a suicide!

In a moment of depression, the car killed itself.

Just a reality check:

Registration plates are fixed vertically to front (and back) so it is actually impossible to put candles and incense on them.

Picture suggests they were above the plate probably stuck between plastic bumper and the back  of the metal plate.

Just an observation...

:whistling:

I guess the ancestors didn't like the color, preferring charcoal gray.

That's about all they're good at.

Given the way some of their offspring turn out, this statement could be disputed. :sorry::wai:

she did good in lighting the candle ... the spirits looked after her because the whole farking car didn't go up   ....:shock1:

I recall a similar incident back in the 80s. Thai neighbor had just got a new car out of her farang. She put one of those firework clay pot bombs next to a front wheel and lit it. The resulting spray of colorful sparks completely ruined the paintwork.
